MiiR has an extremely inviting atmosphere and ambiance that I really appreciate. It’s modern, clean and sleek but not cold or detached from its customers. I loved their chalkboard beer list with plenty of local brews that included a kombucha and a few other non-alcoholic options! They don’t advertise the fact that they serve food very well, so ask for a menu if you’re hungry! I had a sausage breakfast sandwich that tasted homemade and was delicious, albeit a little steep in price. This place is bustling with people working on laptops so it can be tough to find a spot sometimes, but it’s a great little place to hang out! I will be back.

Awesome coffee, décor, and cause. Stopped into MiiR for some coffee and to do some work. The ambiance is great, a friendly vibe of go-getters wanting to make a difference. In addition to the coffee, they also have a fun beer selection. After a few hours of working, I got hungry and tried the pretzel and it was warm, soft, and delicious. The staff was super friendly and fun to chat with. Definitely would stop by again.

Nature & social conscious café with an inspiring design! If I had an option to work from home(instead of office), this would be one of the cafes I would like to sit and work. The place is nice, quiet, clean and just simply sleek. They have quite a great and interesting selection of drinks(both alcoholic for beer and non-alcoholic for soda). However, the selection of food may be lacking. I didn’t see anything many options that i could munch on at all though(not sure if it was because I arrived in the evening or they just simply had limited food selection). I love though that the place seems to offer other selection of adventure & social conscious related goods, too. It’s such an interesting concept and simply a different vibe than other cafes out there.

Great variety of beers to choose from, I am yet to have their coffee though. Not the best place to study due to large crowds and loud-ish music, but a great atmosphere that feels hip as ever.

If you are a huge fan of Nitro Cold Brew, I highly recommend this place to the coffee enthusiast out there. Stumptown is probably the first thing that comes to mind when you think of cold brew. Sorry, this place is much better. I’ve visited this place many times because their isn’t a lot of coffee shops that are next to a beautiful park!(Gasworks Park) But when its a sunny day outside, this place is the best place to hangout. The setup inside is great because the tables are setup in a way so you can have great conversations with your friends. The apparel they sell defines the community of Seattle as it’s targeted towards bikers. The first time I came here, I realized how popular it was late in the afternoon. I thought I was weird coming in at 6PM getting a coffee… but I wasn’t alone. There were so many people their I was happy to find a place to sit! I ordered a latte and it was tasted awesome. The coffee beans they use here give a strong taste of the coffee(I LOVEIT) but the milk they use(I will find out) makes the coffee very unqiue. It gave it such a rich texture and it hard not drink it slowly. Now the Nitro Cold Brew released just in time for summer, and I’ve come here so often becuase it taste so good. This Nitro Brew has a subtle fizz to it that it makes it hard to believe it was infused with nitrogen. On top of that, I’ve never been a fan of coffee foam until this drink. The foam had a subtle sweetness to it, it balance out very will with the strong taste of the cold brew. The taste is addicting and it keeps me a regular at Miir. WARNING: The caffeine in this drink is godly. I have a high coffee tolerance(6 cups of coffee) and it made me very very awake.(Great studying tool) I highly highly reccomend this place to all my coffee enthusiast out there and to the people that never tried a Nitro Cold Brew. I just reccomend that if you study here, charge your laptop before because outlets are hard to find.

The first thing to notice about MiiR is the beautiful clean space. It has a modern-industrial-minimal look, complimented with light blue and colorful cups and canteens for sale. It is big and spacious, yet you get the feel that the main area should be able to sit more. Overall, though, amazing looking place. It’s a pretty good location and gets a good amount of sun. You can get some glimpses of the water, but mostly out of the side of your eye if you’re sitting in the right space, or a bit better view from one of the few tables outside. Most of the seating is stool or bench, which takes it’s toll on my back after some time but probably works well for the undergrad crowd. The place was pretty full at 3pm and at the current moment there is not really any available seating save for outside(where surprisingly nobody is sitting on this sunny 70 degree day). There are some outlets and free unsecure wi-fi that seems to be working fine. There also seems to be some additional seating in a bit of a secluded and drab looking room. Apparently part of your purchase goes toward a water project in Rwanda, which I’m sure is worth learning more about. They also have a lot of microbrews on tap and some bikes hanging on the wall, as well as some other random merchandise. The service was really friendly and pretty fast, although there was not much of a line. At this point I’ve only had one drink. It was an almond milk macchiato. It came out as two espresso cups and a small glass on a plate. There was the drink, additional milk, and sparkling water, a pretty neat presentation. The coffee itself was more bitter than I’m used to, as the places I frequent tend to serve pretty strong, roasty, and nutty espresso. Overall, it’s a cool space, and seems pretty oriented to sitting for awhile and working. Although the seating challenges my slightly out of whack back, I’m still interesting in returning and trying another drink some time. It would also be a nice place to grab a beer in the evening, stare at the Aurora bridge and try to steal a glimpse of Lake Union. I do wish it was a bit more comfortable and I definitely need to see if I’ll like any of their other drink options a bit more. I can’t say this will be a regular working spot, but I was impressed with the space, service, concept, and options. I would definitely bring some friends here for coffee and beers.

