The donuts were super fresh and lighter than I expected. The staff was super nice and made sure I had the freshest donuts – they were still warm! I still pledge my allegiance to Top Pot, but these were yummy too! These make for a nice treat after a Green Lake run :)

Can’t believe I didn’t find Seattle’s vegan donut experts sooner. Everything is vegan in this store. A neighborhood gem.

mighty-o’s… Mighty-go there and try it ASAP. Every flavor is cheap, yummy and you wouldn’t even know it’s VEGAN!

Nice selection. The cake doughnuts are crispy on the outside & perfectly fluffy on the inside. The space offers great window seating. I’d recommend the apple fritter for the fresh chunks of green apple, though it seems like any of their doughnuts would be satisfying.

We came in on a rainy day. I just bought a half dozen donuts and coffee then sat with my friends at the counter over looking outside. As I ate my peanut butter chocolate donut along with my medium roasted drip coffee I looked outside and just knew today was a beautiful day! Regardless of how gloomy it is this donut shop is able to make just about anyone happy. These donuts had the right amount of sweetness, combined with the warmness of the coffee, enough to change any bad mood. Not only that but the donut guy was the nicest, friendliest donut guy I’ve met, I wish I got his name to write in these review. He was very humble and cheery even gave me some stickers. The music they played was soothing and relaxing, made my visit that much pleasant. I had a few leftover donuts to take home but I still think I should of gotten a dozen.

French toast and raspberry are their top two sellers. I’m loyal to house of doughnuts since I’m from 253, so I compare all doughnuts to this establishment customer service is excellent and so are the happy hour prices. Happy hour: ½ off doughnuts. Ended up trying lemon poppy seed, chocolate, French toast, and they were delicious! Ordered raspberry to go for Dh. Terrific. There are punch cards available for those ordering by the dozen. Desirable location and convenient free parking nearby. Doughnuts before or After a jog on greenlake, why not?

I like to hit this shop up sometimes on Monday morning on my way to work. The staff here is always super friendly and apologetic if they happen to be out of the donut I want. So obviously the donuts are always amazing and the coffee is great too. The option of xylatol for my coffee is awesome as I have yet to find any other places that offer it.

I’ve had samples of Mighty-O Donuts before during a fun run and couldn’t quite fully appreciate how wonderful they were. Now that I’m vegan, I’m always finding excuses to eat any vegan junk food(Oreos! Dark Chocolate!). My room mate brought home a little box(4 — maple, original glazed, chocolate glazed, and cinnamon sugar) to share for a morning treat and gave me first pick! Nothing says«I love you» more than a box of Mighty-Os. The donuts were appreciatively crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The glaze wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet nor was the cinnamon sugar too cloying. The maple bar was melt-in-your-mouth soft and the maple glaze tasted pretty legit. I did find the fried-taste of the donut pretty prominent though… nothing that can’t be balanced out with coffee.

My absolute fave doughnut place! We are big into clean eating/veg food and these are the only doughnuts I really ever want to eat. The French toast, vanilla sprinkle, chocolate frosted, coffee, cinnamon are our go-tos. We’ve been coming here for 10 years and they’ve never disappointed! We stop by with our kids a lot, so I love that they have the little kids activity table in the back. Great cold brew and lemonade during summer too!

For Vegan donuts these are great; compared to regular donuts, they are pretty good. My favorite is their seasonal Pumpkin Spice. These are dense cake donuts but pretty flavorful. The guys at the counter are always sweet to my little one who is obsessed with getting stickers from their store.

Mighty-O has been my favorite donut shop ever since I moved to Greenlake. Better than Voodoo & Blue Star in Portland… Better than Hawaiian tiny donuts… And better than Top Pot. The seasonal flavors are great. I love the apple spice in fall. They do cute designs for seahawks season too. Best of all they’re vegan so that means less saturated fat than any other donut. Only down side is they’re expanding to other parts of town so now it’s not Greenlakes best kept secret anymore :)

I had never had a vegan dessert until trying Mighty-O donuts and it confirmed my reasons for avoiding them. They were also pricey. I ordered the French Toast donut and Chocolate Peanut Butter donut. The French Toast basically tasted like nothing. The flavor was one step up from what I imagine cardboard tastes like. The Choc/PB had a little more flavor, like flour and a bit of sugar, but wasn’t good by any means. They had samples on the counter and I ate one before asking what flavor it was. Once the server told me, I couldn’t match up the flavor because it didn’t taste like anything.

You know when you bite into a donut and the outside is crispy, so you know it’s freshly made? That’s what you get at Mighty-O. That crispiness is important to me. Full disclosure: I’ve stopped buying Mighty-O donuts at other coffee shops, because they’re not as fresh. I recommend going to the Mighty-O shop itself. They specialize in cake donuts — dense and tender and not ridiculously sweet. Well, some of the non-standard donuts are hit and miss. I had a strawberry shortcake donut that was sickeningly sweet. But the standard glazed, chocolate top, cinnamon sugar, and plain donuts are consistently delicious. Also, I highly recommend the lemon poppyseed. Mighty-O is very affordable for Seattle. Especially if you take advantage of their Bicycle Benefits deal: buy-one-get-one-free. Quality donuts at a low price — I give them five stars.

Totally surprised with this donut. I was expecting a dense — kinda dry type donut but it was moist and light. Very good — Job Well done. A place for families. Pets OK outside — there are chairs(no tables).

