Very nice as a goodwill… even the sign is classier than most probably considering the location. However a lot more men finds than women for steals. Parking is not a plus since downtown and non clothes items could definitely use a revamp. But can’t beat the labels or the prices for when you do find something!

The smaller than the Capitol Hill location I have found some better bargains here. It’s amazing but the high tech community will pass on to the locals. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure :-)

I had the opportunity to swing by this goodwill again, and I have to just say I still really like it. It’s small, but yet again there were some fabulous finds. Staff continues to be friendly and I didn’t have any trouble finding a parking spot around the corner.

I found a purple GAP scarf for $ 6.99 which I am very happy about. It’s a perfect vibrant color that I have been looking for to match my black coat that I bought at another Goodwill LOL
They have a really good selection with higher quality items. However some of the higher quality items are priced as though they are new.
Cashiers are friendly and prompt. They really make you feel welcome which I really appreciate. I also like that they have a public restroom near the rear of the store. The way they decorated it is very modern too. I love it.
Will I return? When I am in the area I will check out their latest offerings like I usually do.

This is my shopping heaven on earth! After wearing black on black medical scrubs for 2 years, my closet was lacking clothes ! After moving positions to front desk in my dental practice, I needed some nicer things… enter GOODWILL south lake union! I’m here once every other week filling my cart with 10 – 15 new tops for under $ 100! Super nice, on trend, amazing designer items! I walk in every time knowing that I’m going to find at least a weeks worth of new things for a 4.99−10.99 price each! I watch there managers specials on Tuesdays and head down after work for some fun! It’s not the traditional «digging and hoping» thrift store experience-it’s shirt after shirt after shirt going in my cart, pants and skirts and athletic wear– oh my!!! I am so thankful for finding this shop! Thank you goodwill! I can’t wait to get a walk-​in closet! I’m gonna need one very soon…

The smallest Goodwill I’ve seen, this store is well organized and has a lot of nicer things to browse which they’ve probably shipped in since it’s located in South Lake Union.
I was in here briefly after work and have the intention to come back when I’m not in a time crunch.
They currently have Halloween items in the window display which is what drew me in.
There’s zero parking at this location so you’ll be hoofing it from a nearby paid lot or paid parking garage shared with Amazon.

and the staff at this Goodwill definitely know mine (shout out to Kristen– she’s awesome and always makes recommendations on past purchases). This is my favorite place to shop: the whole store, including the bathrooms and fitting rooms, is clean, organized and like every Goodwill in Seattle has great sale days every day of the week.

Really small, but cute! I found two brand new yoga mats, a nice brand new sparkly beach bag, new candles, and other small bits that were in really great condition. Go here if you’re not to warmed up to thrifting but would like to see if you can grab some nice bits for your household, women’s shoes, and other bits. Best goodwill selection I’ve seen, probably due to all of the upscale living in South Lake Union donating their goods. Lots of mason jars and sets of glassware. I will be back!

I am always suprised by the selction here. It might be a relatively small goodwill, but there are for sure some hidden gems. I have found some amazing designer pieces there that I am extremely happy with.
If you are in the area (or just waiting on a table for brunch) give this location a try, you wont be disapointed.

Parking isn’t that great cause there is none, but there is something special about this place.

It took me a while to make it to this South Lake Union Goodwill, because it doesn’t have parking and I was convinced this central location would be totally picked over. What I didn’t realize is that this is actually one of their fancy boutiques, which has its pros and cons, but does mean nicer stuff generally.
As expected, there’s no parking lot, and we had to drive around for a while late on a Saturday afternoon before finding pay parking on the street. (The construction currently going on in the area didn’t help.) This store also closes earlier than many of the other locations, so keep that in mind before you pay the one-​hour minimum for metered parking.
The store is on the small side, but really nice and clean, with bright lighting and well-​organized displays. The merchandise tends to be higher quality and in good condition, although it also seems to be overpriced, like the stained Coach bag I saw for $ 60 (!). I also saw a nice men’s cashmere sweater for $ 15, which seemed more reasonable. So, a well-​curated selection where everything is in pretty nice shape = higher prices and less thrill of the hunt.
One thing that’s different here is that the black «designer» tags are mixed in with the regular clothes, rather than being set aside in a special fancy section. I think I prefer it when they’re in their own section, so you know they’re off limits from the colored tag discounts.
I mean, it was nice. But I couldn’t shake the feeling that it was a little too slick and shiny to offer the real thrift-​store experience. If you want a carefully staged, curated selection of nice used items at cheaper-​than-​new prices, this store is for you. Meanwhile, I’ll be outside the city limits, digging through the $ 1.29 dresses.

