Downtown Dental Solutions

I’ve been seeing dentists in the medical dental building since I was a child. When my dentist retired, I ended up going through a few dentists who would come and go at this practice for a few years. Dr. Anderson has been here for a couple years now I believe.
He is very laid back and friendly. I recently had my first cavity and was pretty terrified to have it filled, but I experienced no pain and after topical lidocaine to my gums, I didn’t even feel the lidocaine injections.
I did have some sensitivity a few weeks afterward and had a trip to Europe the next day, so he fit me in right away to touch the tooth up and I haven’t had any issues since.

I love going to this dentist. Thought I’d never say that about a dental office, but every appointment I’ve had for the last year and a half has been great. Dr. Keever was very nice, but I’ve enjoyed the services from Dr. Anderson even more. He is very caring, kind and concerned. I recently had a crown replaced and he made it as comfortable and easy as possible. When I had a bit of pain a few days after the temporary crown was placed, he had me come right in and took care of the issue. A couple of days after the permanent crown, Dr. Anderson called to make sure I was doing alright.
I also truly have appreciated my hygienist. I have gum disease and, since I hadn’t seen a dentist for a few years due to lack of insurance, the pockets in my gum areas where pretty deep. She not only has done a great job in deep cleaning my gums, but has recommended several things I can do to help my gums. With her suggestions and the excellent cleanings provided, those gum pockets have shrunk considerably. She also talked with me about the crown I needed, but never pushed me to make a decision.
Lastly, I adore the office staff. They are very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Downtown Dental Solutions to anyone who’s looking for a great dentist office in the downtown core area

I was previously a patient of Dr. Keever, but awhile back obviously he stopped running this business. In comes Dr. Anderson, who I found amazingly gentle and friendly. I felt as comfortable as could be at a dentist office. The hygienist I see (regularly) always has great suggestions for my care.
I now see Dr. Dellisanti in the same office and I am thrilled with her as well. She called me to see if I was doing OK after a procedure and that was above my expectations. She pays great attention to detail and I’m very satisfied with both her and Dr. Anderson.

This was Dr. Keever’s practice, but he was railroaded out of it and is now in Issaquah with Dr. Ron Sherman’s practice, First Impressions Dental. The Downtown Dental Solutions employee I spoke with on the phone when I confirmed my appointment lied to me when I asked if I would be seeing Dr. Keever. I didn’t find out he was gone until I was at my appointment and the hygienist said I would be seeing Dr. Whatshisname and that Keever had «retired». The dentist I did see was similarly vague, said something about Keever wanting an «easier commute» (not true), and then told me I had TMJ. (Also not true.) Stay away from here – the dentist is a charlatan and the staff are rude and unprofessional. I have tried to get my records transferred to my new clinic, but so far all that Downtown Dental Solutions has sent is one set of Xrays from 2012. I was patient of Dr. Keever’s for seven years, so there’s a lot more in my chart than one set of Xrays! If you want to see a good dentist in the downtown area, I highly recommend Dr. Brewster Bede. Otherwise, head on out to Issaquah and see Dr. Keever – but whatever you do, don’t go to Downtown Dental Solutions!

I’ve been going to the dental assistant to get my teeth clean and never experienced the doctor until three months ago.
The staff is really friendly and I loved my dental hygienist and so is the doctor. He just seemed unprofessional with some of the things that he did. He pulled out his cell phone and started looking up music videos on YouTube which I thought was rude. Surround sound would be fine but not on your cell phone on the table next to us.
I was getting fillings replaced and right away be mentions that he may need to do a root canal if it doesn’t go as planned. that was really nerve-​wracking that he would even mention that. It seemed to go well until he had to get up twice to go check up on different patients. So I was left sitting there with huge holes in my teeth while he spent a good amount of time with them. It really made me uncomfortable.
Next he dropped something down my throat, which wasn’t OK. I wanted to leave instantly but knew that wasn’t going to happen when I wasn’t close to being done. He was apologetic to some degree, finished up and I left. I called my doctor and they said to get more information to see if I needed to come in. When I called the office he did fill me in and said he would call back in a couple of days which he did. My doctor said it was small enough to just pass so I was relieved. The whole experience was unnerving.
The bill with my services is sitting in front of me right now and I’m really apprehensive of sending in a check. I honestly used to love the dentist until this recent experience.
I’ve since went to a new dentist to check the filling as I’ve been having pain and she said I’ll have to get it capped and possible have a root canal. She said it wasn’t the dentists fault so that made me feel a lot better.
She did say that I have some deep pockets and will have to get a deep cleaning which I just had done with the hygienist at Downtown Dental so my money spent at Downtown dental was sort of a waste. Will not be going there again, ever.

Just terrible. They tried to upsell me on every service, screwed up 3 fillings (going to another dentist to get them fixed), and overcharged me. Their automatic notice system continued to spam me after I told them to stop. Just terrible. Hoping the new dentist is better.
Update: Spoke with Downtown Dental Solutions again today after receiving another bill over the weekend. They admitted they «forgot» to include a discount code for my insurance, so not only was the bill sent in error, but they owed me $ 13 for the overcharge at the time of service. Nice. Filed a complaint with Washington Department of Health. Future patients should definitely be aware.

For several years, dentists and staff have been replaced at this clinic without notice or explanation. This most recent group finally drove us to selecting another dentist. DDS recommended expensive cosmetic work that is not needed, and did periodontal cleaning on a family member that our new dentist said was not necessary, since any pockets were 2s and 3s. They know exactly what your insurance coverage is, and set up a payment plan that gets to those limits. They push products and services that are expensive but not needed by the patient. If you have a choice, go elsewhere.
