I did not have a good experience with Dr. Moan. This was my first time participating in naturopathic care, but I have experienced many different types of medical care before. Dr. Moan’s professionalism was one of the worst I’ve ever witnessed.
First of all, she has vials of blood everywhere. In her office, in the side room where she took my height and weight (so many that I couldn’t put my purse down on the table without knocking it into the vials), and there was even a vial free floating underneath the table in her office. How unprofessional!
Additionally, she had *horrible* bedside manner. For instance, she read my chart with my current medications, laughed to herself in a snarky manner, and then told me how I didn’t need to be on those medications. She also laughed to herself when I told her the brand of acidophilus I take, and then replied, «Well, the ones I sell here are much better than that.» Whether her medical opinion was accurate or not, her attitude was incredibly difficult to take. Another example is when she took my blood pressure. My blood pressure was average, but is typically on the low side. When I told her this, she said, «Do I make you nervous?» indicating that my blood pressure was higher than normal because she intimidates me. Which was rude, inappropriate, and most importantly it completely discounted my medical history I just finished going over with her (I was on a round of oral steroids, which raised my blood pressure). This unprofessional behavior continued throughout most of the appointment.
I’m rating her 2 stars as I believe her medical advice was accurate. However, all of the other factors made the experience so uncomfortable that I almost wanted to leave in the middle of the visit. I would find a much more professional, friendly, and approachable naturopathic care provider.

I am very satisfied with the healthcare I have been receiving from Dr. Moan. Generally, my appointments run as long as it requires for her to thoroughly learn about my health situation and for me to ask all my questions. I never feel rushed. She often follows up after my appointments via email to summarize the treatment or to suggest additional remedies. When I was down with the flu, she took the time to email me some suggestions that could help me even though I did not have any appointment with her at that time. She even offered to make a home visit and bring a few things to help with the flu.
I highly recommend Dr. Moan to other!

I went in to see Dr. Gellar Moan to get help with my thyroid. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Disease. I had read positive reviews about her expertise and success in helping patients with thyroid problems. She is a caring doctor who really takes the time to learn about your health holistically. She is very knowledgeable. Several times after going in to see her she has e-​mailed me with additional suggestions and ideas that could help my improve my health. You definitely don’t feel you are just a number in her office like you do when going to a busy office that allots 20 minutes a patient and only wants to hear about one health issue. I would definitely recommend her. She has provided the best medical care I have ever had.

I’ve been the happy recipient of Dr. Moan’s knowledge, wisdom and caring for years. Prior to becoming a naturopath physician, she developed expertise in many healing modalities, including polarity therapy, herbal and homeopathic remedies, nutrition and more. She’s helped me during hormonal changes, joint inflammation, skin abnormalities, cold symptoms and much more. Since opening up her naturopathic office, she’s continued helping me when maladies should arise. I’ve been an RN for 22 years and, frankly, her diagnostic skills remind me of some the best internal medicine MDs I’ve met. Barring some emergency, I will always choose Dr. Moan before mainstream medicine. I suspect the negative review to be a work of fiction. I highly recommend Dr. Moan if you want to heal and feel better.

Dr. Geller Moan has been treating me successfully for various digestive problems for several years. I am very satisfied with her care and her responsiveness to my illnesses and conditions. She has been accurate in her diagnosis and treatment and has always adjusted my treatment to fit my needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Geller Moan to anyone looking for a holistic approach to their healthcare.

I’ve been to many naturopaths searching for someone who could really help me. Dr. Diane is the first naturopath who finally figured out what was wrong with me: maladaptive stress syndrome.
She will research the heck out of a person’s condition trying to find the right diagnosis/​treatment because she cares. Deeply. Her compassion is obvious and I’ve never felt like «just another patient.» She always listens to what I have to say and doesn’t presume things. Nor does she think any one test will have all the answers or that there is only one solution to a health problem. She has told me many times whenever I’m feeling down about my health that there are many ways to approach a problem. She understands health is not «one size fits all.»
I definitely recommend Dahlia Natural Health Clinic. I have been very happy with the care I’ve received there.
