Not a bad little buffet. Salad, fruits, veggies, some Asian deli type foods egg rolls, lower end sushi, kind of a smörgåsbord but good variety and everything seemed fresh. it is next to Umma’s.‘they go by weight

I love the business model of pay-by-the-pound. The layout is simple and easy to follow. The location is perfect. The food is always fresh and tastes great. It’s a lunch spot for work — it doesn’t need to be memorably-tasty or upclass. It does its job extremely well. I eat here at least a few times a week; sometimes lunch, sometimes breakfast.

I LOVETHISPLACE… I really recommend this place. Everything it goes by weight $ 6.89 per pound. It is very Good Price and SO Fresh and SO DeliCious. There are various kinds of food. I love avocado salad and tuna pasta and baked salmon and steam vegetable and crispy green beans and spicy chicken teriyaki and yakisoba noodles are so tasty good. Meatballs, fried mushroom and chicken fingers strips are also my favorite too… kkk They are also serving breakfast … I like Organic steel cut oatmeal and vegetable scrambled eggs and they have fresh baked bacon and hash brown potatoes and french toast and waffles and bisquick with sausage gravy and banana bread with walnut and cranberry. And I can make my own delicious fancy yogurt with various healty fruits and dried toppings… I useally pay under $ 5 for breakfast and $ 7 for lunch. I think it is really reasonable price. If you really like heavy one like rice, ask to staff for discount !! two ladies are kind, sweet and friendly. Sometimes I enjoyed the HAPPYHOUR when I miss the lunch time on busy day. Happy hour price is going down $ 4.29. It is a big deal. But I prefer to go at 11am. It is a perfact time. NO Lines and Super fresh and more Tasty ! And I like the reward store card for 5% bonus when I reload. It is so fast and handy!

Came here for lunch shortly before I considered jumping off a tall tower due to jury duty. Market Fresh having fried shrimp played an enormous part in my staying sane that afternoon. Great selection of veggies for a salad, including many types of meats, legumes, greens, veggies… and a good selection of hot food too! Everything is fresh and tasty, and people wouldn’t hate salads so much if they learned to take advantage of the different varieties of ingredients. Only drawback is the price.

Amazing place. I’ve been a customer for years and the owners continually produce great quality foods. The food is so good here, for both breakfast and lunch. They make everything fresh daily so you’re guaranteed to have great quality food for a decent price. I love how customizable my meal is. They have a variety of fruits and veggies in their dishes, tastefully garnished and dressed with homemade sauces to keep my body nourished and satisfied throughout the day. My favorite for breakfast is their egg cup and their toppings bar, which you can top either your oatmeal, French toast or waffles with. They also have all the classic continental breakfast items and at a good price and great quality. For lunch, I love being able to customize my own salad to my own liking. They always have fresh, great tasting fruit, an amazing chicken salad(I love topping my salad with this stuff), and a variety of seasoned veggies that my taste buds absolutely love. Tip:the best time to come for lunch is a little after they’ve put out all their lunch items as the food is the most fresh and nothing has run out yet. However if you do come near closing they have happy hour where you get food for half the price, so that’s nice. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone!

Great selection on the salad bar. Everything looks fresh and well stocked. The price per lb was very reasonable. Choice of salad, meatball, salmon, and Asian food on the salad bar. Needs a little more seating. Located in lower level of building and busy with local office workers. …A party of 1 takes a table that seats 4 and spreads out. Kinda rude people! Will definitely return!

I come here frequently in the morning for the bacon and the egg in a ham cup. I can get 5 strips of bacon, the egg cup, and some berries usually for around 3 dollars! Lunch is tasty as well, my favorite dishes being the sweet potato noodle, the chicken teriyaki, and the hot wings. I like this place because it is quick and everything has tasted the same since I first tried it about a year ago. My only suggestion is updating the menu every so often with a few new dishes to keep the selection interesting.

Great salad/hot food bar downtown. $ 6.89/lb is a good price and the food is fresh. They also have a great breakfast option that is served until 10am.

Great salad bar. I think it’s $ 6.99-$ 7.99 a pound. It has some basic salad ingredients, fresh vegetables & fruits and American-Asian food(orange chicken, pot stickers, tempura). I can usually get a huge serving of vegetables + salmon for about $ 4 so I am pleased. Be careful as it is by the pound! Lovely seating area outside, including a waterfall in the summer months.

I needed a quick lunch and stumbled across this place. The food was hot fresh and not too expensive. But remember that it is easy to rack up the cost as it is by weight. Some chicken dishes had become very soft because of constant cooking.

