DrSnip – The Vasectomy Clinic

Had my vasectomy done today by Dr White. He is simply amazing, I was very anxious and he walked me thru it the whole step by step. Julie was amazing too and made me feel very comfortable. If your anxious and worried like I was rest assure that this is the best clinic out there and the procedure was done in less than 10 mins and I felt nothing! Dr whites bed side manner was top notch and his added humor really made things more comfortable. I can’t say enough good about the whole experience if you have to get it done go here.

I couldn’t possibly be happier to have had somebody (Dr. White) take a scalpel to my scrotum. Quick, painless, friendly, and professional.

From the time I first requested information to my post-​procedure follow up, my experience at the Vasectomy Clinic was extremely positive.
The procedure: I managed to work myself into a pretty impressive mental freak-​out (if my girlfriend wasn’t with me I might have run away), but it turned out to be no big deal. The staff does a great job of explaining everything and answering your questions, then the doctor comes in and does his thing — I had Dr. White, who was great. The procedure itself was quick and painless — a little bit of pressure, a few pinches, but nothing bad. Again, the worst part was my own overthinking. As long as I kept my focus on the office artwork and off the fact that someone was messing with my junk, everything was just fine.
The recovery: Dr. White called to check in the following day, but there was nothing to report. There was some very mild discomfort at times, but not enough to even warrant taking an Advil. I followed the doctor’s advice and took it very easy for a couple of days (doctor recommended couch/​Netflix time is awesome!) and everything was fine. While there was no significant discomfort or decreased mobility, I could definitely tell that something had happened down there. It took about two weeks for that feeling to completely go away.
The follow up: I did my final test last week to make sure the procedure was effective, and I am in the clear! Their testing schedule is really convenient and you get your results the same day, which was great.
So, overall, it was a great experience. If this is something you’re thinking about, I would definitely recommend checking out the Vasectomy Clinic.

Awesome and quick procedure pain was a 3 out of 10 but my nerves were worse then the procedure. Highly recommended

Had my «procedure» done at Dr Snip a few days ago. The whole experience from beginning to end was great.
To start, they had reasonable availability and hours on he weekend, so I could book within a week of calling. They emailed over the forms, so I didn’t have sit in the office doing them, which I appreciated. Would have been to fill out online, rather than PDF, but not bad. They checked my insurance and called me to advice on the (minor) co-​pay, which I appreciated too.
The consultation and brief were both friendly and professional. They walked through the details with my wife and me, confirmed alignment and consent, and we’re very clear about needed post procedure restrictions.
The procedure itself from Dr White was very fast. Dr White had great bedside manner, didn’t surprise me at anytime, and was a master of his craft. No pain or discomfort to speak of. Offered to let my wife come watch, though she declined… Probably best.
No pain after the event that a few Advil couldn’t knock out. Also Dr White called to follow up, which was nice. So far so good! If we end up with another kiddo though, I’ll update the post.

They do the procedure and consult at the same time. I disagree with this method for consulting patients. It is highly unethical and pressures patients into a decision they may end up regretting. I tried to support my husband’s choice but when he went in for a consult they did the procedure that very day. I told him before he went in that morning I was not on board and when he was in the back room I also told him to get up if they were performing the procedure and think about it. The doctors sell it as no side effects. Well, there are side effects. I am filing for divorce.
Secondly, they perform vasectomies on men with expecting wives/​partners. I was 14 weeks pregnant with a history of miscarriage at the time of the procedure. I was given grim news a week later at an ultrasound that I had a large blood clot in my uterus, an anterior placenta, and that the baby has a 50% chance to make it. These doctors should not be performing vasectomies on men who are with expecting women. The doctor knew I was expecting because my husband had told him that. It took me 9 years to get a baby boy and I feel his life was just unvalued. Now I have double the stress load. Not ethical at all.
They do these procedures on younger men. My husband is 32 years old. I find that unethical because Harvard reports that the chance of prostate cancer increases 10x the average male in vasectomies and that lethal forms of prostate cancer can occur at a higher rate in patients who receive vasectomies before the age of 38.
My husband, or soon to be ex-​husband also has had watery ejaculate (picture hand sanitizer and then its even a little more watery) and clear-​like. He has had blood clots in the ejaculate. He couldn’t walk a week after the procedure from the pain. It was an absolute nightmare. Now he wants me to give him $ 5000+ to reverse it. Sorry, not going to happen! I told him not to do it in the first place! He called around reversal clinics from here to Texas and they can’t help him for 6 months more. 6 months of no sex or sex with this watery sometimes blood clot ejaculate? No thanks. He offered to use a condom, uhm why didn’t you think of that before this life altering screw up! I will never bed up with a man who has had this procedure I’d rather get an IUD (funny I told him this before the procedure too!) I don’t even want to be pregnant in the future if this baby makes it but I just don’t want a guy with this procedure it is abhorrent. Women do suffer side-​effects as I do as well, hence the divorce rate.
Consultations need to be done prior to the procedure with a wait period, and men need to know that there can be side-​effects. If you really want a vasectomy go to any of these types of car salesman clinics and they will give you one. Then when you decide your life sucks and your wife is going to divorce you find another car salesman reversal clinic. Its all about big bucks folks. 1+ star for being a friendly salesman. I rarely leave a negative review but this warrants it completely.

