I just contacted Seattle Debt Law and talked directly with the Senior Attorney Christina Latta. She did not know me but took my call.
She helped me find the resources that I needed, everything that I had been searching for, which was for about a year, she solved for me in minutes. I cannot even put into words how much I appreciate that she took the time, without even knowing me, to help me seek the free resources that I really needed. I would recommend her highly.

Like the previous person stated, I was someone who needed services provided by Seattle Debt Law. I went through a divorce, became jobless, and had no where to really go.
I turned to Seattle Debt Law to help me with a creditor and collection agency. I was in a load of debt and in judgment with the courts. What I was going through was very personal and very difficult to come to terms with.
I walked in and I was treated as if I were nothing but a black line on a piece of paper. I filled out a form in the lobby and the attorney came to greet me. She lead me to a conference room and I handed her my paperwork. A 5-​minute consultation and conference call, and $ 500 later. Not even a welcoming handshake. There was no fight, no negotiations; a take-​it or leave-​it attitude is what I was presented with. There was no compassion in their office from any of the partners. What they presented to me, I found out I could have negotiated on my own, saving myself the cash. I was probably there for maybe 20 mins. And 10 of those mins dealt with re-​dialing the collection agency. They kept pushing bankruptcy on me which would only get the attorneys more money, and have me spiraling for years to come. I understand they need their money, but please don’t push bankruptcy on me.
If you’re looking for compassion, someone to fight for you, or someone to understand what you’re going through, don’t contact Seattle Debt Law. To them, you’re just a number and a case.

If you need their services, and some of you might given this current economy… DON’T hesitate to give them a call.
They offer a no-​nonsense/​no-​hustle approach to financial counseling and bankruptcy. I witnessed a dear friend go through the process, and SDL was great to them.
I also like that this is a woman owned business, and mostly female staff.
Hopefully you will never need financial counseling or to file bankruptcy, but if you do I would give a call to Seattle Debt Law first.
