I have gotten a couple lunch sandwiches here and love their sourdough bread. Otherwise you basically make your own sandwich with what you want. With high quality meats, cheese, toppings etc it’s just up to you to make what you like. Can’t speak to breakfast sandwiches.

Perfect place to grab a quick breakfast sandwich or lunch… love the variety at the hot bar and the big variety of chips, crackers, drinks and wines… Staff quick and nice. Love their extended hours and great location connected to Grand Hyatt.

I have spent $ 50 ordering 2 French dips from here and having them delivered to my home. They seem that delicious to me. This is a ridiculous extravagance and need to learn how to make them myself.

Only 3 stars because the empanada I had wasn’t that great, it was small, and it cost me $ 7. Besides that, the person who works there is super chill and they have a bunch of different food and small grocery items to choose from as well as sandwiches. Nice place to eat and take a rest for a bit

Went here to get a fast sandwich before a show and it took 15 min to get 2 sandwiches. There was a lady cleaning the buffet who could have easily helped make the food but just kept doing her thing while the cashier took orders. The food was hot and tasty which bumped this up to 3 stars. Will not come back if I’m in a hurry

We’ve come here a few times before when in town for conferences and it’s been pretty good… they use Boar’s Head meats/cheeses, so those are quality. But when we went in this time, it wasn’t a great experience. The cashier was really unfriendly with me(and I’m not one of those people who expects huge smiles from customer service people, but he seemed like he actively resented helping me), and then they were out of all the kinds of bread I wanted, so when he went to make mine, he just mutely held up a roll of bread at me until I asked what? And he clarified that they were out of a lot of bread so he’d have to use a roll(would have been nice to know that when ordering/paying for my sandwich…). The sandwich itself was fairly disappointing, considering the yummy stuff I’ve gotten here in the past. The ratios were off on condiments – it was nearly dry – and the bread was so chewy that I couldn’t even eat the top half of the roll(I think it was the more stale part), so I had to remove it and eat it open faced. I had like ¼ of it and then tossed it, ate my Kettle chips instead.

First off, I really enjoyed coming here. It is a unique little spot to eat and the fact that they offer seating in their store is just awesome. The salad bar looked fantastic with fresh options available. We were in there for just a quick bite and grabbed a French dip as well as a chicken curry empanada. The French dip was a bit disappointing and we honestly only ordered it because of Unilocal reviews. It was bland and had a microwaved taste to it as the soft bread became harder as we ate. It had a yellow cheese on it which I guess could be described as interesting. The chicken curry empanada though was absolutely devine! It was definitely made with Indian curry and tasted like a pastry samosa but super fresh and yummy. The other sandwiches look very good and perhaps we should of gone for a deli sandwich. Next time though! We’ll definitely be back to give the sandwiches another go. The people behind the counter were very nice as well.

Solid 4 stars. Great sandwiches in a short amount of time. Extremely friendly staff and a rich drink selection to pair with any sandwich. Great sandwiches but nothing super special.

First, the people are awesome… they remember you, and they remember what you order. They engage in little conversations with if you haven’t been there for a while. The food is awesome, and priced fairly. You cannot go wrong!

I’m only out in this area about 4 times a year. I need to get at least one of their sandwiches toasted every time that I am. Literally my favorite deli.

Grabbed a breakfast sandwich here, since I’m staying at the Grand Hyatt so it’s super convenient. Got the ham on an english muffin and BF got the bacon on an english muffin. This being a deli and with such high reviews, I was honestly disappointed when I unwrapped my sandwich. Although the ham was good, the egg patty tasted like something frozen they had microwaved, and the cheese was bland. The whole sandwich lacked flavor. I wished I had a bottle of hot sauce to throw on there but we ate it in the room and had no condiments. If you are looking for a quick bite and this place is convenient for you, I think it’s fine, but definitely not memorable.

We visited NYC Deli on 7⁄4 while staying at the Grand Hyatt for a quick breakfast before jumping on our cruise. This place is a hidden gem. I ordered the veggie breakfast sandwich and let me just say as a vegetarian I’ve had veggie sandwiches everywhere and this one is the bomb. Best veggie sandwich ever. Very tasteful and not dry at all, which unfortunately most times veggies sandwiches are. We also picked up some cheeses, wine and snacks. They had a very nice selection of snacks. Definitely something for everyone. The two employees behind the counter greeted us with a smile and were friendly and courteous. Great food, great service, excellent selection. What more can you ask for?

Yummy. Starving loading out a show at Paramount. Great little Deli for breaky and lunch. Quality Boars Head meats. Prices pretty good too for in the city. U can dine in, two bars with 5 chairs each and hot coffee oh ya.

Wow what a great little deli/convenient store! Great Italian style sandwiches and a wide selection of chips. Little gourmet shop for the moments you would like to grab a nice bottle of wine, some bre, crackers and some delicious world market like selection of chocolate. Literally like 3 different kinds of bacon chocolate… I will have to try it next time. Friendly service and very easily accessible, I’ve never seen this place due to the Starbucks logo being the main thing I see when walking by. Lol enjoy!

This place was a very welcome respite when my husband and I couldn’t find any place to eat in downtown Seattle(we didn’t know Billy Idol was playing at the paramount). Wonderful selection of home-made sandwiches and a plethora of alcoholic drinks. Probably one of the best french dip sandwiches I’ve ever had! We’ll definitely be back.

We came here twice on a recent trip to Seattle. My husband is a very picky fan of French dips and absolutely loved the one here. The bread is crusty but not too hard, the meat is plentiful and tender, the cheese is flavorful but not over powering, and the au jus is condensed enough that it’s not too watery or too thick. It’s the perfect French dip. This place is just a little deli with limited counter seating, so it’s nice and casual. Hey definitely have something special to offer in terms of a good sandwich, though.

If the place says New York City(NYC) — as a New Yorker — I will try it. Always try the Reuben as a test. They pasted the first part when they did not ask what I want on it(although you can get Corn Beef or Pastrami). For those who follow my reviews that statement makes sense — a Reuben is a specific sandwich and when they start asking you what do you want — they have no idea what a true Reuben is — sort of like asking what kind of dressing do you want on a Caesar or what type of meat on a BLT. You get a decent amount of meat but not enough sauerkraut so I would give it 3 out of 5 starts. What happened to the days you would get a pickle with your sandwich. Most of the local NY places still do — but not here. Some of the good ones actually have them on the table. The atmosphere is sort of a dell but to me a real deli would have more meat and cheese in the cooler to choose from — only seen around 5 types of meet to have sliced. They were friendly enough but only have a few counter tops to eat from — no tables. Not an issue since deli’s do that — just pointing it out. Overall it is OK but I am not sure I would call it a NYC Deli — just my opinion.

I wish that less people knew they existed during PAX Prime but the secret is out and it’s well deserved. It’s a solid food choice with friendly service even when they were slammed. It’s important to note here that they were pretty much slammed all the time during PAX. So if you hit them up next year, maybe take a moment when you order and remember a please/thank you, eh? Their cold and hot sandwiches are made to order so be patient when they are busy. You can call your order in but word of caution: sometimes background noise is very loud so they may have difficulties hearing your complex order. They also have some lovely empanadas in the deli case. I ordered breakfast twice from there and loved both items. There’s also other small market items like pints of ice cream, massive cookies, and other snacky goodness. They accept credit cards and cash. There are a couple of outside tables if you want to eat on the street and enjoy the weather. Most folks grab their food to go though, I only ever saw the counter seats half-occupied during my daily visits.
