Happy Feet Reflexology

(This is purely based on their customer service, not the massage itself)
I was looking forward to my massage based on the high ratings they have on Unilocal.I scheduled an appointment for 7p at this location with a woman who confirmed the time and address (Greenwood, not the 65^th location). I was about 5 minutes late which was my fault, but when I arrived there was no record of my appointment. In addition, the customer service I received was poor and limited. The male receptionist looked confused the entire time, he tried calling the woman who booked the appointment multiple times, and finally when he got ahold of her she accused me of going to the wrong location and that I was 15 minutes late. Although she offered me a $ 3 coupon to use, the very poor service is what was most offensive. I’ve worked in the service industry for over 10 years and am appalled at the customer service here. I’ll give them a slight benefit of the doubt that maybe they were having a bad day but that doesn’t justify the horrible customer service. I walked out without even getting a massage. I’m sure they are very good at their massage skills but absolutely need to work on treating the customer well.

Can I rent a bed and live here?! Seriously. I have high standards for the whole massage experience (I was a massage therapist for a few years but more importantly a total massage whore) and have paid up the wazzu in Seattle trying to find a nice massage for less than $ 100. Bingo!
The staff, is seriously amazing! They are so aware of how you are feeling and how to make your experience a good one. They are trained at reflexology, and aren’t just aimlessly rubbing on you for an hour) You pick from a menu of options (body & feet, just feet, neck back and feet etc) not only was I asked to pick an option, but they even asked me to specify how much time I liked on which parts etc. wow! You don’t even get this at the million dollar salons!
The massage was heaven! You stay fully clothed and they cover you with a blanket. The room is quiet, warm and has soft music playing. This room is an open one shared with those getting massages. My masseuse smashed, rolled, kneaded and pressurized me to a pile of mush! He covered my whole back side, my head and my feet. Once I got to the cash register, I was charged $ 35 for an hour. Say whaaaaaaaaat?! They also say tips are appreciated but not expected. Hello! When is the last time you saw something like that?
Get your booties here and see what I mean! I am counting down the days to my next excuse to visit. This place has me wrapped around their talented little fingers!

$ 40 for a superb 1-​hour combo body & foot massage is an incredible bargain. I wish their English was a little better, but that’s a small complaint; once you’re on a bed, it is heaven. We’ve been here dozens of times and have never been disappointed. It is great,

Great and cheap Chinese reflexology massage right in the heart of Greenwood!
I dropped by on a Thursday night without an appointment and they were able to take me in. Very little English is spoken here, but that was no biggie as I was able to point to what kind of service I wanted.
I chose the 1 hour full body massage for $ 35 ($ 38 since I used my credit card) and it was fabulous!
There are no private rooms here, just a big room with several reclining chairs. They give you a blanket and you remain clothed throughout the massage.
They will soak your feet in warm water, so be sure to wear pants that can be rolled up easily.
Overall, this place is a little more expensive than Imperial Foot Massage in the ID, but it’s definitely worth a try if you are looking for a cheap, no-​frills massage in North Seattle!

Listen — for what you’re paying (PRACTICALLY NOTHING), this is an amazing place.
It was kind of an odd experience, but odd in a positive way.
As others have said, there is a bit of a language barrier, but fortunately once you communicate which massage you’re interested in, you’re pretty much silent ’til you’re done.
This is not a fancy spa, little privacy, no fancy fixtures. Definitely a family business vibe.
I walked in here with no appointment, along with my husband, and we both requested the hour-​long foot massage. You lie down in a public space on a cushioned cot and are immediately draped with blankets/​towels. You soak your feet in nice warm water while (surprise) you get massaged on your head/​neck/​shoulders and arms/​hands. (At this point I was wondering «did they understand we wanted the FOOT massage?» but turns out it’s all included!)
The massage lasts a full hour and while it does focus on the feet, really covers most of your body (not back). Lotions and oils are used and smelled pretty good. The amount of pressure (in my opinion, at least) was just right. Don’t be surprised by the shiatsu-​style poking and tapping.
Make sure to wear pants that you can easily roll up. I had some skinny jeans on and as I couldn’t roll them up very far at all (again with the «odd experience) they lent me some Disney-​themed pajama pants to borrow… I hope they were clean. Ha.
Again, considering you pay 28 dollars for a FULL hour and you walk away feeling relaxed and rejuvenated (and for us, it’s right up the road), it’s a really solid experience.

I always get the half feet/​half full body massage.
It is your typical Asian place (mostly Chinese from what I have seen), where it’s one large room and several sofa type recliners. They do a wonderful job of keeping the room peaceful even though you may be surrounded by others getting a massage as well.
Have gone about 4 times, can’t wait to go again!

Went in for foot reflexology. I was handed a menu and told them whichever one is mostly foot massage. Due to language barriers, I ended up with a full body massage. I will say, you will get a grade A massage! My feet never did get attended to, so not sure how to communicate that for next time, but if you want full-​body here’s the place to go.

