I’ve visited this shop several times, although I have yet to buy anything from them yet. I work on my own bikes, but if I come across something I can’t handle, this would be one of the few shops I would consider taking my freeride/downhill bike to be serviced at. They have a small but decent selection of helmets, armor, and gloves on hand in various sizes from various brands, so that you can try things on and figure out what fits you. They also carry some really nice completes and framesets that I drool over, since they’re way out of my price range. I believe they sell bikes on consignment too, so you might luck out and find a reasonable deal on something that works for you. This shop is tucked away right off the water, so don’t be discouraged if it seems hard to find if it’s your first time. It’s a pretty well known mountain bike shop so I’m confident they’ll be around for along time. They also sponsor local competitions so that’s pretty cool. Note that, like most specialized shops, they’re closed Sun/Mon.

Thanks Jerry! I visited two shops trying to get my suspension fixed on a brand new bike. Even the shop I bought the bike at wanted me to wait. I walked into the shop, didn’t even have to explain other then«ITSNOTRIGHT» and Jerry had the part in the back room and under the knife. I browsed the good selection of DVDs, Parts, Shoes, Pads and bikes I cannot afford at the moment while my suspension was fixed. I walked out with a killer deal on a roost guard, a local DHDVD and my suspension in working order. I was a happy camper and Jerry took the time to let me know what they have experienced with certain products I was interested in. He and Zeb have spent enough time around bikes to earn my confidence when they give advice. I will be bringing my business back.

Fair warning: This is a Downhill MTB focused bike shop. Probably not the best shop for your cross country bike needs, however I have picked up several items for my XC bike and prefer support of this shop over others so I will call them to see if they have the part I am looking for before going to another shop for XC equipment. I have been building a DH bike and am a total novice and barely know the names of parts on my bike. They have been extremely patient with me and very willing to help. They also have a surprising amount of parts on hand for such a small shop. I had two wheels built there as well. They literally turned one of them around in less than 3 hours even though I told them 3 days would be fine.
