Comcast Service Center

After my non-​contract promotion ended, my bill shot up from 40 to 90 dollars. I called in, and although they could not return me to my original price, they assured me that the new promotion would be 65 for my cable and Internet (which now was half the channels and half the Internet speed). I paid over the phone for that first month. When I went to pay my bill the next month, the price was still 89.99. I called and they said I couldn’t change it since I was in a CONTRACT that I was never informed of or agreed to. And if I want to cancel I have to pay out the rest of the 12 month contract? I will never use them again.

Ani was especially amazing, his patiences was so nice he listened to what I was looking for and explained clearly all my options, then he made sure everything was going to get set up correctly and gave us his card incase there was any issues with my new Xfinity box! ¹⁰⁄₁₀ recommend

Though Comcast’s billing – both format and content – is NOT Comcastic, the crew at this service center is outstanding, both for their patience and their knowledge, as well as their ability to calm absolutely livid, hot-​roofing nail eating customers. I have had to go to this service center the past 8 months – billing errors which caused one CPA to call Comcast: fraudulent/​criminal. But… these young people are good employees – apologizing for errors and setting things straight – at least at that moment. The next month’s bill never reflects what we had agreed upon. So much for Comcast!
Kudos to Ani, this past month’s visit’s interpreter of all things Comcast. He cleared up the billing, quickly, efficiently, and to my satisfaction. Thank you Ani.

Great customer service: friendly, pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, quick and efficient from Paul Yoon. He quickly replaced my blown set-​top box, then a couple of weeks later, when I moved, he made it easy for me to turn in old equipment and pick up new, got me a better deal on my account, and then arranged a next-​day service call for me when the self-​setup couldn’t be completed. Great experience with Paul and the Haller Lake store.

I have been without TV and Telephone service since I switched to This company from Verizon three days ago. This has got to be the worst, most inefficient company EVER!!!
They told me on Saturday that they would be here, to get us up and running, on Saturday (June 4) between 8:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. An 11 hour window and they NEVER showed up. Now it is Sunday and I am waiting for the truck again. I MUST consider going back to Verizon.

Much better going in person than past phone calls have been. We worked with Korrie today. Our cable box clock had one of the lines out and she quickly replaced that for us. We also are expecting our first baby soon, and were looking for ways to save money from our cable bill. Korrie was patient, cheerful, and very helpful while expertly explaining options and keeping in mind the channels we wanted to keep for our favorite shows. THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Comcast is terrible, this horrible company is why monopoly’s are the absolute worst thing to happen to capitalism. I am not necessarily referring to this service center, just Comcast and all those who rail against net neutrality in general.

We were expecting a long wait and a tough time here but we were so happily surprised with the quickness and great customer service! Derek was extremely helpful and nice. He took care of our issue and even saved us some money all in under 10 minutes. Wow! This turned around our day — thank you guys!

3 months ago I called Comcast to cancel, was convinced to stay by offering me x1 for $ 180/​month when I was currently paying $ 225 for lesser services. The following day I then lost all my favorite channels, HBO, cmt, stars when I confirmed they were included. So I had to call back and then ADD THEM TO MY PLAN for $ 15/​month — Lie 1. Then the following month my bills comes and is $ 245 — Lie 2. I called in and was told a promo code was not added to my plan and that’s why the bill was higher than quoted — potential lie 3. They then told me they will backdate the code and give it a few days to reflect on my account — lie 4. THEN this month rolls around and no back date reflections and this months bill is $ 260! Now after 35 mins on the phone with a rep I still have no resolution! I will be returning my equipment tomorrow! I refuse to give this company another penny. And sorry for the rant, just can’t believe companies get away with this kind of service!

Really all I wanted to do is set up an account for my parents who just moved into Ida culver house up the street. 6 hours later, after getting copies of their lease agreement on official Ida culver stationary they still wouldn’t do it because the address is not printed on their corporate lease. Seriously Comcast? Really ridiculous. So I am sitting in their parking lot setting up service with century link. Astonished by the stupidity. What a waste of time.

I wish i could give 0 stars. I have closed my account my Xfinity upon moving and immediately returned all my equipment. Despite having a $ 0 balance and verifying that my equipment has been received, I continue to get a voicemail every day from comcast requesting my equipment back. I feel like there should be a harassment charge here. Unacceptable.

