No wait this time! My breakfast was hot and fresh! Five stars for letting me bring my doggy in!

This place is open and friendly. It has more parking than I thought it would as there is street parking a plenty. The

I love Cherry St Coffee– first time at this location and the staff was super nice and they hang the bathroom key on the outside of the bathroom door, which just feels more friendly and trusting than other scenarios.

The real deal. Everything bagel with cream cheese, lox, capers and red onions. THISPLACE is serving it up 90’s style.

The absolute best! I’m a regular here(I’m usually in for lunch about once a week) and they know my food order(even though it’s a really obscure one) and start making it immediately when I walk in. The staff is really nice and friendly, plus they’ll make great suggestions if you ask. As far as food quality, everything is fresh and delicious. Their bagels are amazing, and I say this as a New York native! The coffee is also incredible, and the tea, too. Just… all around great taste! No complaints about Cherry Street. It’s a great place for food or drinks, and the staff is fantastic.

Amazing corner location tucked away in the Seattle U area. I went in on a quiet Tuesday morning and the place was clean and the staff were friendly and attentive! My pesto bagel breakfast sandwich was bomb and went perfectly with my smooth, creamy, delicious soy latte(top notch latte art!). I especially loved the layout of the café– lots of great seating and quiet corners, a MUST for a laptop camper like me. I will definitely a returning costumer.

I hate to do this because the staff is fantastic and I’m hoping this was a one time thing, but I recently had an(ahem) ~incident~ with their quiche and lemme tell you, people. I got a special New Years detox that I was not expecting. I was stuck in one particular area of my house for 24 hours. Needless to say, the quiche and I are not friends anymore so I’m taking a star away.

I’ve passed Cherry Street Coffee House a number of times over the years, and today I finally stopped in to check it out! Hunger and chai latté desires coupled with cold weather numbed hands made a stop at this coffee house a must. I ordered a sausage, pepper, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich and a chai latté, and boy… am I glad I did! The sausage in the sandwich wasn’t that simpleton maple breakfast sausage, but instead a mildly spicy andouille sausage(which was a nice surprise!), plus all the eggy, cheesy, sausagy goodness was wrapped in a warm pita. After inhaling the breakfast sandwich, I sat back, sipped my spicy ‘n sweet chai, and enjoyed the holiday music playing throughout the shop. #Satisfied P. S. Thank you to the cashier who brought my sandwich to me. It’s not something you see at most coffee shops, but much appreciated.

It’s a perfect coffee shop near Seattle U if you aren’t feeling the Starbucks lyfe. I’ve gone here when I’ve needed a bite to eat and also needed to get some work done. Delicious food. I recommended their breakfast bagels or homemade quiche.

I love that they had vegan donuts. I got the chocolate one. So good. The gentleman that was working even warned me that it had nuts just in case I had a allergy. How thoughtful of him. my guy got the pumpkin bread and enjoyed it.

I used to love this place. The chai is amazing, and bagels are good. The soup is great. I don’t know who decided this place is cheap, cuz it should definitely have 2 dollar signs. My main complaint tho is that I have come here for lox and bagel many times and found it to be a little better than other places because they didn’t skimp on the lox. Well now they do. Last time I went they literally gave me one slice of lox for both slices of bagel and cut it up in little pieces to spread out on the bagel slices. So you are basically paying $ 9 for bagel and cream cheese. I hope they change this because you can’t charge that much and only give me one slice of salmon. No one will come back for it.

Cherry Street Coffee House is a good spot for lunch! I came here with a coworker for lunch and the food was very good. I had the tuna salad and it was huge and very flavorful. It’s a little spendy for a counter service spot but I would recommend them for a place to hang out and eat lunch. Lots of people study from this coffee shop.

