Have been stopping in when in Greenwood for ages. My favorite chocolates on the planet. Coffee is equally good, and the folks are amazing behind the counter. Will be back again and again and again :).

If you’re looking for a spot to post up and get some work done, this is it. There are three different rooms, all of which have tables to sit down and work at. There are plenty of outlets and extension cords so you’ll never be short on power. There are big tables for groups, medium tables for couples, small tables if you’re solo… I’m telling you this is the place to go to work. I was in the far back room with about 8 other people. Only two people didn’t have laptops in front of them but were quiet and respectful of everyone else. I got a drip coffee for less than $ 2. Very reasonably priced. I’ll definitely be back.

Oh my goodness, I have had to force myself to stay away from Chocolati. They have such good hot chocolate! I always order the peppermint patty dark hot chocolate, and it never disappoints. I usually just order the 8 or 12 oz sizes because it is so rich, I do not need any bigger. I haven’t tried the chocolate truffles yet, but they all look so pretty. Great place to read or study, though the ambiance is pretty dark. A lot more seating in the back, the café is much bigger than it looks from the outside.

I used to come to this place in the past, it was really good. But now I don’t think I will come again the employee they wasn’t friendly and the hot chocolate I got was really bad and very light.

I’ve been to this location once and also received a box of chocolates from here as a gift. The service here is pretty good — nothing extraordinary; there only one register/cashier and one barista. Interior is cozy, but everything looks pretty worn in. I got the dark house hot chocolate and a chocolate covered pretzel stick. The hot chocolate was a bit tooooo chocolatey and thick for my taste, but it might be good for a real chocolate lover! The pretzel was really good! Love the combination of sweet/salty. Onto the chocolates/truffles. I received a mixed box of 12 as a gift and wowwww they were all awesome. And SO beautiful! I don’t know what any of them were since I didn’t choose but I didn’t dislike any of the flavors/fillings! The chocolate is rich and high quality. These really make a great gift! :) Will def come back to pick up a box next time I’m in need of a nice present!

Never have I ever been victim to such chocolate lust as I was yesterday. Already fed and staying near the store for work that day, I decided to go in for a delectable treat. To be honest, and I know this isn’t the right review to admit this in, but I do not like chocolate all that much. It can be good, and I do like chocolate things, but I won’t choose it over carrot cake or even fruit sometimes. But these truffles, and the variety of hot chocolate flavor, blew me away. I ordered a 12 pack of truffles because I wanted to support the business after the natural gas explosion in the area busted out all of their windows. They had put plywood up for the meantime and were still serving customers as we tried to clean the area of debris. They even offered a free truffle to those of us working on scene so I thought that was a kind gesture. :) I also ended up ordering a sea salt caramel hot chocolate, no whip cream. The hot chocolate was so rich and perfectly salty, just right to balance the sweetness of the chocolate. I have yet to try all of the truffles but each one I have tried has been perfect. Not too much of one thing or the other. Each on is so different and flavorful. :) I hope my boyfriend will take the rest off of my hands. OH, OHGEEZE. I almost forgot! We also got some sort of marshmallow fluff Blondie brownie that was the best thing I have ever had in forever. And ever. This friggin thing basically got my boyfriend and I in the mood because we were both moaning after every bite. So buy this brownie, you won’t need dinner when you have that sweet, sweet dessert.

The mochas here are the best. They melt chocolate in a crock pot and use it for mochas and hot chocolate. The staff is always friendly. If you’re in a hurry this isn’t the place to go… sometimes customers in front of you will take forever to decide on what chocolates to try. I found the occasion waits to be worth it.

One of the best hot chocolates I’ve had! They use non-dairy liquid chocolate for the base and they have soy milk as an option so that was great for someone sensitive to lactose like me. It was very rich and creamy. They have different flavors too, such as the Aztec which was cinnamon and almond which I had. Very nice environment where people were working on laptops or meeting friends. The staff were nice and accommodating.

I think Chocolati probably could get an extra half star if I could do it here. Drinks are awesome… really super chocolatey for the non coffees. Maybe a bit too much syrup in the chocolates but great range in choices. Next time I will be more specific about ratio. I will be going back and bringing friends. Love the funky space and décor. The baristas need more social skills though. I would have liked to been engaged more, had some things recommended to me, and more smiles and conversation. The young staff tends to huddle and I got the feeling they just wanted us to sit down so they could resume their huddle.

