Great school! My home since 2012 – 2015 … The best teacher is Mr.Elvig. and that’s a fact! If you’re taking a Gym Class you already know that class is going to be fun! :)

A school with a dying range of ethnic diversity, you can really tell that the IB program is really taking the toll upon this school. With huge gaps between the IB and regular students, it’s starting to seem like something out of a movie. Friends of mine feel uncomfortable walking the halls due to teachers and students profiling them in the hallways. Some teachers don’t really know how to do their jobs correctly and give students an unequal spectrum of grading.

Picture this:
It’s Sunday, March 8^th at 2:50 in the afternoon. Twenty volleyball teams are battling it out on the ten courts set up throughout the three large gyms at Ingraham High School.
Sneakers squeak. Voices cheer. Teammates slap hands. It is athleticism at its best.
On one of these courts, a team is getting their heinies handed to them. The score is 16 – 1, with no side out in sight. Something dramatic must happen to get momentum to swing the other way.
Alli D. knows that she could make a difference in her floundering team. She calls for the set. She jumps to hit it, and all eyes are on her as her muscular legs launch her to the full height of her three-​foot vertical leap. There are gasps as she spikes the ball – so graceful, so powerful! But wait! Her teammate has also jumped for the ball! They are crashing into each other! Alli’s foot has landed on top of his foot! The sheer force of the fall from such a great height causes her ankle to give out.
Now the only audible sound is that of popping joints and tearing ligaments. It is the sound of the end of a career. The sound of a gold medal being placed around another’s neck.
And who is to blame? The athlete, for not training hard enough? The volleyball, for flying in at the wrong angle? Or the venue, for its dusty floors and too-​high nets? You be the judge.
