Perfect place to eat vegetarian food, we always pick up food here for my grandma. They have great egg rolls and side dishes that go with rice.

Consistently great tasting food here! I am not a vegetarian, and so it is rare for me to regularly go to an all veggie restaurant(I think some is vegan here too). But this is just the best. Try the sandwiches and the lunch buffet

Hands down my favorite vegan place in seattle, maybe anywhere. The lunch buffet does not disappoint.

This place is such a dream! Their tofu bahn mi is the best in town(for real) and the price can’t be beat. Service: so nice! Don’t forget to pick up sesame balls! They are easily the best part.

The food was good but the service(cleanliness and preparedness) not so much. Everything looked kind of lackluster at the buffet section and some foods were cold that should be kept warm which is just not good standards for a restaurant to have. Either refrigerate some things or keep them warm for sanitary reasons and taste. I brought my friend over bc i was excited to have her try vegan faux meats and stuff but we both ended up getting the safer looking items. The chefs had an open like kitchen which was cool and all but it did not look very clean as well as their aprons… I am not super picky about cleanliness but i felt sketch about the food here, still enjoyed it though! There is a great variety of foods for vegans and vegetarian that its almost hard to choose. Everything was pretty good minus the banana and sticky rice the inside(banana?) was purple and sort of sour? Also it was kind of cold which made it unappetizing LOL, and I usually eat all my food but i legit didn’t want to finish it. So overall taste(3⁄5) The people were friendly and willing to explain so I didn’t feel so awkward about ordering things, but pricing could be improved for the portions of food you get for the lunch set with 2 side dishes and an egg roll.

From the outside you would think it’s just another crappy fast food place but don’t be fooled! Even for non — vegetarians this is a great place to explore the depths and varieties of meat– free cuisine. All the meals were delicious, the Tofu is well seasoned and the veggies are cooked to point. When we were there on a weekday evening the place was empty and the waiter, even though being very friendly, had some trouble understanding us. Ah well — more authentic! ;) But a second waiter would not have hurt because after a while the place filled up with other people and the poor guy got a little stressed out. The prices are absolutely appropriate and really not expensive for generous portion sizes! I will come back!

The Vietnamese food here is so good! 5 stars for their bun rieu I had. It’s a noodle soup. I’m not too sure if it’s vegan but it didn’t have any eggs like regular bun rieu which was a plus. My sister had the bun hue there which was really good. Banh Xeo is worth giving a try. They also had a buffet which I saw many people eating and I overheard them talking about how good it was. The workers don’t speak the best English but speak enough to get by. They are all really nice people and I definitely recommend.

Want some delicious and fresh cheap eats but don’t have any money? Well here you go! While there is an obvious lack of attention to décor, ChuMinh compensates with kick ass Vietnamese cuisine at very affordable prices. I stopped in for the first time this evening and ventured down the path of the Pad Thai, and I was not disappointed. My belly will grumble again, beckoning me to return to this place of eat, and I will listen.

Go here and get the buffet. Really great vegetarian food with lots of options. The customer service from the owner lady is outstanding. I felt like I walked into my parents’ place when she offered to warm up my plate for me. Cleanliness was a bit questionable, but for that price, I’m willing to deal with it.

This place is amazing! I wouldn’t even notice this was tofu if I couldn’t read and was just served these dishes. Simply the best and super nice staff here. Great prices too, I like to load up for some awesome combos/buffet. And they do fresh fruit bubble tea!

I have never seen so many different tofu dishes in one place before. In addition to all of the tofu, there are eggplant dishes, curries, various fake meats, and veggies. It’s a great deal if you are hungry. The brown rice was tasty. We got the special buffet, which includes a few items not included in the«regular» buffet, but I’d just get the regular buffet next time. We were told that a couple of their dishes aren’t vegan(the Bahn Mi sounds like it comes with egg mayo by default, but they also have vegan mayo if you ask for it, and maybe a drink and a dessert contained milk), but that the entire buffet table is. They also have a bunch of things in a to-go refrigerator and on a little table near the door.

I didn’t expect myself to like this place like I did. The shopping complex is a bit seedy and the area where the food sat looked a bit rough and messy to me. Everything here is vegetarian so even though the sign says Chicken banh mi… it’s really just tofu skin. The owner is extremely nice and is extremely attentive to her customers. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich and it was packed full of goodies. I’d have to say they really make your sandwich worth while. Prices are good and there is parking in front. Come support this little shop, I think they deserve a 5 star rating for sure.

It takes the second loop around the buffet table to fully realize the beauty in each dish. The deep, varied colors of the vegetables-greens, yellows, purples, and reds, to the(soy-)milky red hue in the curry. Here is a place to scoop up a appreciation for soy and for the cooking of a mother you never had. The flavors of the variety of vegan dishes is understated in first appearance-but shines when you savor the first bite. Like the pepper tofu, or ginger eggplant-great dishes that go so well together. More so, the crispy fried tofu is excellent full of buttery insides wrapped with a thin shell of crisp. Great spot for lunch. parking is convenient if you drive. Around $ 10 for a single lunch-more than nearby stops.