I had a great experience here. You lay down on a recliner/​couch thing, soak your feet in a tub of nice warm water, and relax while the technician massages your head/​neck, arms, hands, and feet/​calves. I got the basic service, and found it very relaxing. Also, with the $ 2 discount for paying cash it was a great deal — only $ 28 for an hour!

Great massage at a great price! Some noise from the neighboring stores but all in all a pleasant experience.

I enjoyed the massage, but it was awkward as well. The person massing me reeked of cigarette smoke, and that threw me off. The room was stocked full of empty beds, and the man massaging me kept walking away to help other customers. They had a girl «helping» but she spoke no English.
If the man hadn’t smelt like smoke and the beds had more room between them/​I would rate my experience much higher.
The music only worked on one side of the room, they should light candles as well to help with the Walmart style ambiance. Can’t complain too much though, you get what you pay for. 25 $ for an hour foot massage is a pretty damn good deal.

I have overpaid for so many frustratingly mediocre massages in traditional spa settings. If you’re into being gently stroked for an hour, maybe these work for you, but if you’re into good deep tissue it can be so hard to find and really hit or miss. Some of the best (albeit 5 – 10 minute massages) have been during pedicures, so I finally decided to bite the bullet and try one of these Chinese foot massage places. I am sooooo glad I did. I went with the cheapest option to try it out, and besides the foot massage I also got a great massage on head, ears, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and legs. At no point was I wondering why I was paying money for this like I so often am in spas. The whole thing was excellent — firm touch that relieved my discomforts, and so relaxing. I started drifting off multiple times.
This is nothing like the fluffy robe, chilled bottled water experience of a spa. I walked in with no appointment, had to point to the service I wanted on a sign, was immediately taken to a comfy bed where you lie in one big room with other clients fully clothed, and was massaged for at least a full hour (no chiseling minutes off the beginning and end like always seems to happen at spas.) Who cares if English isn’t their strong suit, when massage clearly is?! The $ 25 happy hour price was actually $ 30 if paying with a card (except they immediately backed it down to $ 27, I have no idea why, I wasn’t arguing) and including tip I walked out for $ 35 — doesn’t get any better than that! I highly recommend the Greenwood Happy Feet and will definitely be back.

Seriously good way cheap. Varies in quality, but always very good if not great. More than once they adjusted my back accidentally.

I went for a 1-​hour reflexology treatment. The guy did my head, arms, legs, and feet as I reclined on a low bed in a large room with many beds. The service was pleasant, but not that skilled. I’ve had much better reflexology elsewhere; I don’t think the pressure was firm or focused enough. But, if you want a generally relaxing hour, this is the place to go. $ 30 for 1 hour.

$ 28 for an HOUR foot/​back rub! Yes please! I have been here twice now and am beyond impressed! They are friendly, talented and make it a most enjoyable hour! Highly recommend it! (FYI it’s a little chilly in there so wear something warm or ask them for an extra blanket). LOVE IT!!!

One of the best kept secrets in greenlake area. I love going to spas and getting a massage with aromatherapy and all the fluff that comes with paying $ 150 for a massage. But these guys actually give me a better massage than the spas for less than a ¹⁄₃ of the costs. Yes you keep your clothes on. So wear comfy clothes. The are super nice and welcoming and clean.

I just had my first massage here, I choose the «with back» option. Started face down and did back first, then the foot soak and face/​arms massage, then feet. Really good massage. The ambiance is okay, but they are flanked by stores including a hair salon and the noise and music come through more than is ideal. Good paint colors, hate the blankets with rose patterns. I slightly prefer a place in Lynnwood where I also go because they start you right off with the warm foot soak and they also have a fountain going which is very soothing, and they are a little cheaper, but I actually think the massage I got at happy feet was better.
The guy massager did a nice job of making sure the pressure was okay. Other than that they speak pretty much no English, but that doesn’t get in the way. Don’t bother calling though, unless Winnie is there to answer, you won’t get any where trying to ask questions by phone.
There is a surcharge for using a credit card.
I will be back, the location cant be beat from my house!

This is a newly opened location for Happy Feet from 65^th and Brooklyn, same owner, same staff, that means same kind of great service and skills. For what I do for work sitting down in one position 10 hrs a day, getting a full body massage with some foot reflexology couple times a months is very much necessary. Happy feet is my number one choice because they are reliable. Not only the owner-​Alex is a very skilled professional massage therapist, all the staff are also very experienced. They might not speak English very much, but they got the skills. They are running a special at this location!!! However just for the original price, it is so affordable. $ 28 for 45min foot reflexology and 15 min of body; or $ 35 for 30 min foot reflexology and 30 min body. What a deal! I normally like to get the 1hr body and 30 min foot reflexology combo, it is only $ 67!!! I love it!
Definitely should be your #1 choice as well for a Traditional Chinese Reflexology!
