Maestro Motors

I’ve been going here for years and I’m consistently loving the work they do. I try to bring trays of cookies or other tasty treats because I almost feel bad for how little they ask for their excellent work!

This place was great! They are honest and they go the extra mile and they made me feel like I could ask questions without feeling like I was going to be ripped off.
I took my car in for something cosmetic and ended up leaving with a place I’ll take my car forever. Thank you!!!

They aren’t just awesome mechanics, they are awesome people! I could not say enough to express how much I appreciate Richard, Reema and the staff here. They are honest, personable and incredibly helpful. I know pretty much nothing about cars and I recently purchased an old wrangler. I’ve since been to Maestro twice. They fixed the first problem and it was way less of a cost an issue than I had predicted it would be! The second visit was to have them look over the car before a big road trip to Montana. They clearly explained everything they did and wrote down notes of what to monitor on the road trip and what kind of coolant to buy and even showed me where to fill it. Helped me figure out what I needed to purchase to lift my car and change a flat (those tools were missing when I bought the car). They were genuinely concerned about my well being and wanted me to have a great trip! I love the people here so much, I’m ready to ask them to be the god parents of my future children! 5 million stars to Maestro!

You guys– they are worth driving 30 miles for to get your car worked on. Richard and his entire team are INCREDIBLE! You will be a customer for life. My battery died Wednesday night and AAA told me to take it to an automotive place, because I didn’t want to pay their insane rates for on the road service… it was after hours, and I dropped my car off at Maestro and literally forgot to call them in the morning to tell them why I had dropped it off. They called me, told me they figured out it was a battery issue, and replaced it for 50% cheaper than what AAA quoted me! Without me even asking! Yay for amazing small businesses! And for making my life so much easier! Love you guys!

Glad to say this place lived up to their reviews. Very polite, quick and reliable. I’m new to west seattle and definitely glad I found this place although I would prefer my car doesn’t break down :)

I was lamenting to a neighbor my lack of luck finding an honest local mechanic. He said «You should see Richard at Maestro Motors! He’s honest and he’s reasonably priced.»
A few months later, I noticed a small oil leak on my 2003 Mercury Marauder. I took it to the dealer for some unrelated recall service and told them about the leak. They told me it was the oil pressure sending unit and charged me $ 70. Of course it didn’t stop the leak. Then I remembered what my neighbor told me about Maestro.
I made set up an appointment and dropped the car off a few days later. Richard called me after an hour or so and told me the oil filter gasket was leaking and it would take him a few days to get the part. After meeting Richard I got a really good vibe, so I told him I could wait. I brought the car by a week later and in two hours; I got a call from Richard’s assistant telling me the Marauder was done.
I got to the shop and the assistant (I didn’t catch her name) showed me the cracked gasket. I paid and was on my way.
Unfortunately, the car was acting funny. The heat would blow cold and then after a few minutes the temperature gauge would shoot up, come back down and then the heat would kick in. I called Richard and he said the problem was related to the work they had done because the coolant hoses go through the gasket. He told me the coolant probably was a bit low and there was an air bubble in the system.
I took the car back to Maestro and he started working his magic on my Marauder right away. Filling it, testing and even go so far as putting a rag on the coolant overflow reservoir and BLOWING THE AIR OUT OF THE SYSTEM WITH HIS MOUTH!
Needless to say the car works perfectly and there was no further charge.
I highly recommend Maestro Motors.

Best car shop ever! I recommend this place to everyone I know. They are honest and thoroughly explain to me what is wrong with my car so I understand.

I would give ten stars if I could. Finding a good, honest and reliable mechanic is harder than finding a doctor. Richard and his crew are excellent auto mechanics and interesting people. I have never been over charged, or had superfluous extra work added on to inflate a bill. They fix your car and charge what is fair: is there anything better than that?

Maestro Motors was great! Amy was very informative and helpful. They got my car fixed in a day and let me know everything wrong with my hunk of junk car. They are personable, friendly, informative, efficient, honest, and budget friendly.

Auto mechanics are hard for me to trust but this place is awesome. Richard is a good person and seems to really want to do what’s right. Last time we took the car in, it was making a horrendous noise in the front left wheel. The shop found something stuck in the brake assembly, cleaned it out and sent us on our way without trying to take our money for something we didn’t need.
Just try it and you won’t be sorry.

Dependable, caring, efficient, affordable — there aren’t enough adjectives to describe Maestro Motors! It’s the only place we go for our cars anymore. Love them!

I’ve been coming to Maestro Motors for many years now (at least 5) and have had nothing but fantastic experiences. Richard and his staff are highly competent and great to work with. I don’t have a lot of reference points, but I’ve always felt the prices for work ranging from check-​up maintenance to brake replacements are very reasonable.
More importantly, I’ve always been dealt with in a very upfront and candid way, which for a guy that doesn’t know a ton about car repairs, is very reassuring. I love it when businesses like Maestro Motors explain all your options, not just the expensive one, even though it may cost them money in the short-​run. To me, this is the definition of integrity and honesty, and is one of the major reasons I keep coming back here.
Okay, I’ll stop gushing, but really, Richard and his team are great; take your car to them the next time you need something!
