Was turned on to this place by a friend who’s a regular and am so happy he told me about it. Love this place, especially for working. Great location, really good food and coffee, plus they have wine and a really nice selection of beers(got to keep those creative juices flowing.) Lots of good seating and electrical outlets. Highly recommended.

I feel so fortunate to have Freshy’s in my neighborhood! When I think of a «neighborhood coffee shop,» Freshy’s surpasses this completely. Not only do they have great coffee but they’ve really created an environment for their patrons. They’ve got cozy seating, a fireplace, a restaurant-style booth, tables, a long bar, and even an arcade game. Of course they have free Wi-Fi but they also offer an EXTENSIVE rotating SOUPMENU! I am consistently impressed by their soups to the point of sitting at home craving them and making the trip to try their newest varieties. It seems all of the employees contribute to the soup menu and it’s quite an eclectic result. I am really excited to have Freshy’s in my neighborhood and I hope it doesn’t go anywhere anytime soon.

Limited sandwich menu with four meaty products to choose from. They were out of two(ham and tuna) at 1:15 due to a «rush» earlier, according to staff. I had turkey, Swiss, Dijon and red onion. Meh. Couldn’t taste the mustard or onion. The cod/saffron/fennel soup was tasty. .. kind of tom-yummish. .. but there was no fish in it! Staffer who brought lunch to the table responded to my «thanks very much» with«yeah.» I’d seen her talking to «regulars» quite cheerily before, so needless to say, I didn’t feel very welcome. The topper was the really bad, heavy-metal grunge blaring in this crowded, claustrophobic place. Not conducive to a relaxed lunch. I won’t be going back.

When I think of a neighborhood coffeeshop, Freshy’s is it. Versatile to catch up with friends, host meetings or get work done, Freshy’s is relaxed and friendly. I’ve noticed that coffeeshops now a days are super modern and rigid, but Freshy’s is the opposite. There are open spaces to sit, socialize or people watch but also quaint nooks and crannies to focus on your own work. Sandwiches are handmade to order and really good. Everything is available here or to go. The baristas will learn your name and greet you when you walk in the door. PARKINGTIP: the street parking that shares Freshy’s sidewalk is 1 hour between 7am-6pm(BOOOO!!). I suggest parking on the opposite side of the street or around the block by the school.

I really love Freshy’s. It’s not within walking distance for me, but I make the trek anyways for great service, good food and a very comfortable atmosphere. It’s a little loud so if you’re planning on getting work done then bring headphones if you’re easily distracted. It personally doesn’t bother me though.

I really like the coffee and sandwiches here. They make it once you order so it always tastes great. I think the atmosphere is nice to get some work done or causally hangout without the loud noise. Only draw back is lack of power outlets if you have a laptop.

This place is delicious! It’s not pretentious, so don’t expect the interior to reflect the quality of food. Best soup and sandwich spot I’ve come across in a while. And the people that work here are totally charming.

The friendliest people work here. And their«drip» coffee is made on a press and it’s delightful. They had house made strata on the counter and they were playing modest mouse in the café. Cutesy, artsy, and friendly. Not sure what more you could want from a local coffee place.

The atmosphere in here is nice & very friendly. The variety + quality of products, snacks and coffee they have is A+. They have kombucha, pre-made green juice, house made soup and tiny donuts. I usually come here for an hour or two to work and always enjoy my time. Rumor is everyone loves their grilled cheese but I haven’t tried it.

I enjoyed my third visit today. Food was great as was the coffee. One suggestion — turn down the music as it was very loud.

This little place is a surprise. Everyday neighborhood atmosphere and food but with flavors and combinations of high cuisine. Super nice, friendly staff.

This is the cute, casual, non-corp, local spot where you get super friendly service, tasty food– many items made on the spot like Strata. They let pups come in and hang out, too. Prices are what one can expect for a W. Sea business, nothing ridiculous.

Best sandwich I ever had(salami and mozzarella). I even called to tell them so. It’s not in my neighborhood but I will definitely be back

We were looking for a quiet and comfortable place to get some work done. This was a great place for that. The staff is friendly and there are several kinda of seating options. Booth, tables, couches, a bar/counter. They have a great healthy food and drink menu with food all made and prepared in house. There is plenty of free parking along the street outside. You should have no problem finding a spot. They have free WiFi. Only negative thing was some of the music. It was a little too loud and some of it was a little annoying. I would definitely come back and I really want to try their homemade clam chowder.

On a great sunny day, we wanted to stop by to do some work before our next adventure. As soon as we got inside, we were impressed. The design, the look, the tables, and the music made it a wonderful atmosphere to sit and enjoy your work time. We decided to get some drinks. I ordered Chai latte and Brew Dr.Kombucha. The Chai tasted great, warm, and foamy. The service is amazing, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by smiley happy staff who did their best to offer us their best drinks. I love how this place is clean and organized. Even their restroom is clean as well. Definitely coming back to this place again.

It’s hard to find fresh and yummy breakfast in this neighborhood. This place has the breakfast sandwich nailed. I can’t believe we didn’t know it before. The coffee was also excellent and the vibe is totally relaxed.

Stopped in to Freshy’s today to grab a coffee. I’ve driven by for years and never had the occasion to stop in for a coffee. Today was my day! It’s Sunday so I figured it would be a ghost town. As I walked in I noticed they have some soft cushy seats around, but there plenty of people around. I walked up to the counter to figure out what to get, «what to get». I waited for a bit, nothing. I couldn’t figure out who was working there? My lost look must’ve grabbed the attention of one of the patrons who literally said«Dude, the person that works here is out for a smoke right now.» Not they’ve stepped away, not that they had to run to the lavatory. I walked back out coffee-less. Oh, well, one terrible experience is not the end of the world, but it does make for a poor review.

Not sure how this coffee shop got 4 ½ stars… But the quality of the coffee was under par. The iced Americano I got was watered-down(not because of the ice). Friendly people, but kind of dark inside and not super spacious. If I were passing through West Seattle again I would stop at Caffe Fiore instead.

— Nice cozy place — Good food & coffee — Friendly servers I needed a place to study in the WS area and found Freshy’s. It’s a pretty good place if you’re in need to get some work done. The servers are friendly and the breakfast sandwich is on point. The only knock I have against this place is the WiFi is a bit slow, but other than that I would recommend it!
