This is a great work out, and the teachers are excellent. Most of the time, I find new workouts to be very intimidating, but FIT by Red is very newbie friendly. They have a class specifically designed for figuring out the basics(Kettlebell 101). This keeps it safe and fun. You can retake 101 class as many times as it takes for you to feel comfortable with the moves. The other students are very accepting and encouraging, which helps too. Everyone is different and maybe it won’t be the workout for you, but it’s at least worth a try.

I work near Fit by Red and thought it would be a convenient alternative to the big Gym memberships. So far I have done 2 classes and enjoyed them. I got a little muscle sore(in a good way– so I new I was actually working) as I wasn’t used to the new movements. The instructors are punctual, very friendly, they looked out for my personal strength level, and walked me through the basics in a way that I was able to pick up fairly easily. I would recommend others give it a try!

I went while visiting my former home and am glad I stopped by this bastion of sweat. The facility was compact and clean in a cove in the capitol hill neighborhood. Great warm up lasted about 20 minutes and then the bootcamp began, more boot than camp. Lots of burpees, kettle ball action, mountain climbers followed by a brief respite to clean off your brow and then repeat *5. Nice crowd, good coach. Id go again if I was lucky enough to be living in Seattle.