Wow this place is cool. 25+ beers on tap and their cold brew is «smooth velvet» as the bartender/barista describes. It was exactly that. Their beers are mainly from the west coast. Did I mention there is a sectioned off study room and work tables, German style benches, and a bike shop all in one?! They have mango IPA at 7% and their cold brew on nitrogen. Although there are a lot of people coming in and out, this place remains quiet — people are respectful of others working here and it seems like that’s the mantra. Street parking is available, or parking garage at $ 4/hour if it’s crowded!

I feel like an asshole being the jerk to downgrade this place, what with all their good works and and and, but c’mon! It was ascetic and sterile enough to offer a gynecological exam. Where’s the heart? And no, I don’t mean the one feeding babies in Kamchatka.

Talk about a great location, cool concept and equally friendly staff! Always filled with awesome people, seating is easy and their lattes and cold brew coffee on nitro are out of this world. After noon, they serve beer on tap. They always have 20+ unique and delicious beers on tap that are extremely affordable, and help a good cause. Stop by Miir, you’ll be surprised!

Miir or miir or on the wall… where’s the best place to get beer/coffee of them all? MIIR! HAHA. Miir is the perfect place to get work done, grab a casual drink, or just sit and enjoy the sun… with a beer(: Let’s break it down eh? People: This is really the best part of Miir. The baristas are all awesome, really welcoming and willing to chat. They’re really great people and they make the whole experience at Miir excellent. The staff is the reason I keep coming back Ambiance: Miir is an awesome place to chill out especially if there is sun because there are giant windows that let that sun shine in! The chairs are comfy, there are a good number of outlets and the design is chic with clean lines and minimalist design. Its pretty modern and really sleek. Beer: The beer selection is pretty great and the handles change every couple weeks. Come back and see whats new! If you need a suggestion ask the baristas, they have great advice. Pints are a good deal but growlers are a little more pricey Coffee: I like the coffee at Miir, but admittedly its a little acidic for my taste. The coffee is quality for sure but just not cup of… tea? haha(: Its still great coffee and I still order it often. Overall: Miir is the best and so long as its not super busy, its the best place to grab coffee in Fremont! Stay hungry and happy my friends!

Great space with bikes and brews! Both caffeinated and hopped! What is most appealing about Miir is it’s mission! To help provide access to clean water and bikes world wide. My husband and I have been fans from the first time we stepped into Miir. The first thing we noticed is the bikes(my hubby’s an avid cyclist, so he was already intrigued). As you walk into the space, the enormous counter is at the center and it encompasses the coffee shop, the rotating tap list is located to the right of the counter with the taps along the wall, and all the merchandise is throughout the store. There are usually around 20 taps, and they have a really diverse selection of taps, which is one of the reasons I love coming here. Most recently my hubs and I filled 2 growler with 2 Cali brewers: the Knee Deep Hoptologist IIPA and the Alpine Duet IPA. They also feature local brewers, such as Fremont and Cloudburst and Ciders, too. Each time we come in, it’s never the same. I also like the working space, they supply outlets, separate work spaces, a long communal table, couches, counters, a meeting space that can be reserved, and on nice sunny days, there are tables and chairs outside, too. So the gist is, if I drink then someone else less fortunate drinks clean water, at least that’s my take on it. Cheers!