UPDATED — Still my favorite donut shop. Just not happy with current service and prices. Donuts are now $ 2.50?! Not any real deal if you buy a dozen?! Meaning it costs me almost $ 30 for a dozen??? I purchased two chocolate donuts with nuts on them today and it cost me $ 5. The only reason I purchased those two was because it was those donuts or plain donuts with glaze. Granted it was 200 so I understand the selection was going to be limited but that was pathetic. Next I wanted to buy vita coffee. The coffee they had out was 2 weeks past the roast by date. They had fresher packages in the back but refused to give them to me when I asked. Needless to say, not a fun experience today. A star is being docked for crappy service and high prices.

My favorite vegan donuts in the world. Mighty O specializes in cake donuts, and they do them very well. Today I tried the regular glazed, which was the best donut I have ever eaten. Moist and not overly sweet, with very rich vanilla flavor. My cold brew toddy was also delicious. I find the prices here to be very reasonable. They don’t accept Amex-MasterCard and Visa only! I love coming to Mighty O whenever I am in Seattle. You must try this place, whether you are vegan or not.

Interesting location — it’s wedged in the middle of a residential area but not a bad walk from the U-District(I recommend going when it’s not sweltering hot outside however!) I had one bite of the french toast donut at a friend’s and knew I had to come try more, which is why I braved the heat to walk all the way here. I would recommend checking Mighty-O out at 4PM because all their donuts that they have left are half off! There was a huge selection when I was there, probably around 5 large boxes filled with all sorts. I honestly don’t know what types I ordered because the guy was in a hurry to get me to leave it seemed like(service is meh. but on a hot day near close, whatever) so I just kind of pointed at what looked good to me. The french toast donut was still my favorite after trying a few others. I liked the taste of the coffee one but the grounded coffee on top was weird while chewing. Not crazy sweet like Voodoo because there is limited frosting but the texture is a lot more cakey. If you like lighter textured donuts like Krispy Kreme, you might not like these. All in all, I’m surprised that vegan donuts could taste so good — I was incredibly skeptical at first. I still prefer traditional donuts and I like more glaze on my donuts, despite how sickeningly sweet they can be. These are unique and fun to try, but if I went again I would only go when they are half off probably. They don’t stay fresh for long, by the next day they were quite stale on the outside already. And they are excessively oily, I had to throw out the box after a few hours because it was completely soaked… yikes.

I’m not generally one that runs straight toward the«organic» local ingredients type stuff — but I was quite impressed with Mighty-Os doughnuts. I was a little hesitant thinking they would lack the sugar overload flavor I love but it turns out they are quite flavorful and dense. I tried several of their flavors, and the French toast was my favorite. There are tables inside to enjoy the snack there along with espresso drinks you can order as well. It was clean and friendly staff. Good think to know — if you’re not looking for a full on big doughnut, they have little«dinky doughnuts» too so you can get a couple bite sized ones to test out different flavors!

Overall, Mighty-O rounds up to 3.5 stars. For vegan donuts, these are actually pretty good! I saw the good reviews and then realized that this place is vegan! At first I was skeptical since I tend to love my butter, eggs, and milk to make sweet goodies. I’ve never had a vegan donut before so I was pretty excited to try. The place has some tables inside as well as some tables outside. The donuts are all decently priced around 1.50−2.50 depending on the kind. If you come after 4 pm, the donuts are reduced in price! There were more than 8 flavors to choose from when my partner and I came by so we decided to go for the nutty French toast and the chocolate glazed. We also took a vanilla glazed home with us. I ordered a chai tea latte to go with my donuts. Nutty French toast — I loved the peanuts on top of this! They didn’t skimp on the rolled nuts and I liked the added flavor and texture. The actual donut itself was surprisingly soft and cakey inside. These donuts are on the denser side so if you’re looking for pockets of fluff and air, you probably won’t find it in a vegan donut. However, I didn’t find the denseness to be overly heavy, but I was satisfied after having half of two donuts. This one had a nice cinnamon, nutty flavor to it and the glaze wasn’t overly sweet. The donut itself actually didn’t have an «it’s too sweet my stomach hurts» kind of feel, so I enjoyed that aspect. Chocolate glaze — I liked how this donut also wasn’t overly sweet. But this donut did lack the rich chocolate flavor. I don’t even think I got a chocolate flavor when I bit into this one. If you’re a chocolate lover, this will probably disappoint you. It’s way too subtle. This has the same soft, cakey but slightly dense inside as the previous. Vanilla glaze — You would think that since the others didn’t have an overly sweet taste to them, that this one would follow suit. However, this donut was much sweeter than the other two. I couldn’t eat much of this one because I was feeling sweetened out. The glaze seemed sweeter as well as the donut. It did have a nice vanilla flavor to it though and was still soft and cakey. Chai tea latte — Not a huge fan of the chai tea latte, but this place specializes in donuts, not coffee and tea. It’s rare for me to say, but this chai was not sweet enough. I actually wanted it to have a bit more sugar to combine the flavors better. I got more of a bitter spice flavor. The pricing seems fair and standard. We paid less than $ 10 for it all. For vegan donuts, these were good. The people are nice and patient and let you sample whichever one you want. I think I may stick to regular donuts unless I’m craving something a bit more dense.
