King County Metro Transit Bus Route No. 5

A HAIKU REVIEW
We go slow to town.
Stop light and ‘nother stop light.
We go stop to town.

So far, this bus line is way better than the 358. Not one person has pooped or bled anyplace, and only one obnoxious teen blasted rap for ten minutes. Sweet.

I hate this bus sooo much! Every time I go on the bus, there is always smelly people that insist on sitting next to me even though half of the bus is empty. Not to mention the bus it self is so slow, that even though I missed the bus by a minute, I managed to beat it home with 2 minutes to spare.

You made me buy a car.

I have to ride this bus. But it is so slow to downtown from Greenwood.
And while it’s not the 358, there is some overflow. saw a masterbater on this route once. The bus driver kicked him off in fremont. Good place for him to go I suppose.

i get on at 110^th and got downtown in less than 45. i had to sit in the accordion, but i got a real seat before too long. i love that this route goes past a lot of the places that i need to go (i hate transferring). metro’s not as awesome as the CTA system, but so far, it works for me.
also, public transit = smelly people. get over it or get wheels of your own.

the guy who growls like a dog is not on the bus anymore, but now I have:
— smelly people (don’t take a bath, doesnt brush their teeth, wears too much cologne/​perfume)
— people who talk loud on the phone
— wide stance guy who sits next to me
— can be too damn hot in the bus
— people who get onto the bus on a later stop and has to has to stand and will look at you like you are an asshole who stole their seat
— my grumpy bitch ass who complains about stupid shit in the morning and shouldnt have anything to complain about because my work subsidizes most of my bus pass and i dont have to drive during traffic and it only takes about 30 minutes to work and i can sleep or read or surf the web on my phone and the 5 is probably one of the more convenient bus routes in the city but no i have to complain because it became a sport for me early on in life and i post my complains on threads and reviews because i think i will get some kind of self fulfillment when i do this but in reality i have it pretty damn good and should not be complaining about this because some people have it a lot worse off and do not complain which makes me look like a bigger asshole than i actually am so therefore i am going to leave this as a 4 star review and go sit on the couch and feel productive

I’d rather take a bus full of crazy street urchins that reek of urine and bark at their fellow passengers if it gets me to and from Downtown in less than 50 minutes. The morning express is decent, but getting home after work and the gym is like treading a pool of molasses on a cold day.