My mocha was a little sweeter than I would have liked, but hey, chocolate is the name of the game, and I can appreciate that they even ladled it into my cup. The baristas were friendly, and this place has plenty of(pleasing) space to sit and sip. I might be tempted to give another star after trying some other drinks.

My favorite place to get hot cocoa and pastries. First off, their house hot chocolate is incredibly good. I can’t gush about it any further. It’s just incredible. Their chocolate-dipped pretzel was tasty enough to have my friend from Olympia always asking me to bring some down to him. Lastly, the people there are super nice. Some of them know me by name or face, but in any case, they are sweet as all get out. Definitely the first place I take my out of town friends to get coffee and sweets.

The servers are the best! So friendly and helpful. One time my drink took a little extra long to make because they were backed up and I was given a truffle for the wait. Even if they were rude it would still be worth it for their drinks! The hot chocolates, truffles, chocolate cooler, and pastries are amazing!!! Their box of truffles make a perfect gift!!! It’s also a cozy spot to meet someone for a chat or to work/study. Love this place!!!

This is a spot my partner and I love to take a little break & date to for an evening cozy. I really really like their Dark Chocolate Cayenne hot cocoa, but I have to admit their regular Peppermint Pattie cocoa is tops! We have also tried their quiche and croissants, and both are pretty tasty and not dried out, which is one thing I worry about for places open late. Not a problem here! The lighting, dark walls, and quirky architecture all make it feel like a very vibrant, comfortable spot – not all shiny, stiff and sterile like most cafes are going nowadays. Lovely café, can’t wait to visit in the winter.

The hot chocolate, coffee, and truffles(of the chocolate variety) are all top notch. If you get the hot chocolate it is a dessert by itself. You dont need a truffle. The location feels like an old re-purposed house. The walls could use a new coat of paint and they could do with another comfy chair or couch. That being said it is a fun place to hang out and chat or play a game after getting dinner somewhere else.

Stopped by to get some Chocolate and was very happy I did. The pricing was very reasonable for hand made chocolates. They even have a frequent buyer card. I will be back to get more and so should you!

Chocolate + coffee = shit Just kidding. I hate coffee and didn’t order any. On the other hand, their chocolate is pretty damn good. I might actually like this place more than the Chocolate Market in Post Alley. I think that their truffles are bigger and less expensive. Unfortunately, they are in a bad location. I drove all the way over here because Un Bien in Ballard was too busy and I wanted to finally try Diggity Dog. My hot dogs at Diggity were pretty good, but I wanted some dessert. Lo and behold a cool, little chocolate café was next door. It’s kismet!

Super cute hang out, tons of table room for large or small groups, delicious sweets and solid coffee and tea. Since this is a family-friendly space I did find that it was a little sticky and overdue for a deep cleaning. When I set my laptop down on a table to do some work there were still-wet drink stains and food crumbs on the table. Definitely not bad, but I’d have preferred somewhere cleaner to sit for a bit. It’s such a large coffee shop with various nooks and crannies that with a small staff of 1 – 2 people there just might not be enough time to clean surfaces between every visiting guest. And overall it was clean, it just wasn’t spotless. So don’t knock it before you try it! I’d still come back. Free WIFI(as always) was great and the service was super friendly.

I always come here to meet with friends for coffee. I really like the atmosphere, the staff are friendly and they make fantastic drinks. I’m not a huge chocolate lover so I don’t know how the treats are but the boyfriend LOVES them. They do have a decent amount of seating, although if I go there with the purpose of meeting up with someone I always feel like I have to whisper as to not annoy other customers. On the flipside, if you are looking for a quiet(save for the espresso grinder) place to study/work/read then I highly recommend Chocolati!

I forgot to mention that Chocolati makes awesome favors for weddings! I was in a wedding and they use elements of Chocolati in their wedding! For the bridesmaids gifts, the bride had customized chocolate dipped fortune cookies that had quirky and funny sayings in them. Not only were they super cute but they were yummy! For the wedding itself, they had an entire bar set up of different chocolate truffles and candy from Chocolati! Seriously the best candy bar I’ve seen to date. They also made these chocolate trees/bushes that the wedding party could take home! I’ll post a picture of these elements! They also had their wedding rehearsal at Chocolati. We were able to eat a lot of candy and try their delicious drinks before the wedding. Even if you’re not getting married, you should pop by one of their stores for some tasty drinks and chocolates. Now that I’m planning my own wedding, I immediately thought of Chocolati for my own wedding favors and dessert bar. They ship outside of Seattle, too! I highly recommend them! Love the owners — they are the best!