This is a boutique Goodwill and I am so glad that I happened upon it.
All of the items are higher end, and their prices are higher end to match. But I appreciate that someone else has gone through the trouble to sort through all of the donations and put the cream of the crop in one GW location. I didn’t mind paying more for the convenience.
If I were local, I’d swing by this place pretty often to see what new stuff they had.

The prices at this store were nauseating. Canning cars at every other Goodwill in the area at .29 to .49 cents each. Here it had a sign that said «20 cents each unless otherwise priced.» They all were priced at .99 cents and higher. If I wanted, I could buy brand new jars at a cheaper price elsewhere. Shoes smelled of cat urine. NO BOOKS! A hooded sweatshirt for 29.99. No thanks.
I will not ever return to this Goodwill unless I’ve a desire to blow money pointlessly. I will continue to frequent the Goodwill stores that know how to raise money for the worthy causes they support. That’s more important that catering to the «boutique» needs of the hipster city crowd.

This Goodwill is a lot smaller than the one in Ballard but there are so many nice finds here. I think because it is situated in a more affluent area (South Lake Union), you can find more name brand items. During today’s thrift store hunt, I found several Ann Taylor blouses for $ 7.50, brand new looking REI jacket for $ 13, and a Northface jacket for $ 35. All of the items were in pretty decent shape. My recommendation is that if you plan to buy more than $ 85 worth of stuff, you should get the Chinook book for about $ 15. You’ll save a bunch of money by using their 20% coupon.

I will echo other reviewers that this place does have a great plate selection for being tiny, I have done pretty well in that area. However, even though it is boutique it really doesn’t stack up next to a regular goodwill. I would say this is a great goodwill for people who normally don’t like thrifting. Or beginning thrifters. Their manager’s specials seem really good until you notice the long list of exceptions. If you are looking for something its still best to stick with the other thirft stores in the area as this one is by far the tiniest and most pricey.

This is a boutique Goodwill. It’s smaller and the items are in better shape/​care and brand than regular goodwill. Prices reflect the selection. Tiny housewares area and maybe a few furniture pieces, but it’s mostly female clothes.
Staff are incredibly nice. :)

Boutique-​style Goodwills should be labelled as Blue, so we have an idea of what to expect.
If I happen to be in the area for another reason, I would stop here, but I wouldn’t go here specifically. Thanks anyway!

This Goodwill is a take in another direction compared to the others. It definitely feels a lot more upscale in terms of what they carry, which personally feels a little strange because it’s something I’m not used to at a thrift store. I guess it’s good. Needs parking though as you’re left to fend for yourself hunting for street side parking. At least most spots are free after 6pm (so far).
The actual space is very small compared to others I have been in but the selection is fair if not a bit pricier comparatively. But man is it organized! Pristine even. Very easy to find items. Found a bunch of cute baby clothes for only $ 15 and was very satisfied. This store doesn’t have the space for large furniture items or tons of electronics but it does seem to carry the kind of stuff that the Eastlake demographic likes.
Be prepared and bring your own Goodwill reusable bag and save 5 cents on your purchase or pay 5 cents for a paper bag.
Service was very friendly which I appreciated. Overall I like this store but I prefer the larger Goodwill on Dearborn just because I like the sheer size and breadth of selection.

This is a Goodwill? Are you sure? This doesn’t look like any Goodwill I’ve been to.
The store was very nicely arranged and very clean. It looked more like a boutique or consignment store than a thrift store. Apparently this is considered a «boutique» Goodwill.
You might not find dirt cheap clothes here but this location seems to carry nicer items than your average dingy Goodwill. I saw some Burberry shirts, many designer jeans, and other nicer scale items. Honestly the prices didn’t seem out of line to me for what they were selling.
I love a bargain and this was no exception!

By far my favorite thrift store in the area. Stuff’s not dirt cheap like some places but you find really good quality and even upscale stuff — especially shoes and handbags.
I’ve bought Italian leather J. Crew flats, metallic Banana Republic flats… Lots of tops from Express, a wool coat from Calvin Klein. And there are lots of gems that are less expensive, too.
The only drawback: few dressing rooms.