A bit of a letdown. I’ve visited this place frequently and recommended this place to others. However, I’ve had some letdown experiences and also heard of letdown experiences from those I recommended Cherry Street too. It has good food, sometimes. I would stick to the coffee. They ALWAYS run out of whole grain bread before 12 noon, which I don’t understand. Why don’t they order more bread? It’s also expensive and difficult to find a seat. Service is always slow and the staff isn’t the most friendly. Although Cherry St. has better coffee, the Starbucks down the street has a much better vibe than this place. As a previous Unilocaler mentioned, Cherry Street is a bit of a letdown. If I’m spending 5+ on a small cup of coffee, I want to feel good about my purchase.

Great coffee and breakfast any time of the day items. I love the currant scone to go but the egg sandwiches are delish too. I come in after working out down the street and just keep a loaded gift card in my yoga bag. Also — this is where I tasted rip vanwaffels for the first time. Yum!

Stopped by here after my pedi appt on a sunny Saturday afternoon. I actually had never been to a Cherry St café so it took me a moment to decide what I really wanted. I ended up getting a 12oz Chai latte and an egg & cheese breakfast pita, total about $ 8, not to bad for a late lunch. The girl who took my order was very personable and knowledgable about the menu. I then found a spot inside just near the open patio doors so I had lots of sunshine to bask in. Most everyone who was here were definitely college students, but they all had their noses in books and were probably the most quiet people there. My drink came out and then my pita. Both were amazingly good; the latte was smooth, not too sweet and the pita was hot and had just enough cheese with a good amount of pepper sprinkled on. I really liked this café and I will definitely be back when in the area.

I’m always up for trying a new coffeehouse, but Cherry Street was somewhat of a letdown. Although the Starbucks down the street is always jam packed, I’d rather go there and sacrifice time for a decent cup of joe. After the barista awkwardly stared at me while I browsed the menu, I decided to try the chicken salad sandwich and black iced tea. About 10 minutes after ordering, the barista came to inform me that they were out of chicken salad. Instead, I asked for the tuna salad and was told they were also out. At that point, there wasn’t much left on the menu that I wanted to try. I finally settled on the andouille sausage sandwich. The only part I enjoyed about the sandwich was the toasted ciabatta. Other than that, I thought there was too much tomato sauce and the vegetables(red & green peppers, onions) were soggy and overcooked. $ 8.50 is much too expensive for this quality of sandwich. I’m not much of a fan of unsweetened teas, so I didn’t care much for my beverage. Granted I didn’t ask for it to be sweetened, I can’t complain. I’m glad I was able to give Cherry Street a shot, but it’s not somewhere that I would come out of my way for.

Coffee, black, straight up. One of my regular stops when in the area for coffee. A bit of a hike and out of the way from the touristy areas but I like that.

This is a nice coffee shop, and a great Starbucks alternative for SU students especially. I love the open feel of the café, and the urban rustic vibe they have going on. I visited for the first time yesterday for a group project and it was a good place to meet — we had a huge table all to ourselves near the back, and it was quiet. The baristas were friendly folks. There were only two of them, so my chai latte took a little longer than it might have otherwise, but since I was sticking around that didn’t matter. At first I wasn’t sure that I liked my chai. It was very different from what I’m used to at bigger coffee brands. Now I’m pretty sure that’s because it’s legit chai and not just a syrup! It was spicy and comforting and not at all cloying. Turns out, I loved it. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I’ve heard that the coffee is really tasty, too. I’m tempted to try their pumpkin spice latte.

This is my local coffee shop that I go to every weekend. I have to say that I’ve never gotten a bad soy latte here, hot or cold. It’s always delicious no matter who makes it. That’s saying a lot about how things are done. Also the food is great. I get bagels most often, I have to be very clear that I want it well toasted or that can be missed since it’s so busy when I go. I just make sure to repeat myself twice. I got the falafel pita sandwich and it was so good! The pita was extra soft, and the falafel tasted fresh and moist. It’s so often that falafel dries out easily so if it’s not fresh or made correctly it’s disappointing. Also, I’ve never had one with a pickle in it and that was a salty crunchy awesome surprise. It goes so well with the sauce and fresh veggies. Super filling too.