Had comcast for 3 years. I cancelled at the end of october. The following month got a charge on my card for $ 268 when i always paid $ 99. Went to my local store to see what the charge was they told me they could not tell me anything bc i did not have an account. Went to my bank to get the charge over turned. My bank sent them a letter and i got no reply but a refund in my account, great! Nope two weeks later they recharged me the 268 so now i get to spend another day off fighting them and if and when i get my money back i will have to change my card number to ensure they cant take money at will.

Worst internet provider ever! They even can’t bill you properly. Don’t waste your time on them.

Webpages dont load even though I supposedly have 40 mb/​s download speeds. Service randomly drops after midnight. They wont do anything to fix it. Only provider in the area so this review doesnt matter.

Showed up at 530pm on a rainy Thursday night. I needed to pick up a new modem as my own personal modem died and the tech was able to get me into triple play for $ 10 more then the double play I was paying with double channels including modem rental. I don’t need the home phone so I won’t hook that up but it’s there if I want .
I was helped within 5 minutes as they were not busy. The customer service gentleman was super friendly and tried to talk me into a home security system but I don’t need and that is a totally separate contract in which I like just one. He verified the foreign tech guy gave me the right info and prices and gave me a new X1 voice remote for home (which is cool and much more smooth then the standard)
Home I called the number to activate my modem. It took 30 minutes due to the slow start up and and a call to tech support in which it magically started working when she verified my account and MAC address and my speeds are awesome and I am back to being happy.
We will see when I get my first new bill on the new plan if everything is fine billing wise but I have had Comcast for 10 years. They always make it right and I am happy with my Dvr X1 service and speeds in Greenlake area. People always complain about their pricing after the promo period but if you shop around and call them before leaving they will keep you on your promo pricing and there really shouldn’t be promo pricing to begin with but that is how it is. Also the tiered contract is much less each month so if you do get a better deal it’s cheaper to pay the contact and leave ! People think contracts are super expensive but it goes down each month and not the bad … Happy and not going to Direct Tv or Dish anytime soon :)

I give these clowns 1 star only because I cant give 0. I hate these guys, they are the only provider in my area and they act like it. Good luck if your cable goes out or you have any other issue with them. They could care less to help.

You know when your neighbor calls comcast to fix something. Instead of them fixing your neighbors problem, Comcast Disconnects your serves… Neither Do I. How freaking incapable do you have to be! For a day and a half I have been on the phone trying to get them back to my house, not my neighbors, to fix their screw up. For a Day and Half they say, they have called, and even come by… I dont have any voice mails, or missed call. I didnt have a note on my door saying they came by my home, nor was I made aware of an appointment time. Comcast: When you need a monkey to hump a football, they’re your first choice. They keep telling me it will be days before they get someone out here to fix they screwed up… God it must be good to have a business with no oversight, or customer consequence.

They’re by far the worst service provider. I have ordered a 60 dollars TV and Internet service (44.99 dollar TV + 10 dollar Internet) and found after move to my new house, the bill soar up to188 dollars/​month, they didn’t even bother to discuss with me. and they add a 70 dollars package without telling me. when I called them, they told me all my neighbors are paying that much. Beware of them. Think twice before ordering their service.

Don’t know why this wasn’t posted back in the middle of June but I’m OK-​ing it for being posted, as sometimes I just can’t believe I’m being charged for this…
As usual, Comcast is insane. A few weeks ago they sent over someone to try and fix a problem I was having with the second tv. Sound kept dropping out. They couldn’t fix it. So they said they would offer me three months of Showtime for free. That didn’t happen because I don’t have the correct box for those channels. How come they didn’t know that already?
On top of not fixing the sound problem… now there is a second sound problem. When the sound returns periodically, it’s not sync’d up with the picture. So peoples lips move but their voice is about 15 seconds later.
I called them tonight and they said that they would take away the Showtime because I don’t have the right box and give me $ 20 for my troubles. That doesn’t quite cover it.

All I needed to do was get another remote… took less than 5 mins in and out. Service rep was very friendly, polite and helpful… no complications!

