I had the combo PHO, and it was ok. Its comes out fast and has a lot of meat but its just… again, ok. The broth isn’t complex; it’s sort of dark and muddy in flavor. The service was fast, and the server was very nice. Came in right after the lunch rush and it kind of looked like a war zone but in about ten mins is was cleaned up.

Pretty good place for phở. I’m in the area so this is my go to place for a quick soup fix. Perfect warm up for those cold and gloomy days. I wouldn’t say it’s the best phở I’ve ever had, but it sure does the trick. I usually get the chicken phở and Doctor in all the fixin’s. The staff is nice and there’s rarely too much of a crowd.

Always friendly service. I live across the street from the place and it never fails to satisfy. Large portions of phở, great tunes playing and courteous staff.

I love their vegetarian options! The veggie phở and tofu vermicelli are super good! They also offer veggie broth and veggie sauce in place of beef broth and fish sauce. My boyfriend loves the pork vermicelli. We always order to go and the portions are enormous! Which is pretty awesome! I just wish their spring rolls weren’t so expensive-the only reason I give this place 4 stars. But a great place to go if you’re vegetarian!

SUPER fresh tasting! Very very busy during the lunch hour because of how delicious it is. It is best to go around 4 or 5 pm. The rare beef phở is my favorite. During the summer months the chicken banh mi is a great alternative, and goes well with the spring rolls.

Being that this is the first time I’ve ever had phở, I can’t really compare it to other establishments. I can say that what I got was really good in terms of quality and portions. The serviced I received was the main reason I’m writing a review, though. The place was at about 50% capacity when I showed up. I was seated a few seconds after I opened the door. Placed my order then went to the bathroom to wash up. By the time I came back to the table, my drink and sprout plate were already waiting for me. About a minute later the phở and rice were brought out. In total, from the moment I walked in to when I received my food, about 5 minutes elapsed. Yeah, yeah. I get it. «It’s just phở. Calm down.» I’m just impressed there was no intentional feet dragging. But that was just the tip of the iceberg regarding their service. My drink refills came out quicker than I could finish them. I was asked multiple times if everything was good. Long story short, most attentive staff I’ve ever had serve me. Pros Super attentive staff Portions and food quality were great for the price Cons I don’t feel I tipped enough for their service

This is, hands down, the best Phở I’ve ever had. We visited for lunch and had chicken phở plus spring rolls, and everything was fresh and full of brightness. The chicken was incredibly flavorful, fresh, high quality chicken, instead of the frozen pieces that you find in most places. We’ll definitely be back as often as possible.

This place was DELICIOUS!!! The food was tremendous, full of flavor, and the portion size was awesome. I always like small mom and pop places. I’m a huge fan

Honestly not that great. Our party came in and was brought to a table. We wanted to sit by the window to enjoy the view and asked for a table change. There wasn’t many people inside the restaurant, but the waiter was still hesitant to give us a table change. I ordered the phở combo. Everything was pretty good except the tendon tasted very very gooey, almost snot-like, which was not good. We also asked for an extra bowl, and the waiter had a condescending tone. Although this restaurant is highly rated, I feel like our experience was not as great as it could be.

First of all I must say it’s an authentic phở restaurant. The menu is quite similar to most phở places with the price of a bowl of phở being 8.50. I ordered the rare steak phở with meatballs. Any phở connoisseur knows the first step is to try the broth first before adding any garnishes. Their broth was delicious and very flavorful! The beef balls were sliced very thin and there weren’t may pieces. The rare steak was plentiful and cut into big slices. I my veggies, sadly they don’t give a lot of veggies. All in all, tastebuds satisfied and I’d return for more phở

I really enjoy Local Phở. The Vermicelli Dishes are delicious, and definitely large enough for two meals, same goes for the Phở. I typically bring tupperware so I can pack half away before I start eating. That way ‘Hungry now’ Justin can’t screw ‘hungry later’ Justin. A note to some, if you order the Spring Rolls, it’s the cold, rice paper wrapped roll with peanut sauce served as ‘Summer Roll’ most places. It’s still delicious. Just so you’re aware of what you’re ordering! Definitely a great place to stop for some delicious Phở or Bun in Belltown!

Sometimes you go to a place for quality. Sometimes you go for quantity. The veggie phở here had generous quantity, but was utterly flavorless. That said, the price was too high for me to be excited about the quantity anyway. The employees were nice enough, though a tad disorganized. Overall, I wasn’t appalled, but nothing made me want to come back.

This was my second time trying Local Phở and first time eating in, and it certainly did not disappoint! I’ll be back, thanks to its: Pricing — inexpensive for Belltown Attentive service Sizable portions Good quality rare and well done(brisket) beef

Came to Local Phở since we were downtown to see a show. Had an Order of summer rolls and a grilled pork sandwich. The sandwich was good but it could have used a little cilantro and jalapeño. The summer rolls were good but could have used some basil or some kind of fresh herb in them. Service was excellent and it was way more food than I could eat.

