This is one of the first places in Seattle, I ever ate at. It’s a great little spot in the market. Everything is always really good, and Brian the owner usually gabs with the customers when its slow. It’s very chill and has a vibe thats inviting to both locals and tourists.

I came across this awesome spot when I was just wondering around and let me tell you, I’m glad I ran into it! I’m a sucker for Italian food. The special was the Meatball Sub so I had to order it! It was amazing! And the owner was such a good guy, got to talk to him for a bit. You can tell this guy loves his business, it shows in the food. Quality stuff. When I’m around again I will be back for more!

This place is damn good. The marinara was so fresh and so clean. Mix it with a little Alfredo sauce and it just blossoms in your mouth. This place is a must have while visiting Seattle.

Best meatball sandwich I’ve ever had! I loved everything about it. The customer service was great and it wasn’t a long wait either. So sad I can’t go here more often!

Meatball sub is so good it makes you cry. Bread is crispy yet soft — amazing. Sauce and cheese — perfect. Meatballs — sublime. Don’t miss it. Nearby chowder line is ridiculously long. They are missing the best meatball sub in the city. Owner, Brian, was so cool — easy conversation. Loved this spot.

Not sure why i didn’t discover this place earlier. It is kind of a hidden gem in a alley way above pike place market. I had the spaghetti and meatballs which was extremely rich in flavor and the meatballs where really great! The side salad was amazing. I like how mozzarella was served on top of the salad. Garlic Bread was delicious. Seating can be hard to get, but trust me it’s worth the wait! Don’t pass up this place! The people working there are nice and funny!

when I think of seattle… italian doesn’t really scream out to me, but when you have a sign that says voted best meatball parm sandwich, i’ve got to try it. it was strange… he crushed the meatball so it was no longer a meatball but meat crumbles. the gravy was ok nothing like back east, but the perfectly melted moozarel, light drizzle of pesto sauce, along with their garlic/butter italian bread,… made for one good toasty creamy sandwich. if it was an actual meatball they would’ve gotten 4 stars cause its a good take on a meatball parm. the meatball tasted like a mix of meat and pork and because it was baked before serving it had a sausge like flavor. it was very good but would’ve been better uncrushed to the bite.

I am a self confessed meatball sandwich lover and this is the best… EVER! My visit to pikes market was December 2014 and only now in Sept 2015 I have decided to write my review. I can’t stop thinking about this meatball sandwich. I didn’t even think I was going to have a meatball sandwich of all places Pikes market. But the sign that they have the best meatball sandwich in the city made me very curious as I am a self confessed expert in this field. As you can see from this pic they use a bread that is open faced and toasted just right. On top of the meatballs my meatball sandwich chef applied a generous portion of marinara sauce. Then he drizzled a layer of Alfredo sauce which he topped off with more marinara sauce. Then came a drizzle of pesto with the fresh Parmesan slices. Geez! No wonder I can’t find this anyplace else. I have even asked one other Italian restaurant to please add the drizzle of Alfredo but stopped short of asking for the pesto. If you don’t ask, you don’t get. It was good but fell way short of Lo Priore Bros, Pasta Bar. If you like meatball sandwiches, you gotta put this on your bucket list and definitely eat it there.

The menu doesn’t give all details about what the entrees entail, and it’s so busy the server acts too busy to spend any time clarifying. All three of us were disappointed to find the ravioli contained meat instead of cheese… and had pesto, which none of us asked for. When we said so, he said he had to charge us, but would give us cheese tortellini on the house. We asked for regular sauce no pesto… thinking he would give us the marina(like we had just gotten) with no pesto and we’d each have our own order. He brought one dish for all to share… with Alfredo sauce. If they are so bad at knowing what the customer wants, maybe spent 45 seconds w the customer to ask, not just«yell your order at me» as he is doing 10 other things. We spent about $ 40 for one edible dish, and truly nothing special. Save your time, there are much better places to eat in Pike Market.

Best meatball sandwich in town for a reason! They have really great marinara sauce that goes with the meatballs and they give you Parmesan and pesto as well, smothered on the sandwich. I got the meatball sausage combo and it was awesome. My friends at work kept coming back with this and eventually I made it here and I’m stoked to find this spot because it’s on the money 100%.

Right of the Pike’s Chowder Place is this place or rather, it’s a bar. You just sit at the bar and order whatever you want. Their meatball sub was the best except it was a little dry. If they can keep those balls moist, oh man, it’ll be the best meatball sub in the UNIVERSE. DOEET. Find a way to keep those baked meatballs juicy please and it’ll be a slam dunk.