Comcastic? Hardly! The owners of «Comcast» need to be put in a solid body cast after the mob of angry customers get done with them in getting the RIGHT service they deserve for the money most work so very hard for in the service that’s WAY less than satisfactory or worth the x amount this company makes up randomly month to month.
My partner & their sister is doing business with them in cable & internet service & the sister got her bill which went from being about 100 dollars a month for both, to suddenly 180 dollars! She of course called & threatened to cancel her service by then the «representative» decided to come correct & say they’d take off 100 dollars to keep her as a customer! Insane!
This company is NOTHING short of criminal in the way they attempt to monopolize the cable/​internet business around Seattle & such with complete & udder scandalized «business» tactics. Plus it’s a coin toss if your equipment will even work once purchased from these duds.
This is my complaint on behalf of my partner & sister, if I had my own testimony it would be a book of how they did me back in 2007 & I vowed to NEVER deal with them again just because of the above issues right along with the countless other reviews of how so many others had been screwed over by this shiesty corporation. But on behalf of both of the recent victims, I felt compelled to intervene.
If you have an actual choice, DON’T CHOOSE THESE THIEVING LIARS!
PS: Don’t fall for the attempted — «X-​Finity» name change, in these clowns attempting to hide their bad rap sheet.

This is the one time in my life when I wish Unilocal allowed zero stars. Unfortunately, I have to give them one because that’s the minimum Unilocal allows. For the past few weeks our internet has randomly turned completely off, and then back on again. I spent an hour chatting with Xfinity-​Comcast customer service today, and they claimed to have fixed the problem. An hour later, the internet started cutting out again. I am currently waiting again (30 minutes so far…) to chat with customer service again. The ‘Contact Us’ link on their Facebook page took us to their «Upgrade Now» page on their website, as if they’re deflecting all customers to just buy more crappy product.
This is just the last straw after several years of randomly unreliable, slow service and inexplicable price increases. Xfinity-​Comcast clearly doesn’t care at all about its customers or the service it provides.

Comcast, I pay 83 dollars per month and it’s the worst service ever! Do you have any advice on which company switch to?

Fast and efficient if you get there when they open. I heard horror stories of mid-​day lines/​delays, so I got there early and was in/​out within 5 mins.

I had an unexpectedly helpful experience here. After talking to a rep on the phone to upgrade my service package, I was sent here to grab a cable box to complete my activation. The store rep was much more helpful and knowledgeable than the one I spoke to on the phone. I had no interest in connecting the cable box I had to pick up to a TV – the TV/​internet package was the cheapest way for me to get the internet speed I wanted – and he assuaged my concerns about this being an issue. I very much appreciated his clarity, conciseness and directness in helping me out – not something I can say too often when dealing with Comcast.

I went in the the service center to cancel my phone and cable, and to drop off my equipment. I was keeping internet.
After reading the horrible reviews, I figured I’d get the same treatment as most of the other reviewers when I went in.
I showed up right before noon on a Friday, and was pleasantly surprised. There was hardly anyone in the place.
I got my ticket at the kiosk, and as I was looking at it to see what number I was, I was called up immediately.
I explained to the very pleasant gentleman at the counter what I was doing, and he asked me to put everything on the counter. He checked it over, typed a bunch of stuff into the computer, and printed a receipt. Done deal. I probably spent 5 minutes in the place.
We’ll see next month if the billing is correct, but everything else went well.

I am moving in a few days and came to return the cable box. They would only take it if they also cancelled my internet service the same day.

Well… went to the store, got a new wireless router, and tried to downgraded my service. However, two weeks later, my service wasn’t downgraded. I had to call Comcast on the phone and waited for 30 plus minutes to get it downgraded. Thanks, Comcast!!!

I have been to this location twice now and each time have left more than satisfied with the level of service they provide. Maybe I’m just getting there at the right times, but wait time has been minimal and they seem to keep more than enough staff on hand to handle any sudden rush of customers. During my most recent visit, I had some questions about upgrading my TV service and the young lady who helped me was really cool and gave me some great info and options to choose from. I pretty much knew what i wanted and she found the exact plan that fit those needs. After a few quick details and a signature or two, I was on my way with a newly upgraded service plan and some new hardware to set up when I got home. I don’t believe I could have asked for a better, more efficient experience at a cable store than what I received during this visit.

Throwing these guys a bone because it can’t be that easy to work for Comcast. Also, there’s only like two Comcast locations in Seattle (that I know of), so of course there’s going to be lines and stuff.
I’ve only been here a handful of times over the years, and I really have no complaints. My visits usually consist of me returning TV equipment (modems, routers, etc.) after I end an apartment lease or something. The customer service professionals have all been nice to me, but I suppose I have never come to ask for refunds/​discounts or deal with faulty equipment or whatever else it is people complain about with Comcast.
You pick up a ticket (like at the deli) when you walk in, which categorizes you into queues. I came mid-​day on a weekday and I think I waited like 15 minutes. It wasn’t that bad.
