I was very impressed with the coding class. My 3rd grader quickly became competent and confident, even though she was brand new to coding in a class with some experienced coders. The teachers were patient and knew their stuff, and had a lot of experience troubleshooting. Very pleased.

We love Creative Coding 4 Kids. My daughters go to Bryant and Eckstein. Neither one would say they enjoy math. Science is interesting to them, but not at the top of their list. They loved Creative Coding 4 Kids. I’ve watched as different instructors at CC4K engage and interact with the girls, learn their interests, and adapt the lessons and materials to their needs. My daughter is now enrolled in the after school program. Creative Coding for kids understands the need for individual attention in the education environment. Too many activities are diluted by high student to instructor ratios. Learning to code, especially for student who are just starting to build an interest in STEM subjects, requires individual attention. Creative Coding 4 Kids has a successful model worth supporting.

Creative Coding for Kids is a summer camp and after school program that teaches kids how to code. My 10 year old daughter attended the camp last summer and both my kids have participated in the after school program and are back for another week of summer camp this year. I cannot say enough good things about this program. The kids are encouraged to be creative and logical thinkers while developing their own computer games! They use a program called Scratch which was developed at MIT specifically to teach kids around ages 8 – 12 how to code. The camp provides all the equipment. The kids are encouraged to help one another with ideas and questions and they all take turns sharing what they are working on at the end of each day. The owner, Eric is wonderful with kids and his enthusiasm for getting kids excited about coding is very apparent. He has a great staff of teachers working with him who all share his passion for teaching kids how to code. Both my kids have learned critical thinking skills and have been better able to work through frustrating moments as a result of taking this camp. My 8 year old son is so proud of what he can create and loves fixing his«bugs» as he is testing his code. My daughter gets equally excited when she is able to bring to life an idea and then create a story around it. I highly recommend this camp for anyone looking for a fun way to introduce your kids to coding.
