Nelson Orthodontics

I take my two kids to the Ballard office and we have had really great experiences. We consulted with one other ortho in the area and by far preferred the atmosphere and friendliness of Dr. Nelson’s office. I like it so much I’ve decided to get some of my 1980s orthodontia spruced up a bit. Dr. Nelson himself is professional yet friendly and and all of the hygenists have been nice, too. When my son got his phase 1 braces off, they brought him a balloon, which I thought was a cute touch.
Both of my kids have severe food allergies/​celiac, and when I inquired to make sure none of the orthodontic materials contained the dangerous ingredients, they were more than accommodating in looking up the information.
The woman who handles financing (Kristen? Kristy?) has a great, calm but outgoing personality and has helped us with the monetary hurdles. She explains everything really well.
Just writing this review because we’ve had good experiences there and I think they deserve some credit.