On a sunny day, sitting at one of the outside tables with a light breeze was perfect. Not too hot because the table was completely shaded. When my friend and I first entered, they sat us at a booth in the very corner where we would have to sit next to each other and face a wall… no thanks. The rest of the seats inside looked less awkward. The menu isn’t overwhelming though there are varieties within each category — like phở, vermicelli bowls, banh mi, rice bowls, etc. Great if you’re an indecisive foodie like me. I went with a very classic phở choice — well done with meatballs. The phở comes in one size for $ 7.95 which looked small in the bowl but it was very filling for me! The meat seemed very quality and they gave a lot. Of course, I didn’t realize how much they had given me until I ate all my noodles and was left with a lot of meat in my broth. Each table has the standard hoisin sauce, sriracha, and a chili paste. Ask for sauce bowls, the outside tables didn’t have them at least. Service was incredibly fast. They asked for our order a minute after we sat down. Food came out within minutes, I swear. To beat the lunch crowd, I would come at 11:30. It was starting to form a line after noon. Overall, nice place and my friend tells me that their whole menu is tasty. Prices are very reasonable. Quality is better than the cheap joints in the UDistrict that I’m used to frequenting. I don’t think I would travel all the way to Belltown just for this but since I was at work and it was a short walk away, why not?

Even in 85 degree weather, ya girl stays craving phở. Lucky for me, Local Phở is a 5 minute walk from my work! I headed into Local Phở and was greeted very quickly. I was a little nervous going by myself, because I didn’t want to look like a loner — thankfully enough, the girl sat me at the bar, with all the other loners who came during their lunch. It was a good thing I showed when I did, because this place gets packed, FAST. I ended up getting the well done steak phở… God. So good. And the portions they give you are RIDICULOUS. It’s a one size charge, $ 7.95 per bowl, so I was expecting some wimpy half-filled bowl. Nope. Not here. If I put my hand over this bowl and spread my fingers all the way out, it still wouldn’t cover the top of the bowl. The broth at first seemed to be kind of sweet, but once I stirred it, the real flavor came out. It was soooo good. I didn’t have to add ANYTHING to it at all. They don’t skimp out on anything either — there was almost too much meat(which has never been a problem), but it was okay because all of it was really tender and there were no fatty pieces at all. The service provided here is not very personable, and it’s really quick, but it’s because they’re busy. Despite being slammed during their lunch hour, every person I spoke with was really nice. I will definitely be back in the near future!

There are three reasons Local Phở is incomparably awesome: 1. Price. My huge bowl of phở literally cost me less than an average visit to Taco Bell. At $ 8.50 for a bowl, you cannot beat this price. This would be considered reasonable even in Tennessee, much less Seattle. 2. Variety. They have rare beef phở, well-done beef phở, seafood phở, vegetarian phở – you name it, they probably make it. And it’s all delicious! I had the veggie phở without tofu and it was comparable to any other phở I’ve had in the city. My friend tried the rare beef phở and the meat was delightfully tender. They also serve Bahn Mi! 3. Location. Local Phở is right in the heart of Belltown on a street that’s dressed up to feel like a casual night out waiting to happen. They also have outdoor seating, which is a total must in the summer months. For the price, you literally cannot do better. It’s a diamond in the rough of this very, very expensive city. If you’re from out of town, make a day of it with Local Phở, the Olympic Sculpture Park just down the street, and a walk through Seattle Center, a mere 10 minute walk away. If you’re a local, come anyway, and ignore everything else because you’re so over it, but don’t miss Local Phở. It’s easy on the palette, and easier on the wallet.

The Phở broth was really wonderful full of flavor. Not much meat even in the Combo, so order extra meat or vegetables to make it as good as the photos, otherwise the Phở is better in Portland. The salad rolls were big, and the Peanut sauce was darker than average thus it must have more of the other ingredients in it besides peanut butter. The Chicken Vermicelli was so fresh and buoyant, I think I’ll have that next time.

We are visiting from texas and next to our condo was this phở restaurant. We are vietnamese so we decided to try it out to see if theres any difference with the phở from texas ànd authentic phở from vietnam. After reading all the Unilocal reviews i wanted to give it a try. I ordered the rice and my girlfriend ordered the phở. The lady gave me my rice and walked off? I asked for a spoon and she looked at me strange, was i supposed to eat it with chopsticks? Other than that odd moment, my rice platter was very bland. The phở was also bland. Both didnt have the flavor it should have, we loaded up with sriracha just so we wont be so disappointed with our meal. If they sell only to locals then i guess its ok but coming from someone thats had way better, this place is only 2⁄10 on flavor.