A coffee shop with a philanthropic mission? Oh … I’m in love! A friend introduced me to MiiR and I was immediately drawn to them — I love what they do, the products that they make, and all of the non-profits they support and have supported(I bought something that supported RescueStrong( ) an animal rescue organization). The space itself was really clean, inviting and spacious. Not only do they sell coffee, but there’s plenty of beers on tap(!!) too so you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. There’s also fast free wifi, plenty of outlets and table spaces to hang out for a while. You can find all walks of life here: from business professionals on their laptops, moms and their trollers, tourists, bicyclists, etc. Everyone needs to take a trip here!

I pretty much really enjoyed my experience at this coffee shop. Parking is a little limited outside. If you’re planning on staying longer than 1 hour, you might have to circle around the neighborhoods to find no parking restricted area. The shop was pretty spacious. I was kind of confused as to where you order at first because there didn’t appear to be a definitive line. People just grouped up in the front waiting for their drinks. The barrista, however, directed us where to go. He was pretty nice. The woman who made our drinks overheard me debate with my friend on whether hemp milk or regular milk tasted good. The lady politely interjected and offered me to try their hemp milk because she said it tasted really good. I thought that was really nice, something that she didn’t have to do. Sometimes, barristas at the other coffee houses that I’ve been to will just mind their own business and ignore you. She went above and beyond by being friendly and provided great customer service in offering us to try something new. It was a small little sample. She later came by to clear all of our cups and asked if I enjoyed the hemp milk. I think throughout the experience, I felt like I was such a valued customer. I wasn’t just another faceless customer on the assembly line getting my drink. She really made me feel welcomed. The facility was a great place to study. I highly recommend it!

So glad my friend introduced me to this café! MiiR’s café space is sleek and modern, and it’s a really nice spot for working/studying. Most of the seats were taken when I visited on a Sunday afternoon, but it didn’t feel overcrowded or loud inside. Parking was okay on the weekend, but it was street parking. Once you order at the counter, you can either wait and pick it up there, or they will bring it to where you’re sitting. After you’re done, there’s a spot near the water dispenser where you can bus your used mugs, etc. They offer coffees, teas(I enjoyed my black tea latte!), beers, some pastries, and they also have some of their products(i.e., bottles, growlers, bicycles, clothing, etc) on display for sale. I really love that your drink purchases help build water projects, and you can track the impact of your product purchases. Would definitely come work/study here again, and try something else on their menu!

If you love coffee shops and beer, MiiR is the lovechild of both. We stopped in on our last morning in Seattle and decided to chill here a few hours before leaving for the airport. Where else would you be able to find a cold beer at 10am? :) They have a decent selection of local Seattle/WA beers, as well as a few other familiar names such as Ballast Point. Prices are decent, vibes are chill, and there are plenty of tables, couches, chairs, and plugs(on the floors – not only on the walls!) for your electronics as well. If you prefer coffee in the AM, they have that too. They carefully make everyone’s coffee and bring it out to wherever you’re sitting. Loved the décor & their growlers also. I left wishing CA was just as chill with their growler fill laws so I could’ve picked one up to take home but oh well. Only gripe may be parking in the area. Most are 1 or 2 hour spots on the street which makes it difficult if you’re planning to camp out at a coffee/beer shop for a bit longer.

Pretty awesome shop full of both my loves: Coffee and Beer. This store is located near Gasworks and Fremont Brewery, marked by its clean and fresh décor and plentiful seating arrangements throughout its inside and a few tables located outside at the storefront. There’s even a room in the back that can be reserved if you’re in need of a venue to host a meeting or small event. They have a large selection of beers on tap and plenty of water bottles, growlers and other traveling cups available for purchase. They also have bicycles and bags for sale here as well! Visited in the evening and it was still humming with energy, people studying or working, cyclists stopping by for a drink, and groups wandering around looking at all the Miir merchandise. The bathroom also has a shower, which was pretty cool! I’m not sure how one goes about requesting access to it because I did not need a shower at that time, but staff was friendly and I’m sure they would explain how that works! I don’t think there was a parking garage available; we found street parking around the area.

: FORTHEWORKERBEES : Free wifi: yes! Work friendly: yes! Made for us! Comfy seats: Moderate. They have all types. From benches to metal stools to sofas and meeting room in the back. Noise level: quiet. I could take calls here. Lighting: bright natural lighting. Interior style: super clean and modern. Sterile but they have splashes of colors and accents that makes the space really inviting. Outlet Access: Great. I have only been here once but it was love at first sight! Gotta go because it’s way more than just a coffee shop.

