Visited the place for a «complementary» consultation. I know that in hair removal the only important thing is the machines the place use, in this case not the really new and efficient ones. But the «quality» of their representative that I met was so embarrassing that I chose to leave the place and never look back.

I admit that I look at other’s reviews when I look seriously at a product or service. If you do the same, take this review to heart.
I am a woman in my late 50’s who has had extra tummy fat despite TONS of exercise. The fat pattern is hereditary, and it has driven me NUTS. I walked into Ideal Image and truly look a leap of faith, literally having tried EVERYTHING else. I had given up hope by this point but thought just maybe…
Imagine my absolute shock and thrill when, 2 months after cool sculpting, I could actually feel the muscle in my stomach. The fat layer was GONE. I could actually see my belly button in the mirror.
I am one of the most honest people you will every read a review from; highly educated; known at work for «telling it like it is.» Ideal Image did what I have wished for, for YEARS.

I just have 1 problem with Ideal image. It didn’t work… At all… I paid handsomely to have hair removed from my shoulders /​upper arms. After almost 2 years and 10+ sessions I am about as hairy as the day I went in. I should mention my skin is darker than normal so they had to use a different laser. Regardless, I saw almost no results. What makes it worse is that their guarantee is pretty fickle. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to avoid having to end up paying even more for the results you were initially promised. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Made an appointment online for a consultation. I had talked to a few places in Bellevue, so had some idea of costs & wanted to check out some places in Seattle for comparison. Arrived at scheduled 11:00 am appointment time, were checked in, and given water. Then waited, and waited and. .. other people showed up for 11:00 am appointments and were helped immediately.
The sushi restaurant next door started to seem like a much better idea than waiting for these goofballs to get off the dime, so I went to lunch.
Not worth fighting traffic to get to this place.

I am a little heartbroke I did this. I got my bikini area done recently, all I wanted was a perfect triangle and it is more like a part square/​part triangle disaster that can’t be taken in any more. I feel like crying everytime I see it. I feel sick to my stomach this can’t be undone.

They shouldn’t even deserve one star. I signed up online to get more information in the beginning and right away I got a phone call from them. Someone named Abbey or something said that they are 70% off and would love to have in for a free consultation. I made an appointment with them because the person who I spoke to on the phone told me that I would get my first treatment free, even though the hair doesn’t get removed I could see how smoother and lighter it would be. When I went for my free consultation there was a lady who right away looked at me up and down and sat down to explain the procedure and the payment. Immediately she asked what I did and if I was a student and if I could afford this since it’s such a «Luxury» Even thought the prices she was telling was way over beyond expensive (I have never been to any other places but the prices seemed a little extreme) I was planning to try it. When I asked about my first free treatment she said «why bother, its not like you are going to go through with it. And the first treatment would be a waste» and that «I should go home and talk to my parents.» I was beyond shock that anyone from any work environment would talk down to anyone. I could not believe that someone like that existed. She was defiantly very rude and stereotypical. Or just plain mean person. I work at a fast food restaurant and I serve everyone the same no matter how old or how different they are I treat them with a smile because HELLO they are the customer!!! Well no wonder this place has such a low rating. I am appalled at their customer skills. That is not how to do business.

My experience with Ideal Image has been amazing. Life changing. I looked in to hair removal because my legs had become deeply scarred from years of waxing & ingrown hairs embedded too deep for removal. I became ashamed to show my legs off. The prices here are not cheap, but I wanted a company I trusted so my legs could heal instead of just making things worse. The customer service is off the charts wonderful, & my results have been astounding. Granted, I’m an ideal candidate. Light skin, dark hair. But I’m only 4 sessions in & almost completely hair free. The ingrown hairs that were already there have finally risen to the surface & the scarring has mostly healed, & because no new ingrown hairs have developed I’m finally able to be comfortable in my preferred clothing again. For me, this company is giving me my life style back, & this location is the best of the best. I feel every single person there cares about my progress, about my happiness. Thank you all, more than I can express.

I made the mistake of requesting information from this business and have basically been stalked daily by them. I have gotten up to three phone calls a day «inviting» me to come in… Seriously? Frankly the desperation is a little alarming. Must be hard up for business and with these reviews and your business practices I can see why.

I thought this place was very expensive and wanted me to pay for way more treatment than what I was asking for.

Do not make business with this branch until the Stephanie still works there at the front desk. Dont get her mad or let say bother her of anything, she got your personal information and she will use the companies resources for her personal gain. Thats what she did with me. gave my personal info to third party business entity. STEPHANIE is very rude and unhelpful and do not care. They should fire her for causing misery to another family. Oh and she hates kids, she doesnt like dealing w kids so dont bring your kids to ideal image if she is there.

I am finally ready to review this place. I know the reviews already up are terrible which surprises me considering my own experiences. I did a lot of researching places for my laser hair needs. I found a lot of salons had poor machines and bad reviews so was wary of them. Then I found Ideal Image online and decided to try a free consultation.
The consultant my fiancée and I met with was very nice. She was comfortable explaining the process, addressing concerns, and discussing cost. She showed no desire to shame me about my hair consciousness. She also did not do any fat shaming which I admit I was worried about considering I would be baring intimate parts of myself if I came here. Overall I found her pleasant to be around. She even discussed some areas my fiancée was interested in getting laser for and informed him his skin and hair type were not compatible. Whoa! It was nice not to try an sell him on something that wouldn’t have worked well.
The prices are high. I expected this though and found them fair for what you get, which is results! Results are what you care about when you come here and they have great results. I noticed an impressive decrease in hair density after just my first treatment which I estimated at about a 20% decrease in overall hair. I am on cloud nine about this and have continued to have great losses as I go through my package sessions.
Each time I have gone in I have worked with the same woman for my treatments. She is funny and friendly. She spends the time chatting pleasantly, cracking jokes with me, and communicating about how I am doing. The amount of discomfort you experience will vary widely on hair density and area. I have one area worked on that hurts like the dickens and other that I barely notice getting lasered. It is not quite as bad as waxing which I have done before. If it hurts too much take the topical cream they can prescribe. I don’t know if it works as I just grin and work through the discomfort.
I do say try them though if you want real results. These people are pros. They are fast, friendly, and courteous.

This business is a rip off. I am seriously considering filing a formal complain with the BBB. The treatment does work in my opinion but they don’t provide any form of pain management and believe me when I tell you that it hurts. That numbing cream that they recommend is a joke when you are doing a large area with a high laser level. During the interview they give you a sample shot with the laser to give you an idea of how it feels but they fail to mention that the laser has been set at a very low level. Why don’t they tell you this you may ask, well if they did tell you or even better if they gave you a shot with the laser setting at 18 you will think twice about the treatment. There are ways of managing the pain related with the treatment but the staff that they have is not certified or trained in the use of laughing gas or any other form of serious pain management. In other words they don’t want to hire/​pay the right people. Once you sign that contract you are done for or so they think. The laser covers an area of approximately the size of a quarter, the number of laser shots depends on the area you are getting treated. Let me give you an idea of what the treatment really feels like. Picture your self playing paintball wars completely topless. In paintball games usually you are out once you’ve been hit a couple of times. well this game is different. The only way to get out is to cover the entire area in paint. You get the picture now, its like paying to get tortured. Another thing they fail to mention is if your hair is not truly black it wont work as well. If you the root of your hairs are red, blonde etc… the treatment will not be as effective. I learned this the hard way. I suggest that you do your homework thoroughly and read that contract from start to finish. There are some other details you need to know and agree with. Good luck!!!