Clean office, and friendly staff. Why only 2 stars? They don’t seem to care if you experience pain. The procedure was quick, as advertised. But painless? Hardly! I was barely able to handle the ride home. For two weeks i felt like my balls were twice normal size. Although they weren’t. Even through severe discomfort, all they would tell me was to eat aleve. F*** aleve, this hurts! I would suggest asking your doctor if they will prescribe pain medication before the surgery. You may not need it. I know several people who didn’t. But if you’re someone who does need it. You won’t want these guys as yiur doctor.

The entire experience was very easy, quick and comfortable. Dr Wilson is very professional and efficient. No pain whatsoever. Would highly recommend it.

First off I wanna say this. I would recommend this clinic to anyone out there who wants to get a vasectomy done in the most professional manor I have ever seen. The vasectomy clinic in sand point is not only very clean and very professional but they are very honest with you and tell you what to expect afterwards and when during the procedure and etc. I should know I got this done myself on October 2014 because this was a very easy decision for me because I don’t ever want kids and so does my girlfriend. But mainly I did this for myself as well. Anyways this was a decision I made was years and years in the making and I wanted to do and finally did it. The procedure was what it said it was on the website. Painless and you don’t feel a single thing. The only thing you will feel is the what it would feel if you put a rubber band on your wrist and let it slap you. It was very minor in my option. Anyways after the whole
Procedure I went home did what the doctor said. I was in very little to no pain at all during the time I was healing. It took about a week and I was up and waking again fine. But overall it took me 2 months and 5 days for me to be fully cleared and have no more worries at all. The whole experience was painless nothing happened as far no pain at all or anything. But everything I saw on the website was what the doctor said it was going to happened. I would recommend this clinic to anyone out there. This the greatest doctor and they have beyond nice staff and very understanding as well. Anyways I just wanna say thanks to you Doctor White for everything. I would again recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for something like this for themselves or whatever. It’s worth it

We’d heard about «Dr. Snip» from a friend who told us how great he was. However, we’re in Bellingham, so we were hesitant to pick someone «all the way» in Seattle. When a local physician decided my husband needed to see a specialist for the procedure, and we found out it was way more $ and weeks to get in to a local specialist, we called Dr Snip.
Not only did Dr Snip get us in right away (our insurance was changing and we wanted to get it done before our deductible went up), had we met him from the get-​go he would have been our first choice. Every single person in his office is helpful, knowledgeable and knows what they’re doing. Not only is he really competitively priced, he’s the most skilled and has so much experience. He even put my husband at ease, and, considering the procedure, that’s saying a lot.
After doing a consult with 2 other places, we also found out that there are plenty of other doctors still using the scalpel method. This will definitely increase your healing time over the method Dr Snip uses.
My husband waited quite a while to get tested but his procedure came out «all clear». And the reason he needed to see a specialist was no problem at all for Dr. Snip, who had no trouble performing the vasectomy. The procedure was probably 10 minutes. I drove my husband back to Bellingham, and he took it easy that day and was back to his normal activity level in no time.
We would both highly recommend Dr Snip (Wilson). He does only vasectomies and he knows what he’s doing. His method is the easiest, most pain-​free way to do it. When it comes to your balls, do them a favor, and pick this guy.