Amazeballs!!! All around. But wait, there’s more… it’s all for a GOODCAUSE. I am in LOVE. I’m going to become a regular I’ve decided. :) Yes you heard that right, every tumbler, growler, coffee mug, etc purchased all provide clean water for one year for someone. .and you get to track exactly where it goes via a super cool app that’s linked to the purchase tag. And their stuff is super high quality, sleekly designed, and really does keep your coffee hot and water cold(I’ve had a Miir water bottle for a little while and it’s the best bottle I’ve ever had at keeping something cold!!). I don’t know about you but if I’m going to to spend some moolah somewhere I might as well spend some moolah at an awesome place that gives back to the community and people in neeed. It’s really a no brainer. Ok well just because they’re a good company yada yada… do they really measure up? Oh yes they do. Atmosphere is seriously cool. .like, I feel not quite hip enough to step in there… yet welcomed :) it’s super airy, modern, bright, and clean. There’s great outdoor seating and plenty of outlets inside for those that read or work. There’s even a community meeting room!!!(Sorry don’t mind all my exclamation marks…) Staff is really low key yet genuinely friendly and helpful, willing to answer questions and just plain nice/cool. They seem to have fun with each other and their customers. The coffee is great. That’s all I tried but I assume given great coffee other stuff will be good… they have a huge selection of beers(I’m not a beer gal but the names of the different selections sound super fun and tasty!), some cool looking coffee/milk combos, tea, and some yummy looking snacks from cool companies :) The music selection was super fun tonight as they had an event going on with prizes and giveaways… it was throwback to the 90s/2000s :) They even sell bikes and gear, cool shirts and sweaters etc. Basically a place that welcomes café-goers and bar-hoppers alike is pretty sweet in my book :) Will definitely be back and you should all check it out too! :) support a great cause! :)

Absolutely blown away! I heard about MiiR a year or so ago and fell in love with the product line and the mission. Then just last week I heard that MiiR was opening a local flagship store and had to pop by and check it out ASAP. But what I didn’t know to expect was that more than just a retail store for MiiR products(bikes, water bottles, coffee cups, beer growlers, etc) is that they’re also an amazing coffee shop and beer bar! While it was an unexpected yet awesome discovery, it also made perfect sense. If you sell drinking vessels for beer, water, coffee, etc — why not allow people to test the vessels out right at the store with great quality coffee and beer? Right as you enter the shop you approach the café space which consists of high quality espresso machines and a massive wall of beer taps. Located in the center of a store there’s also a water tap much like you find in airports. So you can pop by, shop, and fill up for the road! The vibe is much more of a community coffee house or growler filling station than it is a retail space. In fact, there’s no in-your-face marketing efforts to push MiiR products if you just want a hot or cold beverage. So even if you’re not up for the challenge of spending $ 25 on a water bottle, you can buy a coffee or a beer and still support MiiR’s mission at a much more approachable cost. You can even bring in your own growler(non-MiiR) and they’ll fill it with beer. But definitely check out the growlers they have because they’re better than a plain glass growler. These are vacuum sealed and can keep your beer fresh and cold for daaaays. And who doesn’t want an insulated, double-walled, vacuum sealed water bottle? As I was shopping for a bottle I got a nice little lesson in how the bottles were made and what impact I could personally make by purchasing a bottle for myself. So here’s the data: Each purchase of a bottle provides one person in need with clean drinking water for one year! How cool is that? And each MiiR bottle comes with a unique impact code that lets you see where its corresponding water project has been developed. The code can be found on a wearable bracelet inside the bottle. Once you register your code, MiiR sends GPS coordinates and photos of the water project your purchased helped build. I love that you don’t just feel good about participating in a greater cause, you end up with proof of what your purchase did and where your money went. So yeah… they sell coffee and beer, they have free WIFI so you can hang out(not shop) and just get some work done, or you can check out their wall of amazing products. I’m in the market for a new bike for my fiancé and I’m thinking MiiR is the way to go. They’re affordable, they’re local, and if you buy one they donate a MiiR bike to someone in need. Incredible! PS — They have kids bikes and if you buy a kid’s bike they donate a bike to a child! Sold, sold, sold. I’m all about this place.
