After spending several months doing work on our house, we had accumulated a large amount of items which needed to be taken to the dump. Previously we would always go rent a uhaul, pack it ourselves, go to the dump and return the uhaul. But after doing this once or twice we decided it was worth it to hire someone to do it for us.
I contacted Mike after reading all the Unilocal reviews and noticing he was in my neighborhood. He gave me a quote over the phone which was very reasonable for what we wanted hauled away and we set up a time for him to come by. When he came by to pick up the items, the final price was actually lower than his original estimate over the phone. He was friendly and professional and did the job quickly!
I highly recommend Mike and would work with him again if we need to haul away stuff. And the price he charged us was much lower than we were expecting and it would probably have cost us more to do it on our own since we’d have to rent a truck.

Mike was super friendly and helpful. His pricing was very reasonable too. I liked that he let me wait to pay him until after he dumped my stuff so I could pay him for his fee and the dump fee in one check. I will definitely use him again and would recommend him for anyone who needs to haul stuff away.

He took a look, told us it would probably take three loads, but managed to shove if all into two. He needed help with the fridge, since he’s just one guy, but was super fast with all the rest.

I had a great deal of yard waste as the result of a massive chopping spree. Most of it was thorny, unpleasant stuff — blackberries, holly etc. Mike, the owner, was very responsive when I contacted him. He called on the day of his arrival to ask if it was OK if he came early.
He worked hard, had high standards about what he was doing (raked a lot of the little stuff after putting the bigger stuff in his truck) and seemed very positive even though it was definitely an unpleasant task. I’d call him again in a heartbeat.

Mike charged a fraction of what all the others were charging, he showed up immediately and the service was fantastic.

He was on time and very nice. It only costs $ 75 to remove a futon, which is so much cheaper compare to the other junk removal services.

The project was very easy. We placed all the content of the house that we wished to dispose of as well as old fixtures and materials from the remodel going on in one pile on our driveway. They came with a large truck and took it all. No questions asked. It was the easiest project we’ve done to date.

I was quite surprised that having junk removed could be such a positive experience! Micheal is not the typical person you would expect to show up to haul junk… He is a kind, warmhearted soul with an unusually positive outlook on life. He went out of his way for no additional cost to help me load lots and lots of stuff. On top of his great service and friendliness, his price was the lowest I found. When you meet him you will know for sure you called the right person.
