Wow, I accidently ran across the previous and recent bad review on Dr. Vance. Although reviews won’t affect her business since she is recently retired I would like to give my perspective to rebut the other review.
I saw Dr. Vance for about 10 months, and she helped me tremendously. She is professional, knowledgeable, non-​judgmental and kind. I have made great progress at having peace in my life, and I am in a much better place than before I started seeing her. Although I am sad that I cannot see her anymore, I frequently think about how grateful I am for the help she gave me. Dr. Vance is not a mean person and I noticed the review from the person below is not from a patient of Dr. Vance, but rather the ex– spouse, or ex-​significant other of one of her patients. It looks like sour grapes from a custody dispute… and inappropriate. That review says more about the writer of the review than Dr. Vance. Since the reviewer knows Dr. Vance is retired the motivation cannot be to help deter others from using her services, but rather appears to be more of an Internet smear and a personal attack. I believe if you are going to review a business or Dr. etc., on Unilocal or any other Internet site you should be a client who received services from that business or professional, and not an unhappy disgruntled third party.

Ellen Vance is pathetic creature, most unprofessional «psychologist» who got paid from my ex to describe be as a mother monster in my custody battle. She was doing «fear“related sessions with my little girl trying to teach her how «to protect ‘her from me.
I got primary custody and my ex got restraining order «thankfully» to Dr. Vance twisted show at the trial.
Dr.Vance is currently retired for good… no more paid sessions with children turning them against their mothers… because they are paid to do so!!!