Flavorsome. Mouth-Watering. Ambrosial. Fulfilling. Yummy. Those are some of the words that come to mind when I visited Market Fresh(Rainier Square) last week for lunch. Oh my, what can I say about this place. The food here is top-notch, fresh, and from my experience, delectable. One thing that I like about their food is the variety. There is a wide variety offered(salads, lots of vegetables(I love their kale!), salmon!, chicken wings, meatballs(these are amazing!), sushi, asian food, american food, etc.) which allows for meal options to your heart’s(or stomach’s) content. All this variety of food not only appeals to my stomach but also to my eye. Epicures like to tout that food is not only a feast for your stomach, but also your eyes. Well, this place is it. The combination of savory, mouth-watering scents with the vibrant and crisp colors of the food(the green/red/orange/red/gold/purple of the vegetables, meats, grains and fruits) really fills the spectrum of appetite. I also appreciate the kind staff that works there. They are prompt and friendly. I was unfamiliar with this whole dining experience, but the ladies in front gladly provided assistance and helped me figure it all out! Overall Experience: Five Stars. Being a self-serve by the pound place, Market Fresh offers healthy, delicious food that is also affordable and quick. The Rainier Square Market Fresh is a great place to eat and I will be visiting here often. Also, on a last note, I believe that they are also open for breakfast. If I am ever in the area around that time, I will definitely come here to try it out.

Your typical buffet line business. However, I’m always been a fan of Market Fresh for its fresh servings. I can’t verify at the moment, but the per pound rate here might be less than the one Market Fresh in Bellevue so that is plus. If your looking for something quick and place that can give you a little everything, I suggest trying this place out! The rating is placed because in comparison to the phenomenal places surrounding the area, but lets face it your not going here for the 5 star lunch. Your going because of the convenience and verity factor. Also its located in the walkway tunnel between the Union towers and Rainer Plaza. GU Approved!

I only went here because Ummas Lunch Box was closed today. I got a little bit of everything(noodles, rice, beef, chicken, and fried shrimp). It was honestly a waste of my money and I really regret eating here. Everything just tasted bad and I had to force myself to keep eating because I was hungry. After finishing eating I passed other restaurants such as Mod Pizza and I really regretted not eating somewhere else. Definitely not going back…

My hubby and I are visiting Seattle and trying to stick to our Paleo diet and I have to say that from price, options and taste perspective, this place was a win-win-win all around. The food was fresh, delicious, and the staff friendly and the setting is casual but very clean and well-maintained. I would go back and eat here again. The salmon was delicious and I loved all the vegetable options, especially the Brussels sprouts.

I’m afraid to write my truly five star review, because then the lines will just be longer. This place is awesome for cheap, healthy options in downtown. I usually get a small salad from the salad bar, Calif roll or shrimp tempura rolls, three pieces of salmon and fruit. They have tons more options, fried shrimp, meatballs, lasagna, all fresh and delicious. And for a great price and no tip. Spend over $ 10 and you get a complimentary soda pop. Win win win.

Nasty! I was just there 15 minutes ago and saw one of the staff(a gentlement I have not seen there before) and he put his hands directly into the bin of eggs on the salad bar and grabbed two of them… Next, he went behind the buffet(where there are no sneeze guards) and he served himself a meal and went to the common area to eat and then went back to behind the buffet and served himself second and third portions with his dirty plate.

The flavour of the roast beef provolone sandwhich was good. Staff was friendly enough even at the lunch hour rush. I would say I was a bit disappointed at the lack of meat on the sandwhich. I think you get more meat at subway and it is a bigger sandwhich(foot long) and its only 5.00 vs 8.95. The bread was very good. I can’t say I will never eat there again. Just not worth the money.

Their greens are good. Carrots are dry. Tomatoes are robotic. Green beans are scrumptious, as is the tofu with seaweed.

Working close by, this place is perfect for that last minute«oh, I forget my lunch and don’t know what to have» days. The staff is very friendly, and I believe it is also family run. LOTS of veggies to choose from, great cold salad options.(I always make a HUGE salad here cuz the veg is so fresh) Feeling like hot food? They have that covered, too! I am a sucker for the butterflied fried shrimp and Japanese chicken curry… the sauce is yummy! But their spicy teriyaki chicken and salmon are also good… DON’T forget, it’s by the POUND and it is easy to start jamming in a lot of «heavy» food.(Hello meatballs…) They started serving breakfast as well… and the oatmeal options are fantastic! Don’t over so it on the sausage patties and links. Remember… Meat is heavy.
