I will have to try and make it back here some day — because our experience today was frankly over the top whacky. I have never had such a non-​service event. We literally were there for over an hour just trying to have breakfast. The food when it finally arrived wasn’t bad but literally the wrong food — but at that point we just ate it.
Friendly people, pleasant space (except for the burning smell from the kitchen). I really wanted to like it and believe in supporting earnest businesses but I am not sure this one will make it. Will try again though.

This place is definitely worth a visit! Their mission is intentional, and the food is delicious. I came here with kids, and they devoured their eggs and bacon. The owners are super friendly, and it offers a real laid back, farm to table vibe. I love supporting spots like this – it’s a great addition to the neighborhood!

Best breakfast I’ve had in a while. Nothing fancy, nothing unusual — just the basics done perfectly — 2 eggs, 2 sausage, and a giant pancake for just $ 8.
And it’s an incredibly good place to support — they have a 22 acre farm in Duval that they use to source food, run a CSA, give to charity, and educate young people about healthy food. Take the time to support this neighborhood gem

I stumbled upon this café while looking for a cozy spot to kill some time. Their sign said «closed» though they were actually open (or maybe just about to open?). I ordered/​guzzled a deliciously creamy chai latte, but didn’t have a chance to try any of food.
I got the impression that this place is new. The interior is almost sparse feeling and the menu is written on a dry erase board.
Service was quick and the barista cheerfully recommended their oatmeal for next time.

Great menu, bright, inviting space, free WiFi and nice staff? This place is wonderful. And they’re doing farm fresh food in a neighborhood that currently doesn’t offer much. Definitely worth a visit!
