It’s healthy fast food! Took me forever to decide what I wanted, and once I got to the register, they were out of it anyway(special tomato soup)! So, I took more time and got my second choice(spinach and chicken, with tofu instead of chicken). I got it as a salad, my friend got the regular as a wrap. The salad was really good, and I added some of their feel-good brand sriracha towards the end, which was pretty good(not very spicy, more tomato-y). My friend’s wrap came cold, and she would have preferred warm/hot — but wraps are typically cold, so no points against anyone. The folks working were super friendly and mega fast. The atmosphere is cool, well thought out, but the tables are a bit small. We also got smoothies — the avocado one. Really well done, super smooth. Crazy smooth, in fact. Tasty! I’m gonna be back to get that soup!

This location is rather small and always seems to be busy so it’s hard to get through the store and the waiting area is practically nonexistent. On a nice day, the lighting is nice and it has a nice, upbeat atmosphere though. I think the smoothies are good but a bit overpriced. $ 6.95 for 16 oz. If you want something green but are afraid it’ll taste too much like a salad, try the avocado smoothie. It has the perfect amount of green with tartness and a really smooth avocado base.

I really don’t understand why people like this place so much. This is just a compilation of(at least what I got) of greens. It seems like it would be good but when I put it in my mouth, everything was just mush and not a tasty texture. I was very disappointed since this place had high reviews and was pricey for half a bowl small bowl(initially disappointed that they didn’t even fill up my bowl since it was already small). I personally won’t be coming back. Any time soon.

I’ve been to this Evolution Fresh a few times. It’s for the most part good and cozy. This store is not terribly large but it’s in a good location in the U Village. There’s good lighting too when the sun is out. I usually get the Smooth Blue smoothie. The most recent one I didn’t find it to be that sweet and flavorful unfortunately. I think it has to do with the ingredients since they don’t add any extra sugars so maybe it was just a bad batch? The piece of fruit I managed to eat did not taste sweet.

Evolution Fresh is a consistent stop if I’m ever in the U district near UW. The whole menu is not only tasty but good for you! Their ingredients all mix well together and have options for proteins to add if the salad itself doesn’t contain it to begin with. I usually don’t get the smoothies or to go wraps but know that those tend to be very popular among shoppers or people working in the area. Inside seating is noisy so I prefer outside,(so only 2 – 3 months out of the year in Seattle), but the interior has a nice clean look. For the price I would say that it is totally worth it. Always enjoy my lunches here and would recommend any of their locations if you’re looking for a good lunch that you can feel good about. I usually get Melodie’s kale salaad with chicken.

I went in expecting this place expecting it to be just an average burrito wrap factory. I ordered the Southwest bowl with chicken, and it was delicious. Really good flavors, well put together and clean. That’s high praise from me!

Best healthy fast food ever. Lentils, brown rice, veggies, kale, butternut squash, quinoa highlight the menu. And it tastes Good. Great concept.

Great smoothies… but I was surprised that there was no handicap accessible seating inside. I took my older brother(who is in a wheelchair and needs help eating) and we were both shocked that all the tables inside(even the one designated for wheelchair use) came up to his forehead. Super weird. Who cares if it looks trendy if it’s not accessible to everyone.

Heart healthy, nutrient-filled, hip, and bursting with flavors. Evolution Fresh offers a simple menu of handcrafted juices, smoothies, salads, wraps and bowls. This place is an excellent healthy on-the-go option. I have enjoyed the sweet beet juice, the smooth super avocado smoothie, the smooth kale smoothie, and Kevin’s quinoa salad with organic kale, butternut squash, black beans, grape tomatoes, feta, fresh herbs, and mild Harissa sauce. The juice and smoothies have a delicious combination of fruit and vegetables. The salads have a perfect blend of sweet and savory with crunch to each bite. The cold-pressed juices are available bottles or on-tap. Although some customers are turned-off that the juices are not fresh squeezed on site, I actually appreciate the promptness and convenience that this ready-to-go option offers to us as consumers. I have visited the downtown Seattle and U-village locations. The downtown location was hopping on a weekday during lunch time, and the line moves fast. It is a small space, and there are a few tables and chairs outside to sit and enjoy lunch. The U-village is almost empty whenever I visit, and the spaces offer more ample seating options. Service is always friendly and prompt. Prices range from $ 4.95-$ 6.95. The quality product and convenience is worth the cost. I would come more often if the prices were a little lower.

Meh. Everything tastes good, but I don’t know if it’s really worth the price. I like that they offer a discount for UW students(just show your husky card!) and have a punchcard system though!

Today I went to Evolution for lunch, planning on just getting one of the green smoothies. However, they were announcing that they were now serving Acai bowls and a green smoothie bowl. I got excited because I love my smoothie bowls and opted for a green smoothie bowl instead. I wish I hadn’t. First of all, I ordered it to go and they filled up the container maybe less than half with the smoothie. As I watched them put toppings on, they cut up less than half of a banana and threw it on, maybe five blueberries, and a small spoonful of granola. When they handed it to me, the toppings were sinking in a goopy, watery green mess. Smoothie and açai bowls are supposed to be FROZEN! On top of that, the smoothie had no flavor whatsoever and I had to carefully take my bites so I could have a tiny bit of my toppings with each bite. Very disappointed and won’t be trying it again.

