I tried to go here today…& couldn’t find it to save my life. I’m pretty sure it’s closed. I was really looking forward to trying the bulgogi wrap :(

Walking around the market place, we happened to bump into this. There was a line and this lady bought a bunch of the bbq on a stick, she said they were good. I mean, they looked good. We ended up getting two plus a spam musubi. We took it to go for us to eat the next day since we were stuffed. If you’re looking for a quick Asian food, this is the place. YummyYumYum !

We got the Polish Hot dog with kimchee and wow, best hot dog I ever had! Not just that but service was quick and very friendly! The boyfriend agrees! 4 thumbs up, 10 stars!

I have only gotten one dish here ever, but I’ve gotten it dozens of times as part of my regular food walks in the market. The amazing dish is their sliced kielbasa on a stick. It turns a regular walk around the market into the greatest pedestrian travel experience in Seattle. As you bite into the juicy porkiness during your stroll, the sun gets brighter, the crowds get prettier, and the fish smells better. It’s like a Popsicle. Made of kielbasa. Like.

Bi Bim Bap Burrito. Uhm YES! Why have more people not done this?! It was delicious. The service was fast, the staff was nice and helpful, it was in a relatively easy place to find within Pike’s Place. Cheap and delicious. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area for a quick bite to eat.

The one-two punch of Market Galbee and Chicken Valley always gets me. Grab and go Pike cuisine is what I need when I’m running errands at the Market. I don’t eat full meals here, I just buy a few things to snack on. The case is filled with a bunch of different skewers — pork skewers, gyoza skewers, chicken skewers, and more! They also have musubi here. Not the best I’ve had but again, when I want Spam, rice, and nori, it’s available quickly. I picked up some sesame chicken skewers on my last visit. It was fried well without being too crispy. It lacked seasoning but it does well in a pinch. Overall, it’s worth it for me to stop here from time to time.

I don’t understand why this place doesn’t have more reviews! We tried the Kim chi wrap and BBQ pork skewer and both were really yummy. The Kim chi wrap has spicy pork and it was a nice building heat and was super tasty! The skewer was a little hard to eat but still tasted yummy. The emo was really nice and gave us a lot of food. Well come back before we leave town.

My friend and I were craving Korean food and stumbled upon Market Galbee inside Pike Place. Great location and really nice people who run the joint. Like it says, it’s Korean«fusion» so don’t expect it to be authentic Korean food. My mistake. I wanted something with hot soup but they didn’t have any so the owner suggested ddukbokki– rice cakes in spicy sauce. I ended up not enjoying this… the sauce had too much ketchup(this is normal ingredient in ddukbokki do not be alarmed lol) and was too sweet. There is a layer of rice under, which my friend thought tasted better with the sauce. Maybe the other items taste better. Or maybe it’s meant to taste more. Americanized? Not sure, but one thing for sure is that this is not authentic Korean food.

This review is only for their spam musubi and their staff! I stop here every time i’m in Seattle by Pike’s Market for my fix! The staff is very friendly, their service is very quick, and their musubi is yummy! It is right next to the fish throwers. Swing by, enjoy a snack or a meal!

After being overwhelmed by the choices of food, my mom and I were looking for something cheap, quick and delicious. We were drawn in by the skewers but ended up getting the market bimbibap. It was a bit overpriced compared to what I was use to but hey this is pike’s place right? The food didn’t seem to healthy either, the quality is comparable to Chinese fast food.

This place is different from the other seafood places in Pike Place which is cool. I had the market wrap with tofu instead of meat. This thing is huge! I had to cut it in half and eat it for two meals but hey, you can’t complain about the prices when you combine it with the portion size! This was quite flavorful and tasty. I like how its like an Asian spin on a buritto and its something you can eat while walking around the market. There’s a ton of vegetables and he was very accommodating about putting tofu in my sandwich. I would come back if I wanted a sandwich or Asian food while persuing the market.

Had the Bulgoki which came in a carry out container with sections of rice, kimchi, and salad underneath the Bulgoki/onions. I wasn’t a fan of the salad with dressing being under the hot meat, but otherwise it was great. Their kimchi was finely shredded, which I am not used to, but it was really good. Lots of meat in the serving which was 10 or 11 dollars, so a pretty good deal for the market. Also had a mango smoothie with mango jellies. The smoothie was a tiny bit powdery at points. If it had been as good as the food this would have been 5 stars.

This place is located right in the heart of Pike Place Market and specializes in great Korean food and snack items that are all perfect to grab and go while browsing the market. I haven’t tried a whole lot of their available options, but I regularly pick up a spicy chicken and/or kielbasa skewer to munch on. They also have bubble tea, lemonade, and other beverages to keep you going. The staff here does a great job of working through the lines as fast as they can, even during the busiest times. I wouldn’t say there is anything that really stands out as being exemplary, but compared with other similar places in the market, I prefer to go here over anywhere else.

I came to this place for the first time about 2 years ago and I LOVED the orange chicken on a stick. Every time I’m in downtown Seattle, I ALWAYS come here to get the Orange Chicken. It is just AMAZING. However, the reason for 4 and not 5 stars is because the price went up a bit, service went down. Also. there is a bit of inconsistency with the quality of the meat. A few times I went and the meat tasted a bit dry… :( But overall, I HIGHLY recommend this place… so quick to order, pretty cheap, sauce is really good!

We were walking around Pike Market in the morning/early afternoon one day. After sampling all the honey and jam products, had croissants at La Panier, and were still feeling hungry. There, we spotted the meet kabobs at Market Galbee on the way to Rachel the Pig, three of us looked at each other, and our eyes sparkled, «we just gotta have one of each» So we ended buying three or four of them. The meat was very yummy. Wow! What a nice little Asian touch to the American traditional market!

I am starting to think that I don’t like Korean food in general… This place is a stand in the middle of Pike Place Market which was surprisingly not very busy on a hot summer day. The people working there were very sweet and VERY quick with their service. I had the kimchee spicy pork bi bim bap rice bowl which came with kimchee, pork, egg, rice, and spinach. It didn’t come with very much pork at all which was disappointing. And for some reason, everything tasted like spicy seaweed but I didn’t see any in there. Everything was super spicy(hence the spicy pork) — it was OK but just not great. Everything else here looks really good — I think that I just ordered badly. I’d definitely come back to try something else the next time.

I was in the market and thought I would give them a try. I am married to a Korean who is an incredible cook, so I know what Korean food should taste like. The fried rice was old and greasy. The Kalbi was tough and hard to eat it was so sweet. No idea how this place has an average of 4 stars.

z0mg! Delicious food and I want to make the walk back here again during lunch break and try m-m-m-m-more! The elder lady is so sweet like your favorite grandma. Friendly, warm and charming! The menu looks SO good. See pics. Unfortunately there’s no where to sit down and enjoy it, so best take it with you to find a place, or, if working, back to the office. Yum. Fresh. Delicious. Charming.

Why did I not find this place sooner?! I took my brother’s gf to the market and she spotted this place while roaming around. I usually walk around here on a weekly basis so I was pretty surprised with her discovery. Everything on their menu seems good and we settled on splitting their kimchee wrap with bulgogi. The wrap consisted of fried rice, kimchee, a little bit of egg, marinated spinach and of course, bulgogi in a wheat tortilla. Make sure you have a bunch of napkins because the bulgogi is pretty juicy(which is a good thing!). For only eating half a wrap, I was pretty satisfied since they’re pretty generous with their fillings. I’ll be bringing visitors to this place from now on.
