Café Ladro(at least the downtown Bellevue location) sells Molly’s food items now. I just bought the Mountain Goat Salad(BLECH!).The couscous was caked together in huge chunks, and for almost $ 7 I felt that it was way overpriced. I also got the Chicken Tortellini(because I knew I wouldn’t get full off of just a salad). The chicken tortellini was a little better, but way too flavorful, it actually hurt my mouth. I also felt that it was overpriced($ 6). So disappointed :(Won’t be purchasing Molly’s food items from Café Ladro again.

I am very disappointed these days in the sandwiches this company makes. I got the Freebird Turkey from Dilletante this morning, and it is extremely sub-par. The sundried tomato aioli was a bare inch-wide strip smear on both pieces of bread. The baby spinach was 3 small wilted leaves. The cheese included is large enough to cover about half the sandwich, and the«smoked» turkey is sparse and bland. The only good thing about this sandwich is the artisan-like bread. But, the $ 7+ cost is salt in the wound. You’re slipping, Molly’s. I feel I could get more substance with a breakfast at McDonald’s(gross), and that’s sad.

Meh. it was ok, but too expensive for a turkey sandwich. The service was«Seattle» not friendly. I don’t expect someone to be overly nice, but a simple hello and thank you would be nice. I will go someplace else next time, they wouldn’t care if I came back anyway! LOL :)

I purchased the ‘Freebird Turkey’ sandwich, made by Molly’s, from Bluebird Café(Capitol Hill, 1205 E Pike St., Seattle, WA) on Friday, June 22nd for the whopping total of $ 8.25! What gives? I know it’s all organic, but seriously? I can make my own organic sandwich with ingredients purchased at Metropolitan Market, and have more to eat than I did on Friday. Next time, I will. The sandwich was good, but not $ 8.25 good. $ 5.00, yeah. If Bluebird is overcharging, let me know and I’ll replace this review with a better one.

I had an interesting experience trying to have lunch at Molly’s. First, it was a bit hard to find. It’s inside the Seattle Design Center, which spans two blocks. I wasn’t sure where the entrance was and ended up driving around a few times until I found the parking lot(marked for«Seattle Design Center Customers only»). Once inside, I easily found the counter. They have a cold case of salads and sandwiches. But you can also order a few of their specials off the menu. I ordered the Freebird Turkey sandwich. However, I don’t eat gluten so I asked for it without the bread. I waited for about 5 minutes for it. When I received it, it was some chopped turkey on a bed of spinach. It looked like a small salad, so it was kind of disappointing. Portion sizes are small for the price. It was good, but not outstanding. I don’t think I will go again.

This place is my new favorite lunchtime spot. I think I come here too often, but is just too good. It is secluded in the Seattle design center and it has a tranquil feeling. I like to come here at my lunch hour to decompress. The food is really good and organic! I love the radish salad and the freebird sandwich. They have a special at lunch where you can buy a pop or coffee, sandwich and chips for a reduced fee. I normally buy one of their delicious juices and a sandwich or salad. The people who work here are super friendly, the service is quick, and always enjoyable!

I heard about this place through a Groupon Now deal in my work ‘hood — I had a credit and was trying to find myself a «free» lunch nearby. It’s actually pretty easy to find: they have an A-board out on the corner now and once you enter the building you can see they are smack dab in the middle of the main floor. As I got out of my car I realized I had left the printed Groupon sitting at my desk and desperately tried to pull it up on my phone before reaching the counter since I only get 30 minutes for lunch and didn’t have the time to run back. Once I explained what I was trying to do to the cute young gent at the counter, he suggested that if we couldn’t pull it up on my blackberry I could take his email and send him the appropriate code. Customer Service BONUS. I eventually was able to access it and got to checking out the menu. It’s seriously limited with about 5 sammies and as many salads(also, they don’t have egg salad sandwiches anymore, which was what I was looking forward to) but I ended up with the soup of the day and the Cowardly Brutus salad, both of which were hearty and delicious and satisfying. The balsamic dressing is very similar to what I make at home and had just the right amount of kick. The salad, soup and a Hansen’s root beer were a little under $ 15 before the groupon discount. The items are pricey, but you’re getting organic goodies and we all know it costs more to eat healthily in Seattle Think DT café prices and you shouldn’t end up with sticker shock. It’s definitely worth checking out if you work in the Georgetown neighborhood!

What more is there to say than PB&J on artisan bread. Yum. It’s also nice having a good Espresso stand with Stumptown coffee.

A cute little stand in the Design Center that makes Stumptown Coffee along with organic salads and sandwiches. I’ve only had the coffee, but the service is very friendly and the space in the Design Center is really nice.

I just got some sandwiches from Molly’s for the set of a photo shoot that I did in the SODO area. Even the models gobbled them all up. And we all know how difficult it is to get models to eat. They have some great tasting and unique sandwiches and salads.

This place just gets better! In my review I’d mentioned that I’d love to know where else I could get Molly’s food and Bryan from Molly’s wrote me and sent me a link that maps out every location in Seattle(and beyond!) How awesome and useful is that? Here’s the link for everyone to see!

Molly’s is hidden inside the Seattle Design Center offering Stumptown Coffee and Essential Bakery pastries. Favs: — Egg Salad Sandwich — PB&J(worth the price for a childhood flashback) — Free Bird — organic turkey sandwich — Hansen’s Grapefruit — Single shot latte — and of course the friendly staffs I am here often working on my papers while waiting for the bf to get off work. Bring your own extension cord if your laptop battery does not function w/o a plug-in. Most of the showrooms are open to public if you need some inspiration for your home décor.
