I am on a personal mission to try as many croissants as I can, and Tracy’s are by far the best I have found. They are always fresh and often still warm from the oven. I recommend the ham and brie croissant if it is available – and I don’t even like brie. Her juices are also wonderful. She usually lists four or five different options, but she is happy to mix you a juice with whatever ingredients she has. I have yet to be disappointed and doubt I will be. Finally, Tracy is just a friendly person. She is the kind of person you want to see on Saturday or Sunday morning. She does the juice and pastry shop in addition to her day job simply because she loves it and it clearly shows. She has been a great addition to the Wallingford community.

I am an infrequent Unilocaler, but my passion for this place has brought me back to write a review: This place is AMAZING. I am a baked good connoisseur, having been to all the main bakeries in Seattle(and other pop-up bakeries), including Crumble and Flake. In my opinion, this place is better than Crumble and Flake! The croissants are the best I’ve ever had in my life. They have the perfect crunchiness and wonderful buttery, chewy layers. Each time I go the menu is different, and everything I’ve tried has been wonderful. These are the freshest pastries I’ve ever had — sometimes they’re even still warm when I get them!

This is a really fantastic place. Every weekend we’re fortunate enough to make it in, we find a tremendous collection of delectable sweet and savory treats. The pastries are every bit as good as anything else I’ve had in Seattle(take note, area Scandinavian and French bakeries) and the selection is always a wonderful surprise. In general, my palate shies away from sweet options, so the the caramelized onion and gruyère brioche and her indescribably delicious and flaky croissants are perfect for me. I’ve also been tempted and delighted by fruit filled pastries and the occasional macaroon, which I’ve never found to be too sweet. As if the pastries weren’t enough, Marcella’s also has some really spectacular juice options. I adore the kale, apple, and mint juice most but also really like the carrot, orange, ginger and turmeric for a bit of a kick.

Tracy makes the best pastries in the world. The savory onion rolls are unbelievable, and Tracy has been keeping it seasonal with strawberry rhubarb croissants. The juice makes you feel alive after a night of(imbibing.) Get breakfast here, then get lunch at satay.