Evolution Fresh is pretty darn good! They don’t make their juice in store. The juice comes out of a spigot in the wall which is a bit odd and not as fun of an experience as watching someone hand-press your juice. However, it’s efficient and less labor-intensive. And, I’m sure their processes are one of the reasons their prices are pretty competitive for what they’re offering(20 seconds to pour a juice rather than 5 minutes to make a juice). I had the avocado smoothie(16oz.) for $ 6.95 plus tax which is a good price in my opinion. Seems like many juice places are charging $ 8 – 10 for smoothies these days. The smoothie was tasty and creamy. Perfect for a light meal. The food options look tasty– a variety of bowls, sandwiches, wraps, etc. but nothing looked too exciting. I think I could make any of it at home; it’s just grab and go healthy food. They serve shots of wheat grass which always makes me roll my eyes. Friendly people working here!

Better healthy drinks and smoothies than Jamba on other side. why spend $ 6 on 450 ml when u can get 1.89 litres for $ 10LOL. organic apple only, as orange was just cold pressed. high loft style and a bit cramped. lots of quiona food options. AMEX good. located beside Avedo.

ImPressed! This was a nice place to grab a healthy snack while shopping in University Village. The guy who rung me up was friendly and courteous. I sat outside with my juice and it was a good vibe in the Seattle summer sun.

I love the all natural and fresh ingredients used in every meal option at this place. Jamba Juice competes next door to them, and while Jamba Juice is delicious it also is quite sugary in comparison. Evolution has less artificial tasting beverages. I ordered the Strawberry, Blueberry, Banana with apple juice fresh smoothie. It was good. The service was speedy and the smoothie tasted just as I expected. The price is a bit expensive with 7.50 for a 16oz. I could make the same thing at home with equal taste for way cheaper. Pro tip: I used a buy one get one free coupon in UW’s student survival kit(available at the bookstore) to order this.

I came here once and get their avocado smoothie. It was not what I expected it to be. It was not bad, but definitely not worth the 7 $ I dished out for it. I came here again for their wraps, my friend got the quinoa butternut squash and I got the avocado corn one and we swapped halves. They were both pretty good and fresh. Overall an okay experience. Nothing to rave about.

Going up one here as Evolution Fresh is growing on me, especially their salads and juices. I really like the tuna and spinach salad with tahini infused dressing. Still don’t get the hot soupy vegetable bowl concept taste wise, but the salads taste fine and are healthy and the employees, über friendly. If you treat this place as a healthy salads and wraps place and spendy-ish juice place, its not a bad option when compared to others. It’s not foodie, it’s fast food, but it’s not evil.

I first checked out Evolution Fresh at a Unilocal Elite event and I’ve been a fan since. At the beginning of this year, I tried the Evolution Fresh juice ritual. It was tough but worth it. I did feel better afterward and learned a lot. I called ahead and put my juices on hold the day of and the service was great. After drinking almost nothing but these juices for 4 days, I can tell you a thing or two about the pre packaged ones: Sweet Greens: by far my favorite. For a little more calories(70 I believe), you can get green juice that actually tastes good thanks to the little bit of fruit in there. Essential Greens: these aren’t awful but after 8 of them, I grew to dislike them. It’s a great detox drink here and there but I just had way too many. They’re not sweet or anything. Drink in moderation. Essential Vegetable: this is much heartier and quite tasty. This is great if you like carrot juice. Also, these have beets. I hate beets but thank goodness you can’t even taste it! Spicy Lemonade: it was a little wierd for me. Wasn’t feelin’ it. Pineapple Coconut Water: Oh so good! If you’re just looking to hydrate and enjoy a drink and not for any particular nutrients you get from green juice, this is the way to go. I also really like the fresh made carrot juice, rice bowls, simmers and collared green wraps I’ve tried at various events here. The juice ritual is a little more reasonably priced than most juice cleanses which is a great option. It’s also worth noting that some of the more common juices may be available for less at your local grocery store but all in all, I enjoy Evolution Fresh as a brand and would definetely come here for a healthy lunch and juice!

Just overheard a mother and her daughter complain to the manager why there isn’t an evolution in LA. Seattle products and seattle based companies are just way too awesome. Ended up having a coupon for BOGO smoothies, so dh had smooth blue and I opted for the super smooth avocado.

If you are a fan of fresh juice or some healthy eats, this is a place for you! I came here the first time for a Unilocal event, ever since I’ve fallen in love with this place. I tried to juice myself. I actually purchased a Blendtech. However, my juice never tasted good. I decided to tried their juice. I purchased 3 packs(18 bottles). Because of the expiration date, you don’t have to take all three packs home at once. You can pick up the rest after you finish your pack. They give you a prepaid punch card. My experience in store was always nice. Clean store, friendly staff. Even with free food or coupon, they didn’t give me attitude. Other than juice, they also have healthy food menu that designed by Starbucks corporation chef. I’ve tried their veggie burger. It was very good. If you like healthy life style and money is not your concern. You may like and enjoy this place.
