Glocap Search

I was contacted by Glocap on two occassions several years apart. I was actually in the job market both times so it was convenient. The first time I worked with Peggy (no longer there) who was great to work with. Very professional and put in a lot of effort in finding me a job that would potentially work for me. While I did not end up selecting the position she had introduced me to I walked away feeling good about my experience.
The second point of contact came a few months ago when I was put in touch with Shauna. I sat down and told her what I was looking for and that relocation (San Fran, NYC or Denver) was acceptable to me. I never heard from her again after that meeting with the exception of a happy halloween e-​mail. I followed up asking her if she had found anything but it was clear zero work had been done on my behalf. While she was very nice, I would have appreciated some sort of contact notifying me of the results of any search she had performed (good or bad). Thankfully I was not solely dependent on them and found a job through other resources.

I was new to the Seattle area so I called a few recruiting agencies who were representing jobs I was interested in. I left a voicemail with GLOCAP, but given the response rate of most voicemails I figured my chance of hearing from them was slim to none. The following Monday I received a phone call from Shauna and the rest is history!
In my time working with GLOCAP I worked exclusively with Shauna S. and Shauna C. They were both incredibly professional and did a fabulous job polishing me up so that I shined in front of my perspective employer. For example, I walked into their office with a vague idea of what I was looking for, but when I left their office I had a fine tuned pitch that would knock the socks off my future interviewers. I can’t recommend the two Shaunas enough!

A quick note: GLOCAP is not for your everyday recruits. They work with and place true professionals. (ie. suit up!) When I interacted with GLOCAP I was a recent college grad looking for my first job after graduating. They worked with me because I had stellar grades and some good previous internship experience. I’m not saying you have to be a Harvard Grad to work with them, but you do need to bring some great grades or impressive work experience in order to engage with them.
