I feel that there is a real divide in Seattle: good coffee comes from café storefronts and mediocre to outright sh***y coffee comes from drive through stands. Up until now, I haven’t found good(let alone really good) coffee coming out of a drive through. Enter Electric Cloud. Located immediately south of the Fremont Bridge, this little hipster drive through Mecca offers nitro cold brew on tap, dangerously smooth espresso, and local pastries at a reasonable price. Getting in to get your drive through fix on can be a little hairy, though. Making a right onto Florentia as you go south on the Fremont Bridge is how I usually get into the lot with Electric Cloud. If you find yourself driving past Bleitz Funeral Home, you’ve gone about 150 feet too bar. On top of this, the gal who owns this place recognized me after only a couple of visits. Party on Wayne!

I just tried this place for the first time when I was on my way home from an errand. I wanted something quick and high-quality and this spot was perfect! It’s a little bit awkward trying to turn into the lot that the stand is on when you’re first turning off the Fremont bridge, and there’s really not any room to back up or wait in line in your car if needed. The customer service was just ok. Not overly friendly but not terrible. The reason I would still recommend it is because the coffee was excellent, and there aren’t very many drive thru coffee spots that have great coffee in the area. Stumptown is the best and I’m so glad there’s a place to pick some up when I’m on the go! I got a vanilla latte and it was prepared really well. I want to go back for breakfast burritos!

For being a little shack, this place had very good breadfast burritos and teas. I just wish the seating arrangement was a bit better than the table and chair set up immediately in front of the place.

I absolutely love this place. I drive out of my way to come here for the breakfast burritos and hemp lattes. Hannah is super cool too. You can’t go wrong here.

Breakfast burritos have always seemed only just better than going hungry to me EXCEPTHERE. I don’t know why I first ordered one, given my history of disappointment with them, but theirs was just staggeringly good. Really. I was shocked. The service is great — warm and personal– and the coffee is tasty but that burrito was something else again.

Great people. Stump Town Coffee. Awesome breakfast burritos. As someone that works mainly from his car, it is always nice to find a drive up coffee shop with charismatic people working in it. More often than not you will pull up to a drive thru window and find a barista with the same amount of personality as the instant coffee dispenser at your local 7 – 11. These people make me happy to go out of my way and to support a fantastic business.

I was out running around Lake Union on my first day visiting Seattle, and ran into Electric Cloud. I’d wanted to stop by Café Vita, but got lost and couldn’t find it, and honestly I’m glad I couldn’t. The guy and girl in Electric Cloud didn’t blink at me showing up in their window in running clothes, and made me the best macchiato I’ve ever had. Not one of those ridiculous, syrup-laden mini-cappucinos that you get other places — a short double shot of espresso, and a dollop of foam. My only regret is I didn’t let them talk me into having a breakfast burrito.

I rarely write reviews, but I do drink a lot of coffee from really good shops. And here I just have to say… the guy at Electric Cloud has made me the some best lattes I’ve had in years. Seriously and highly recommended.

They serve stumptown coffee which is one of my favorite NW roasters. The coffee is rich and smooth and worth the walk even though Tully’s is right across the street from my office. The owners are also very friendly and cool people. I mean its a coffee stand what else do you want beside delicious strong coffee and friendly service. I’m a regular.

Great coffee. Really great. And this is coming from a guy whose taste buds have been pleasantly numbed by Starbucks for years. Some places, like this one, ETG in Fremont, and Coffee Beanery in S.F. make me forget about Starbucks for a little while. Also love that they offer hemp milk, which tastes so rich and decadent, I forget it’s actually good for you. Also love their breakfast burritos, particularly the meat one. Seems to just be a very pleasant lady in what looks like a repurposed 8×8 tool shed, who just knows how to make great coffee drinks and breakfast burritos. One of my favorites in Seattle. I will miss it.

I love this place. Delicious coffee. Amazing homemade breakfast burritos. Convenient drive/bike/walk thru. Hannah is really friendly. But always takes care of business first if it’s busy. The prices are normal for quality espresso(in Seattle).

I haven’t done this reviewing thing in awhile but I have to do one for this one. Electric Cloud coffee is my go-to coffee in town. When you become a regular, Hannah remembers the exact way you like your coffee and I have to say that hands down make the best coffee for me in town. I have no idea what da heck Jordan H. making judgments about Hannah and Mike being not genuine. They are probably the most genuine and down to earth barista I have come across. She knows my whole family by name and even knows my son’s name! She also remembers what’s going on in my life from our conversations and asks about what’s going on. Also we talk about music a lot since they are both in a band and perform all the time. Connecting with people is a two way street you know? She is super kind, sweet and genuine. I am not even going to comment on the whipped cream piece… I am not going to make judgments about what somebody drink choices… Great coffee, very convenient and friendly service is the trifacta for a coffee shop and Electric Cloud Coffee has that. Go there and say hi. You will know what I mean. Side note: their breakfast burritos are pretty darn popular. I constantly see people buying them left and right.

The coffee was great, the barista was very nice and smiley. I requested to have latte made with heavy whipped cream, it tasted wonderful. It’s a drive thru that delivers what a good cup of coffee could leave you feeling– it picks your spirit up and make you happy.

I wanted to like this stand, but husband & I both agreed our coffees were quite disappointing & over priced! They also do not offer whipped cream, which means I cannot give you any business anyway. Barista was somewhat friendly, not genuine though. Sorry guys, still on the hunt for a good drive thru in the area.

The greatest little coffee shack in Fremont. * Über-convenient to Fremont. * They use(and sell) Stumptown’s amazing beans(fresh from the local roaster on 12th). * The drinks are really well-made. You can just tell when someone knows how to use their espresso machines. * Lots of organic and dairy-free and other fancy-worded options if that’s your jam. * Suspiciously good breakfast burritos and other tasty pastry/cookie options. Hannah and Mike, the owners, are basically the coolest. Always warm and friendly even on the coldest meanest Seattle days. Lovers of music and dogs and cars and travel. They are what’s right about Fremont.
