I was very pleasantly surprised when I got my order at work. I was expecting a mediocre gluten free sandwich in a to go container. But Ingallinas has turned the entire meal into an experience. I felt like I was getting my ipsy bag in the mail. My lunch came in a big box with wrapping paper and a business card. Inside was a full lunch with condiment packets, a wet wipe, a candy, a tooth pick and they even switched out the cookie to a gluten free bar without me telling them too! They brought the entire restaurant experience to me in a bright box! The food itself was good, but definitely not a gourmet eating experience. Simple, fun and delicious.

I first came across Ingallina’s at my work when my department treated box lunches for us! Truth be told I never really thought box lunches would be all that great and that the food contained within would be bare minimum in every regard and uninspired. But in the case with Ingallina’s my impression of what constitutes as a box lunch completely changed! I have gotten two of their menu items on two separate orders. The first time I got the Turkey and Avocado sandwich which was fantastic! So very fresh and the sandwich spread was wonderful! In addition to the sandwich there was a cookie, a bag of chips, bottled water and a very impressive cup of fruit which was garnished with a leaf of mint. Nice touch! After that impressive meal I was starting to wonder if they would deliver to private homes. I wasn’t too sure since I see and hear them most of the time associated with companies but they do in fact deliver to private homes! The minimum box lunches for a delivery to happen anywhere is two. Steve was easily convinced to give the place a try so we ordered in box lunches and saved them until we were both home for supper. This time I got the Thai Chicken Wrap which was very good as well! In the end though I think I liked that Turkey and Avocado sandwich the best but that is just my preference. Both times everything was very fresh and tasty! One box lunch a piece is $ 15.00 and there are various rates for larger meals or gifts associated with companies so that takes a bit of investigating.

I completed the survey about my service and about 20 minutes later got a call from the manager, Evan. He was very nice and apologetic and offered me 2 free lunch boxes on my account. I still haven’t tried the food but greatly appreciate the call to rectify the situation. He said that isn’t normal and will be talking to his staff. I should have heard from them via phone and been offered 2 free box lunches in the process. I’ll give them another shot sometime soon and see what happens.

LOVE this place! I order from here often for work meetings and they are always on time and if by chance they are running even a few minutes late, they call and let me know. I typically order the boxed lunches, but everything from here is really good. This is my go-to place whenever I need food for meetings. I’ve had to request no nuts on occasion due to food allergies and they are always very accommodating and friendly, I never feel like an inconvenience when making special requests. Highly recommend them!

I am very impressed with this company! I had an order for 13 people delivered for lunch today. The food was fresh, presented beautifully, and all special requests were correct. We will be ordering again!

I’ve received several gifts from family members from Ingallina’s and they were so beautiful and delicious! Such a perfect gift! I loved it each time. I love their packaging and service, and also the cookies are to die for. Seriously, they are the best cookies I have ever had in this country. You HAVE to try them, and the brownies.

We did a lunch order for our management team today with a scheduled a delivery window of 11:30−12 but the driver didn’t show up until 12:45 and unfortunately the sandwich meat and macaroni salad were warm, not pleasant. I can’t speak for what it would have tasted like if it had actually been on time and at the proper temperature. I am highly disappointed and will not be ordering from here again.

We got these delivered at work today and I should have brought my lunch. I ordered the cob salad and asked for feta instead of bleu cheese«if possible» which it apparently was not. But that is fine with me, substitutions are a plus but not a deal killer for me. The packaging was a little grandiose for my taste. I don’t know about you, but I don’t need tissue paper wrapping my salad, it’s not a birthday present. The lack of quality control was sad. The bleu cheese that did come on it was excessively«bleu»(that’s mold that makes it bleu in case you didn’t know). One large piece had a side that was completely covered. I through that piece out. The dressing is OK at best, but overpowering. I usually use a lot of dressing, but didn’t even use up ½ of this little cup. The avocado was just two big chunks, not sliced or even close to convenient for biting with your salad. The fruit that they send with it I was really looking forward to but was extremely bland. I love summer fruit and this stuff all tasted the same, which was slightly more flavor that water. The best piece of the meal was the snicker doodle cookie. Crisp edges soft doughy middle. Truly a good cookie. Made me bump the review up a star. Other than that though, pack your own sandwich at home :-(

Convenient and pretty good food. They have really good muffins and other breakfast foods too. The lunches are good and sandwiches and salads are made with high quality ingredients(meats, cheese). One thing I wish is that when picking your sandwich or salad they would also let you pick your cookie and chips or even opt out. I’ve noticed a lot of food gets thrown out because people don’t want it. Two things I don’t like: their fruit is usually a lot of melon and cantaloupe with a half of a strawberry and one grape thrown in. Also the lunches come in big boxes and creates a lot of waste after eating. You need a few people dedicated to breaking down the box and making sure they get recycled.

