If you live in Seattle and your child needs a Speech Therapist or Speech Pathologist, you are lucky. This is because one of the best in the country lives here. If it is 2009 you are even luckier, because she is expanding her practice and accepting new clients. She has worked wonders with my toddler, using the nationally recognized PROMPT system. She is one of only a couple dozen people around the nation with this type of training… in fact she teaches it! If I sound like a fan, I am, because I can finally understand what my daughter is saying.

I don’t mean to exaggerate, but Kayle is a miracle worker! She has been working with our 3 year old son for about 9 months now and in that time he has made tremendous progress. He has verbal apraxia and was not saying too much when she met him, but he now has so many new words I can’t keep track. She has always been able to get him to make just about any sound, which he practices with her until he gets the confidence to say it in everyday speech. The PROMPT technique seems ideal for kids with apraxia and Kayle is a certified expert (she even teaches it). If you are lucky enough to live in West Seattle and need an SLP, don’t wait to contact Kayle. She is worth her weight in gold!

If your child needs to be taught how to speak, try your best to get hooked up with Kayle. Great no-​nonsense approach. She’s extremely professional, kind and caring, but firm (meaning that kids need to work during the sessions). I can’t say that my child loved going, but he didn’t hate it either, and he certainly felt and was successful!
She’s trained in PROMPT, which can be of great value to your struggling child.
