Fresh and Ready Meals

Pretty standard american food. It’s ok and incredibly helpful not having to figure out a few meals a week. I can’t say I enjoy the food necessarily but it does the job. Would be great to have some international dishes. We do love how they allow the food to cool prior to packaging in plastic containers.

Well I can’t review whether their meals were good or not as they never delivered the ordered meals to me. Never answered my email either. Could it be because I was able to find a coupon for free first order??? hmmmmm well you shouldn’t have it available if you will not stand behind it. Good thing I also put in an order with Dinners Ready! Very happy with all of the meals that I have ordered with them. Sorry Fresh and Ready you lost a potential customer.

Heck yes! This service is amazing. I saw an advertisement on Facebook and thought hmmm… what’s this about. It’s about good food and serious convenience for this busy gal who doesn’t always have the time, energy or desire to shop, cook and and clean. The food is delivered to your door in easy to read packaging. Reheat per easy instructions and you’ll have a delicious and satisfying meal in minutes. Where has fresh and ready been my entire adult life?!

If it weren’t for this company, my family would starve. Seriously. I love the IDEA of cooking but with a one year old, I just… sometimes I just can’t. I’ve been using this service for at least 6 months and have yet to see a meal repeated (and I wouldn’t mind if they did, they’re all awesome!). They call my cell when they arrive to avoid waking my baby. They’ve come around the back of the building to leave it at my doorstep, they are just great. The thing is, I would rather not eat out now because I worry about the integrity of the food (too much butter/​salt/​sugar) and with FARM, I know they make it with healthy standards and I feel the same satisfaction as cooking my own meal!
It’s Friday night, I was exhausted. I was SO happy to have a FARM meal left in the fridge to heat up and make for the family because I had ZERO energy to cook.

I was dubious at first but intrigued enough to try it. At first it seemed a bit of an investment for folks who scrape to get by: it seems like we’re always broke and so much of the budget gets poured into a weekly grocery trip that results in surprisingly little I actually want to make, produce wilts as quickly as my motivation to make a meal with it.
The thing I really like about Fresh and Ready is that I spend less for three family dinners than I would have if I bought the groceries for them, plus there is no stress of «dear god what will I make for dinner tonight/​this week.» For us (two working parents and a 1 year old) this is ideal. When my baby and I come home from day care and work respectively we get to hang out and play while the dinner heats up, rather than me splitting my attention between entertaining him while prepping some paltry meal hobbled together in the flash of the moment. When I first saw the portions I didn’t think there was enough, but when our meal is done we are always sated and there are sometimes leftovers. Our meals are also waaaaaaay more relaxed than they were previously!
And then there is the quality. I must state that I despise frozen meals and prepackaged convenience fare. The Fresh and Ready meals definitely have my approval when it comes to tasty food made with love. The meals feel like something that was done properly, that someone really made for you.