DAMN. This place was good! This was my first stop when arriving to Seattle. Before I checked in to room even. Had that craving. Pretty easy place to find. They have there own parking area so street parking is not necessary. I walked in, & I didn’t realize at first but they have a buffet section going on. Everything on the menu was vegetarian or vegan. Didn’t know that initially either. I was going to try that spicy tofu banh mi! After seeing the selection I had to think about for a minute. Should I grub on the buffet??? I said no. Gonna stick to the spicy banh mi! So I’m still checking out the menu, tons of good looking dishes. Damn why can’t I eat it all & not get full why? Whatever, so i ordered tofu sandwich & some tofu springs rolls. That sandwich was good! Probably one of the best tofu banh mi I’ve had period. Look out poblano lol. Seriously tho food was super legit. Tofu was soaked in some red chili sauce & the veggies where fresh. Together you have perfection! Spring rolls where good too. They had a crunchy center roll which gave rolls a good texture. Staff was nice & facility was a good size. If I visit Seattle again, this place will see me again thats for sure.

Any time that I find myself even remotely close to Seattle, I have to stop here. One of the only things that I miss as a vegan person is café sua da(iced coffee with condensed milk). I have no idea how they make their non-dairy version so deliciously creamy, but damn, ChuMinh’s coffee hits the spot. Their banh xeo pancake, banh mi, and spring rolls are always divine, too! The owners are also the nicest people and will go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable meal. Once, I was driving south from Vancouver later in the day and desperately craved an iced coffee. I was going to just miss them before they closed for the evening, but I called ChuMinh and they actually stayed open for 20 extra minutes just so that I could get my coffee fix, AND they made me a banh mi for the road. All in all – do yourself a favor, support a small business, and go get something delicious from these amazingly friendly folks!

I bought a take away tub full of stuffed bittermelon(ho qua) soup yesterday. I think it’s nearly gone, it was that good. This place is nothing fancy, but the items are consistent and the service is friendly, as always. I like their pineapple stirfries, their pickled items, and of course, the many many ways that one can prepare and consume tofu is all here.

Super friendly owners here! Stopped by to grab some food for a group meeting last night, and snagged the last two boxes of banh cuon($ 7 each) — not sure how the price compares to other Vietnamese delis but they were quite tasty and generous on the portions. I also grabbed some hot food to go with brown rice. I tried the seaweed wrapped tofu pieces and while they were a bit salty, they were unique and good with the rice. Everything here is vegetarian which is awesome because two of our friends were veg so I kept them in mind. I think there are a few seats in the back and they also have banh mi and phở. It’s a convenient location with parking!

I drive by ChuMinh deli quite often and finally dined here for lunch today. There are two parts to this restaurant; the deli side which has a wide variety of tofu, egg rolls, and hot food items. Then there’s the restaurant side which offers a full menu on the most popular vegetarian Vietnamese dishes. I had the bun bo hue and vegetarian phở. The BBH was savory with lemongrass, shitake mushrooms, broccoli, tofu, and bean curd. The phở had amazing flavor with cinnamon, coriander, star anise, naturally sweetened by the vegetables; carrots, tofu, mushrooms, and cabbage. Both were delicious. Service was great. The owner Nga is just lovely! And I heard her graciously speaking Spanish to her waitstaff! Very talented lady who can cook and speak 3 languages! I’ll be back for sure!

Not too far from here, I was at a restaurant with a friend that laughed about how over-the-top friendly the service we received was; [he] secretly wondering if he was on Candid Camera because the service was SO.EXUBERANT. Candid Camera. You know, the original reality TV show. The gal at ChuMinh tickles me. Like that other restaurant, she is sweet and funny and gives you so many free little bites, I generally buy more than I intended to – just so I can put money back into her pocket! It’s like friendly guilting. Fr-uilting. Or something like that. If you couldn’t tell, ChuMinh is vegetarian chow. Lemongrass fried tofu — I eat that right out of the bag like candy. They make a real fantastic chili oil here so feel free to ask if you can purchase some. I bet you if you asked for anything at all, she would give it to you. But you wouldn’t do that, would you? I like the veggie fish, but it’s so salty sometimes. What’s REALLY good is their vegetarian duck. What’s that? Paper-thin tofu sheets wrapped around shitake mushrooms and other vegetables. The exterior is a perfect color match to roasted duck mmmm The veggie empanada-shaped fried pastry is a little bland for me. And I’m going to do this sometime: they have an AYCE buffet that you can eat in their connected dining room! Who doesn’t want to try ‘Vegan Lobster’? This I know: They can do amazing things with vegetable products. I had their vegetarian ‘pork’ and not only did it look like it, it was way meatier in consistency than I was expecting. It’s another favorite. Free Sample Lady: You know what you’re doing.