I have ordered from Ingallina’s a few times for training classes, and lunch meetings in my office, and it is consistently good. Everything is always fresh, and tastes great! The only thing I would say is their portion sizes are definitely meant for more dainty people or ladies. I am usually ordering for a bunch of electricians, and those guys can EAT! If the platter says it can serve 11 — 15 people, and I’ve got 15 guys… I order two platters AND a big side dish. I will definitely keep ordering from them in the future.

Lunch was delivered to our office today and it was beautiful! Sandwiches were loaded with meat this time, hummus tray was good size, salad was full of goodies and everything was super fresh! Much better than last time!

We order a lot of delivery type lunches at work. As said by a previous reviewer, best description — Ingallinas: Airplane food. Edible, but I’d really prefer not to waste the calories on something that somehow manages to have so little flavor and appeal. Some squishy, slimy pieces of lettuce in the salads multiple times. Colorful advertising/packaging but too much, coworkers agree. I guess at my work we prefer environmentally friendly over pretty colors and fancy papers. Probably my least favorite place to hear announced when they tell us where we’re getting lunch from. Also, limited dietary restriction type menu which I don’t need but I appreciate choices for those that do. Wouldn’t buy it on my own dime.

Very disappointing food. At two organizations I’ve worked with, Ingallina’s is regularly used as a catering service. The food is mediocre at best and hard to choke down at worst. The produce in the salads isn’t always fresh, and if you have one piece of rotten lettuce it taints the whole thing. Plus, I’m always aghast at the extraneous packaging and requisite water bottle that accompanies each lunch. Do you really need tissue paper, wetnaps, plastic wrap, etc. Such a waste. If this was the cheapest option out there, I’d understand why it’s used. But the price is about mid-point. However, I will say that the delivery and service is usually pretty good.

We ordered Ingallian’s today for a lunch meeting. I was overall very disappointed. We got the high-roller wraps and they were gross — they were wet on the bottom and flavorless. We also got the chicken satays — the chicken was really DRY. Dry to a point where you need water to swallow with it. Maybe we ordered the wrong things today but I don’t think I will suggest it again.

I order from Ingallina’s about once a week. They are great! Everything is fresh, delicious, tasty, reasonably priced(less than $ 10 a person), and THEYDELIVER! Their boxed lunches have such a great variety! Their delivery time is usually as promised and everything is packed neatly. The only website feature I wish they had would be to exclude delivery times that are no longer available for the day when placing an order. A few times, I’ve picked a delivery time based on our lunch meetings only to receive a call saying that delivery time is no longer available. It’d be helpful to know whether or not we can get a delivery at the time we need prior to spending time selecting menu items that we can’t receive. I usually end up ordering from somewhere else when that happens. Hungry consultants can easily be hangry in a matter of minutes! I love that they let you customize their platters. We have quite a few vegetarians in the office and when I can’t find a good numbered mix of sandwiches to feed all, I call in and ask them to swap a few this for a few of that which they are more than happy to do. It’s a winner each time!

Really amazing delivery lunches. My Aunt sent us lunch as a gift, during our move. The sandwiches were all really delicious. The salad was massive and loaded with toppings. The dessert cake balls were the best I have had from a restaurant. Would use again, for sure.

I would’ve taken a picture of my lunch, but I ate it too fast. And boy was it delicious. I ordered 15 lunches at my work for an event, and not only did they: a) deliver on a Saturday b) deliver for FREE! and c) deliver to Des Moines(almost to Kent!) .they were on time. They were friendly. The box lunches are a dollar cheaper than other similar Seattle companies. And best of all, when the judges saw the lunches, a few said«Ooooh, you got Ingallina’s!». It’s well-known for being GOOD. In the box lunch: *First off — pretty, colorful, fancy box. Not your average brown box here, people. *Sandwiches: soft bread, plenty of meat, delicious spreads, avocado, a few veggie options, etc. Definitely large enough. *Cookie: HOMEMADE soft cookies, a variety — I got lemon cookie with lemon icing. Oh heavens… halfway through I put the cookie down to take a drink, and had a mini-panic attack when I forgot I still had some left. Then, my heart rate returned to normal. *Water, Tim’s chips — eh, not a big Tims fan. *Variety of fruit: fresh and juicy. Careful that the juices don’t squirt from your mouth. Other places I called would not deliver on a Saturday unless it was a $ 1500 minimum(whoa! Okay?) or wouldn’t go as south as Des Moines. The woman on the phone was lovely and helpful and said they deliver as far as Tacoma. A must-get for lunch delivery.