Day tripped to Seattle over the weekend. My first time so we did the touristy thing… visited the Space Needle, walked the fish market and attempted to find something seafood-y for lunch. There was a line everywhere, and it was raining… So, my apologies to Seattle, but imma hafta try your chowder on my next trip. Found this little gem of a place, and it really is a little pasta bar. The guy behind the counter was singing us a tune, and he was very friendly… so we decided to stop and eat. There were 6 of us, and we managed to all find seats. Service was quick! I got the fettuccini alfredo(yes, I’m aware they have the«best» meatball subs. Vegetarian here, people… gimme a break) and it was decent enough. It wasn’t my best plate, but I was starving and we had trekked a long way… so I ate it up. Came with bread… and my mom and I split a salad. From what I could hear, my party really enjoyed the spaghetti with the sausage. My mom got both a meatball and sausage on her spaghetti… but she said the meatball was too garlicky for her. I wouldn’t know. The salad dressing was a little too bitter for me. so I decided to pass on it. All in all, it was nice. We even got a free sno cone out of lunch… and it was topped with Strawberry and Lime. We ordered the small servings of pasta, and they were more than enough for us… for some, the food was even too much. I definitely recommend this place, if you want to skip the chowder line next door. The service is fast and friendly, and definitely left a good impression on this Californian. I’m thinking I may go back the next time I’m in town to watch the fish fly.

Tucked away inside of the Pikes place area craziness is a fantastic little pasta bar. The owner behind the bar really makes you feel like family as you watch him prepare his Italian American fare. The experience was very authentic for being in such a busy area. My kids loved the food and the owner even threw in some snow cones for the family. I had the Stromboli. It was a very large portion that I thought I would not have been able to finish… But after the first bite I knew that sandwich was done for… It was perfectly toasty bread surrounding spicy cheesy wonderfulness. Yeah I just made that word up. Kids had the fettuccine Alfredo and pizza and they wiped it out as well.

I’ve been here quite a few times and every single time the service is awesome and the food is delicious! Everyone that works there is always so nice right when you sit down to when you leave. They’re always fun to talk to! My reasoning for the 4 stars is sometimes the portions can be inconsistent. I usually get spag and balls with Tuscany sauce(marinara, Alfredo and pesto, get it you won’t regret it) and depending on the employee you get more or less sauce. Don’t get me wrong, their dishes are never under sauced. I just prefer more sauce on my pasta. It’s a great a deal though you get a good amount of pasta sometimes I have leftovers and they give you garlic bread on the side as well! And it’s the not the frozen stuff either, they make it fresh. It’s a refreshing atmosphere because usually when you get pasta it’s in a sit down fancy restaurant but here it’s so casual I love it! Definitely a place to stop by if you’re looking for delicious pasta while walking through pike place market!

Holy meatballs! Just like the sign on the wall says: the best place in Seattle that you haven’t ate at… So everyone comes to Post Alley for the chowder next store but man it’s hard to wait in the absurd line when you catch a whiff of this place! After about 5 minutes, we couldn’t take it and got out of the chowder line and sat at the pasta bar. Not sure what to order, we looked around at the other patrons and noticed that most of the people were eating meatball subs. So, follow the crowd naturally right?!? The monstrosity that they call a meatball sandwich is extraordinary!!! Every element of the sandwich was phenomenal: the garlicky bread, the spicy taste of the meatball, thr gooey cheese, the sauce and just the tiny touch of pesto put = sweet harmony for the taste buds. This is a beast of a sandwich so if you are visiting the market and want to try all that the area had to offer, you should probably split it with someone. If you attempt to eat this by yourself, you’ll end up I a food coma aka kanack-attack! Be sure to was it down with a fresh lemonade that’s prepared counter side and you will quickly forget why you came to Post Alley in the first place. Whenever I am taking up near the market I make it a point to get lunch here; as should you too… Eat with confidence.

Found this place while milling around the farmer’s market. EXCELLENT service and very good food. We were very happy with our experience and would return if we lived here. The pizza was fabulous. The Alfredo sauce was good but not my favorite. It was better with pesto added. I appreciated being able to mix/match noodles and sauces to create my own dish.

When I heard many claims that they made«the best meatball sandwiches», I had to try them. I am always on the hunt for a great meatball sandwich. I had an amazing one when I was young, and have been searching for an equal ever since — alas that deli where I had it has since closed. Indeed, The Pasta Bar’s was very good, but I’m not sure that its a sandwich — maybe an open-faced sandwich. You must use a knife and fork. There is so much sauces and cheese that you cannot close and hold it. They also slice the meatball, so I have to ask — «Can you still call it a meatball?». It wouldn’t be different from thin slices of meatloaf. To sum up, I enjoyed it, but I’m not sure it was a meatball sandwich.

Hub claimed they have the BEST meatball sammich he’s ever had. It was darn good and this review is only for their meatball sandwich. It’s absolutely delicious and the owner and his son are awesome! Though I don’t agree with the hub about it being the best, it’s a definite contender for second place! This«pasta bar» is located right next to the famous chowder place(I try not to name other competing establishments in my reviews) so it’s easy to grab a sandwich with your chowder or some chowder with your sandwich like we did ;)

How have I not stopped by here sooner?! What a great Pike Place Market find. :D LoPriore is tucked away right behind Pike Place Chowder without the hassle and long lines. The staff is fun and animated and gets right to business when you arrive. We stopped by around 11:30AM and there was plenty of counter space. Like everyone says, go for the meatball sub! It’s cheesy, garlicy and the sauce is ONPOINT. It’s a huge lunch for about $ 11 — worth the wait and price! :)