I am a 50 years old and because of some health issues with my wife, she can no longer take the pill, and we don’t like other type of protection.
I am over 350 lbs. right now. While this created some more work for the Dr. Even with that, I can tell you that this easier than I ever expected. And if I had been of a more normal weight there would have been almost no discomfort at all.
The no needle anesthetic was totally pain free. about the same as if you used your finger to flick a bug off your skin. After that because of my weight he had to inject some more anesthetic. but I didn’t really feel that after the pain free needle free system.
Dr. Wilson is both professional and has a nice chair side manner.
There has been very little pain after the recovery. much less than the ache after a good work out etc.
I am a total needle phobe etc. All my concerns seemed silly after it was over.
If you are sure you no longer want kids, this is the way to go. I can recommend as a place with a good staff and physician.

This is an important decision and I do not know of any clinic and physician that will walk you through it better (And I researched many of them being that I am a researcher for a profession). Their website is very informative and organized. Dr. Wilson is a genius and phenomenal. The procedure is quick and smooth. I am thankful I found out about Dr. Snip! Great nurses, office managers, and assisting doctor too! Thanks Dr. Snip!

Dr. Wilson and his staff were great. They made this as comfortable experience as we could imagine. Lots of good information up front, great bedside manner, and quick/​relatively painless technique. I strongly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr. Charles Wilson, aka, Dr. Snip for a vasectomy. He’s been performing/​perfecting this procedure since 1978. Hell of a nice guy and really good staff as well.
I can truly say my nerves got the best of it… but even they were assuaged by Doc Snip and his staff. They’re really good at putting the patient (me) at ease.
The procedure: quick & painless. I took the rest of the day off of work — a good «me» day but have had no ill effects from the procedure. In fact, it was hard to keep me at bay because I felt just fine… but they really caution against strenuous activity.
Chick (his nickname that he introduced himself to me) said that he was going to call me the next day to see how I was doing. Well I figured it would be his staff or an assistant… but he actually called me and asked how I was doing. Wow!
Anyway… don’t let your fear stand in the way — just go do it. :)

I agree with all the previous reviews. If you are lucky enough to find this clinic, you will like Dr. Wilson and his staff. Very friendly and professional. Also, no pain, quick and no babies.

Ok I’m certain it is hard for guys to write reviews on this, but hell I found him on Unilocal and had a great experience so I feel obligated.
NO ONE has had more anxiety about this than me. I’m super squeamish and hate this kind of stuff and admitted so when I arrived. You don’t need to know the dirty details but know first hand and most important that it doesn’t hurt at all! 10 minutes in and out and they give you worst case scenario type cautions but honestly it’s a piece of cake. Now embarrassed I didn’t have it done 7 years ago when my wife and I first talked about it.
Completely professional and understanding The Vasectomy Clinic was nothing short of top notch.

Dr. Snip is fantastic — we recently had our 3^rd child and decided we were ready to be done, and every step from the frank, informative, and comfortable tone of the initial paperwork, to the great staff in the office the day of the procedure, to Dr. Wilson himself, they’re just great.
It truly was no more painful than getting a filling done at the dentist — psychologically different of course, but honestly a breeze, and the recovery was similarly straightforward. You do really have to remind yourself *not* to exert too much, because you feel so much better so quickly.
It’s been 6 weeks now and next week is time to «verify» all was successful — looking forward to it. :)

This is the place to go if you are ready for a vasectomy! The staff is very friendly and professional. They provide detailed counseling and informed consent prior to the procedure. Dr. Chick Wilson is friendly and skilled! He has developed this no-​needle procedure & it is amazing! They recommend having two appointments: one for the counseling, one for the procedure, but if you are 100% sure they can combine both into one visit. I accompanied my husband with our young child and it was not a problem. We didn’t feel rushed & didn’t wait for more than a few minutes. Follow up only requires drop off of ‘samples’. If you call ahead they’ll let you know when someone is there to look at samples & tell you if there are any swimmers;)