Chocolati Café has all the chocolatey goodies! From drinks to desserts it’s a great place if you have a chocolate sweet tooth. I usually come here with my nephew to study and the place is pretty spacious. The WiFi is a bit spotty though and its kind of tough to find parking. Other than that I’d recommend this place if you need a place to study!

By far the best café for chocolate beverages of all kinds, truffles, meeting friends and getting work done. Not to mention their bagels! Staff is super friendly, helpful and patient with long inventive orders. This is my Greenwood place to be. Check out their new patio on sunny days this Spring and Summer. See you there!

Well hello there Aztec hot chocolate, with all of your spice and everything nice. Yum, yum, yum. As someone who doesn’t drink coffee, this place is my dream. Wish there were one in Capitol Hill. The hot chocolate was divine. The truffle was equally sinful. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s basically chocolate perfection in a cup. What more could a girl want?

Chocolati owner slams door in customer’s face after loudly slandering ex employee! So, I was a regular here for a while, and I really like the employees and the quality so it pains me to write this… but I don’t see how any one could support this business in good conscience. I’ve ran into the owner, Christian Wong, only a couple of times. One time, he was absolutely berating an employee of his and saying very anti-community things(all of this in the public area of the café where anyone could hear) which kind of put into my mind that he’s clearly willing to stamp all over this community, but still wants to suck every dime he can(no wonder those hot chocolates are so expensive!) out of these people he clearly dislikes. The second time, this morning, was the last straw. I just can’t support this place any longer. Here’s what I saw: About halfway through my coffee, the owner shows up. He begins RANTING about some girl he fired the day before. Proudly. A customer is standing there in a neon work vest, waiting for a drink of some kind. Apparently this was the victim’s boyfriend. I know because the employee working(the really nice one with the facial tattoos) quietly pointed out that this was the ex employee’s boyfriend at which point the owner MUCHMORELOUDLY and WAY more inflammatorily continues saying absolutely awful, criminalizing stuff about this employee he’d fired(he keeps emphasizing the word FIRED) going on about how she was probably a thief, saying several disparaging things about her appearance, and even going so far as to threaten to not send out her last check to «see how she likes being inconvenienced».(Note: As I do not know the employee, I don’t know if these things are true, only that the owner was yelling them in public, not at all candidly, and purposely antagonizing the very quiet customer/boyfriend) After this rant, he looks at the customer in the work vest, who just got his drink and picked up some containers that I guess were the ex employee’s, gives him a withering look, and storms out. He’s right ahead of boyfriend guy and SLAMSTHEDOORINHISFACE. Not«oh I didn’t hold it open» but like actually went out of his way to close it so that the paying customer whose girlfriend he’d just spent 10 minutes loudly slandering had to wait and then open the door again. DESPICABLE. After he left, I asked the employees working what that was all about and they said he’d fired the employee for losing a check, and had been really annoyed about having to talk to the bank about reprinting it. WHAT? INTHISECONOMY? OVER A LOSTCHECK? After witnessing all of this, and the way he is willing to slander and defame his employees/ex employees/the community he has built his business on… I just can’t imagine ever supporting this egomaniac. I really hope you’ll do the same. He is truly a shameful, rude, despicable man to treat people that way; hiding behind friendly employees doesn’t excuse his clear disdain for the working or lower classes. For shame, Chocolati. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Excellent place to study or just relax. Don’t be fooled by the storefront that appears to be small. There is lots of seating in the back and their wifi is fast-ish and reliable for the most part. I think the best thing about this place are the staff/baristas. They are super friendly and happy to help with whatever you need.

Hanging out at chocolati café on a monday afternoon is what I am doing at this exact moment. Pup and I needed something to do in greenwood area while having car repairs. Walked over to this conveniently located coffee shop that has a plethora of chocolate truffles to purchase. I walked in with the dog in hand and no complaints. I realized that when i turned around to grab a straw, they have dog treats readily available. I guess that means dogs are welcomed here. Tried out the ice mocha latte and it was the best one I have had in a while. I usually cannot mochas at starbucks because they sweeten their drinks so much that you can’t even taste the coffee flavor. To top things off… free wifi!!! This place is a true gem of seattle local cafes. I’ve already been to the greenlake location and wallingford one as well. No variances in the quality of what the serve. Check it out :)
