Mosaic Community Church

Love this church! I first became a part of Mosaic in 2010 and my life will never be the same. Biblical teaching, welcoming community, and powerful worship. This church isn’t just about a Sunday morning, it’s life on life relationships that will change your life.

Why would a allegedly small church need 5 – 6 highway billboards around town promoting one service with a church of already 1k attendees weekly? the tithe money and ‘discipleship college tuition’ money can be better suited elsewhere in the community and towards the community issues such as homelessness, drugs or neighborhood watch programs that Seattle deals with daily. «membership classes» to get accepted like a country club, non-​communal leadership meetings (back room meetings), lack of oversight on leadership and staff, focused too much on the college community. payment for oversees trips equaling to $ 3−5k per person (actual college students and adults with careers and jobs)
Still attend every now and then but this church can leave scars. This church needs more God in it and leadership needs to practice what they preach.

I first went to Mosaic about six weeks ago and was immediately impacted. This is a group that is incredibly welcoming, has passion, and takes God’s word seriously.
Here are the details:
They meet in the Queen Anne Community Center which seems to have plenty of resources for a group of their size. I would guess about 100 – 150 attend, a majority of which are college aged or just beyond — although there are certainly people represented from all age groups. They have exceptionally good contemporary music; they have been truly blessed in this area. Communion is regularly served although not on every sunday that I have been.
Have gone for several weeks now, I can say that the message presented by either Andrew or Brad will be uplifting, actionable, and based in the bible. Mosaic shows true Christian hospitality — everyone feels truly welcome. After my first time attending a service I was greeted by so many people I was there for 30 minutes afterward just talking.
If you are looking for a church home or just exploring, do give Mosaic a try. I’m certainly going to be going there for a while :)
