Super fast, genuinely nice baristas… beautiful space that’s also laid out effectively, so it’s easy to line up, place an order, and wait for your order without the bottlenecks and bizarre and awkward behaviors you have to go endure in other places nearby with incredibly stupid layouts. I like the friendly baristas who know how to make you feel welcomed and appreciated without creating a conversation neither of you really wants. great space for sitting down and enjoying your coffee there. best coffee and best coffee/​food purchasing experience in the Smith Tower-​to-​CHERRY ST part of Pioneer Square. Yes, I capitalized that street on purpose.

Love the environment! It’s definitely the nicest coffee shop on the block. The staff is real friendly and very chatty which I love! Got a snicker doodle latte (recommended by the staff) and it is delicious! Yum yum! Would highly recommend this place.

I was so excited when this place opened a few years ago. I really liked the coffee much better than Starbucks. They had great friendly staff, and Will, the manager now, has been a delight every time. Unfortunately, my last two experiences have made me decide that Starbucks is a better bet because of consistency.
I was in last week, mid-​afternoon. There was only one young lady working and she was waiting on the couple in front of me. After 15 minutes she was still waiting on them, chatting them up, ignoring the line that was forming. My break was over and I had spent it in line only to walk away empty handed.
Today I decided to be smarter than the average bear and called in my order. The young man who answered the phone acted as though it was an imposition for me to call in an order:
«let me find something to write on and something to write with…» He took my order and I asked how long until it would be ready. He said, and I quote «45 seconds.» I said, come on now, you don’t even make them that fast when I’m standing right there! He said it would be ready when I arrived.
I walked in and there was one person seated and none in line. I walked to the counter and said I was the call in order. The same slower than molasses girl was there and rang me up like her shift was over and she wanted to get out of there and barely had two words for me. The guy brought my beverage and sure enough it was ready. I took a sip while in there and all I got was chunks of ice that clogged the straw. So much for Will’s admonishment that all Chumley’s are double blended. I don’t think this thing got a complete single blending! It tasted okay but not as good as the ones Will makes. I didn’t complain, not wanting to deal with these delightful folks any more than I had to. I took my beverage back to my office. And here it sits, half full, waiting to melt so I can finally drink the rest of it 45 minutes after I purchased it.
The consistency of the flavor and blending has always been an issue at this place, but it’s gotten way out of hand. Where did the friendly, courteous staff go? There’s a Starbucks one block in either direction from my office and even when there is a long line they still get you in and out pretty quickly and the flavor is ALWAYS the same. Guess I’ll go back there for my treats. I wish the coffee wasn’t so bitter there… :(

Great people, great vibe, great coffee. I ask for no more. Oh, but also a good selection of delectables. Nice!

Putrid. Barista couldn’t make a cappuccino to save her life. I took one sip, left it on the bar and walked out.

I am going to just go for it: 5 stars as it’s hard to find a place with good drip coffee.
Theirs is pretty good. Good enough that it makes me want to grab it before work each day. And that’s coming from a huge coffee snob!
I also enjoyed their mint biscotti. Crunchy enough, but it had a pretty dense texture and nice minty topping.
I haven’t tried them yet, but I spotted really good selection of breakfast sandwiches and other breakfast treats, like oatmeal and yogurt with granola. Their pastries looked just OK. Maybe they taste better than they look?
There was a line with a couple people in front of me each of the two mornings I went there, but über friendly staff worked it really fast.
Get your coffee, and have a moment in their cream and sugar station staring at your reflection in the huge mirror. The lighting is dim and you will look good and get set for your day!

For coffee lovers this place is pretty strong. I’m not so much of a strong coffee person and more of a sweet person. However, the staff here is extremely nice and helpful.
The place is a normal size for a coffee shop. Not so big and not so small/​cramped.
Décor is more decorated like a earthy womanly tone (I mean come on. It’s called diva express). But it’s not like guys can’t come and relax here.

I LOVE Diva Espresso! They always take great care of everyone and make you feel like family!
Plus they have almond milk and always make the BEST Americano with steamed almond milk! #nomnomnom
