Jim was a great landlord for the past couple years for us. It is very apparant that he runs his rentals extremely well as ours was in very good condition, especially considering it was an older house. Whenever there was an unexpected issue with the house that came up, Jim had it taken care of in an extremely timely fashion. By the end of our contract we felt more than comfortable knowing that if anything were to happen, he would have the issue resolved right away.
While being very professional, Jim was also personable and approachable, which made renting from him an enjoyable experience. If you get the opportunity to rent from him, you will be well satisfied.

Jim is the best landlord that we have ever had, and we’ve had a lot of past landlords. He is courteous, respectful, available, and responsive. He returns requests with haste, is professional, and really cares for his tenants. Jim was our landlord for 3 years, and he has been very thorough and responsible. He is action-​oriented and keeps his properties in top condition. I would highly recommend him as your landlord. Thanks for all you’ve done for us, and it’s been great to be your tenants!

Rent $$ — very good
Building — well maintained and all appliances newer. Landscaping was immaculate. Had windows cleaned every 6 mos (all included in rent)
Communication — great. Did not have unrealistic expectations or «hover» over tenants.
This isn’t a ‘side gig’ for Jim, it’s what he does so as a tenant, if you ever need anything I wouldn’t expect that he would handle your issue anything less than professionally.

Currently a tenant of Jim’s and can’t say anything bad about the experience. You know how landlords are generally thought as highly of as lawyers, tax agents, and accountants, right? Well, not the case with my last ten months living at one of Jim’s rental properties.
I can’t speak for his talent as a realtor, but my experience as a tenant has been nothing but smooth. From the first phone call in response to his Craigslist ad, to the timeliness of filing rental paperwork, to the property walk-​through, to the unexpected emergencies of daily life, Jim has been on the ball about it all.
We’ve only had a few issues with appliances and plumbing in the apartment, but one call, text, or email to Jim has led to a solution in an incredibly-​timely manner. He’s forgiving about a fluke late rent payment or two and even sent us a Christmas card during the holidays.
I can say that spending the last ten years living in rental properties has given me at least a little perspective on the wide range of landlords that are out there. Jim ranks high on my personal list of bests.
