Great Coffee with a personal touch. It’s my favorite place to grab a quick cup or just sit with friends catching up over coffee.

Don’t go to the Starbucks across the street! Come here instead! The coffee and food are excellent(plenty of organic items… no pesticide in this coffee!), the place is well-lit & clean and is in a convenient location, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, and there is even an assortment of toys provided for the little ones. Also, I should mention that the internet bandwidth here is noticeably higher than in other hotspots. My first time here I did a video call with my wife, and we were both impressed with the crispness of the video feed(this is the only time this has ever happened).

I like this place but it is a little pricey. That said i really enjoy the coffee and deelish pastry. I also like tge uncrowded pleasant space. The seating either in club chairs or at tables is great. This is an area seriously devoid of places like this. Please patronize them so they stay.

I came here because it’s right across the street from my school. The funny thing is that Starbucks is right across from compadre. If you go before school gets out(school ends at 2:20) it will be almost empty! The girl worker is very outgoing and talkative while the guy worker is very shy and introverted(like me!). They have delicious pastries such at chocolate croissants and yummy Italian sodas that are cheaper than Starbucks secret menu Italian soda. I prefer more of a loud environment, but if you like quiet and dim lighting, compadre is the place for you.

For being such a coffee centered city, we don’t have a lot of coffee shops I want to just hang out at and either talk to people or bring my laptop and do some work. This one is great for that. It’s location is awesome, right off of the Link and has big friendly windows that make it really inviting. The staff is really friendly and helpful and offered to grill the PB&J I ordered. Not sure if that’s just something they do or if he saw me and realized how much I love grilled PB&J but it made me happy. The coffee is good and he offered me a real cup rather than a paper one, something that always makes me happy. They have wifi and outlets so it’s easy to bring a laptop there. They have other sandwiches, though I have not tired them yet. Lots of pastries and even offer smoothies, sundaes, and milkshakes! I’m glad its here in the neighborhood and I plan to start spending a lot of time here!

If you like a coffee shop that is crowded, feels like a cave, with furniture jammed close together and no natural light, then Compadre is NOT the coffee shop for you! …It IS the place for me, though. A very relaxed and bright neighborhood spot that always has an open table or two. Especially great on sunny days when the wall(door?) is open to the Light Rail station — it’s like the best of both worlds, drinking coffee outside — while inside!

Delicious coffee, friendly people, nice space with giant windows and lots of natural light, good pastry selection(essential baking co)… Did I mention the coffee is super good? A welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Sunny coffeeshop, friendly people. A great addition to the neighborhood! Had a soy latte, which was just perfect. Would love to see a couple more food options(besides baked goods). Will definitely be back!
