I’m finding it harder and harder each day to find an establishment that provides lasting quality services and creates a lasting friendship with their client. Not only is Calico very professional with her services, she makes sure each and every time I come I receive the best service hands down! I have been getting my lashes done by Calico for almost a year, and I’m so grateful I found her. Not only does she make my lashes look glam and natural (people are always asking me if they are my real lashes because they look so good) but they last how long she says they will last. The previous place I went, told me they would last 3 – 4 week and I was noticing I needed a fill in 2 weeks. She definitely takes the time out to make sure you are getting what you are paying for. I felt in the past year, I built such a great relationship with her, that she will remember all the critical details/​events in my life and remember stuff I told her last visit. I love love love her! If she has an opening, snag a spot and hope that she will keep you in the books! This is the best kept secret of Seattle!

Calico is great. I’ve seen her twice for waxing services. She did a really fabulous job. Very professional and personable. I would definitely see her for any other spa services I needed.

I’ve been going to Calico for about 3 months now and what a difference it has made. She is attentive, thorough, and makes you feel completely at ease. It is evident with some skin care professionals that they just want to make money, but she truly cares about the health of your skin. Best esthetician I’ve ever been to, you will not be disappointed!

My friend referred me to Calico for eyelash extensions for my wedding. I have had eyelash extensions off and on since 2007 and since I have had some bad experiences I decided to get my first full set from Calico several months prior to the big day just to be sure. The lashes she put on were absolutely gorgeous and I knew they would be perfect for my special day. They have held up so well that I have continued to see her for regular «fills» and plan to maintain them. Calico makes sure to use the highest quality products (lashes and glue for example) and in comparison to the several other places I have been to it is apparent this makes a significant difference in the way they feel and how long they last. Recently I had to get a fill from another lash bar and I was reminded once again why I never maintained my lashes in the past. My eyes were itchy and the lashes were falling out very quickly. This was a lash bar that actually charges more than Calico so I expected the same quality. Unfortunately that was not the case. I felt even more confident after this experience that I had found my lash gal with Calico. My eyes don’t itch with the lashes she applies (probably the glue) and they last longer (because she makes sure to glue the extension closer to the base) and her application is much fuller and natural looking. In removing the spotty lash work I had done at the other lash bar she told me the reason they were falling off is because they were not glued near the base and several lashes were glued to one extension… which is why it didn’t look nearly as full or natural. I have had people approach me at the grocery store and bar commenting on my beautiful lashes. When I explained they were extensions they were surprised. This is how natural the lashes look from Calico.
I was so impressed with my eyelash extension experience that I decided to get other services done from Calico in preparation for my wedding. I made appointments for a wax and facial. I had been going to one of the local chain wax bars in Seattle since I love the fact they provide a shot of whiskey or tequila prior to waxing, but I trusted Calico would be able to provide a comparable experience (I knew I didn’t need the shot… lol). I was right. She was quick and she used two different types of waxes (based on sensitivity, etc.) and I survived without my shot of whiskey. My facial followed the waxing services and she provided a very soothing environment. In addition she gives one heck of a neck and shoulder massage. My make-​up artist for the wedding commented on how beautiful my skin looked. All thanks to Calico.

I’ve been seeing Calico for about two years for waxing and have recently started seeing her for lash extensions and facials. I’ve always been fickle when it comes to finding a regular esthetician, but Calico is second to none. She’s extremely professional, meticulous and cares about her clients by providing the best service and products available.
Her space is also located right across the street from my workplace so I’m able to pop over during a lunch break. Her waxes, what can I say? I’m in an out of there in less than 30 minutes and am smooth as a baby’s bottom when I leave.
Calico recently started providing lash extension services. I’ve had lash extensions for two years and was excited to hear Calico was providing this new service. My first lash fill appointment with her was great. She even bought the same products that my previous lash salon was using because she wanted to make sure the quality was the same. Again… she goes above and beyond to provide great services to her clients. Although my lashes weren’t as full as normal it was because my eyes were moving all over the place. (Pretty sure it was due to stress at work and I needed to relax) I’m looking forward to my next last fill appointment with her in the coming weeks.
Finally, I was able to make time for Calico’s famous customized facials. It had been a while since I received a facial and it was just what the doctor ordered. I had been breaking out and really was in dire need of a facial. Besides an extremely relaxing experience she asked about my daily skin regimen, what types of skin care products I used and provided samples of the products she used and recommended for me. I left the salon extremely relaxed, rejuvenated and am looking forward to my next facial with Calico.

I cannot recommend Calico Crespinel enough! I’ve seen her for over 5 years and always been extremely happy. I have had facials for over 20 years in London, LA, San Francisco and NYC and she is one of my top experiences. Calico and a person I had in London (Mayfair) who was amazing too.
She is in South Lake Union, is very meticulous, gentle, easy to work with and uses the best products. I do other treatments with her as well — waxing etc. Before I saw her I had a couple terrible facials in Seattle. So, was happy to discover her. She really takes the time and has the experience.

I love Calico’s skin care. I have been seeing her for 6 years now, for facials, and she has completely transformed my skin. When I had my first facial my skin was in a state of distress. It was really broken out from tanning and bad skin products. Over a year or so, I saw my skin go from troubled to glowing. She has recommended great products and has informed me about proper skin care and how to keep my skin looking clear and fresh.
Calico truly cares about her clients and will go above and beyond to give incredible service. Her facials are 1.5 hrs and her facial massage with oils is so relaxing, you just feel all of your stress disappear! I highly recommend Calico. I will not get a facial from anyone else, so she has a client for life!

I met Calico in one of my UW journalism classes as she was one of our public speakers. I could tell right away she was very passionate and knowledgeable about skin. I had to book an appointment soon after! I went to see Calico for a facial and she was amazing! The facial includes a hands/​feet massage as well as an in-​depth consultation for face cleansers and lotions. She’s very passionate and I will always go to her for facials in the future!

Calico’s operation is, without a doubt, the best I have ever experienced. Her facials are second to none and she can wax a back better than any esthetician I’ve encountered. And coming from someone as hirsute as myself, that’s saying something! Not to mention the fact that she had a good selection of high quality skin care products at better-​than-​fair prices.
Calico’s personality and professionalism make it a true pleasure to visit. Time spent with her flies by and what used to seem like a chore to me is now something I truly look forward to. I will never go anywhere else as long as she is around!

Calico is awesome! I’ve been seeing her for waxing and facials for 6 or 7 years now and will not go any place else! I have just moved to Kirkland and I still come to Seattle to see her. She is accommodating with my wacky schedule and her new location is great! You’ll be very pleased with her services!

I can guarantee that every time I go to see Calico I know I am going to get the most amazing results. I usually get my eyebrows waxed with her and I ALWAYS get compliments on them on how they look so groomed, but natural. I just had my first waxing experience with Calico and it was the BEST ever! I have lopsided eyebrows, which she managed to match perfectly and I didn’t feel a thing. She was very informative and had recommendations and samples for my problem skin areas (and I haven’t even had a facial yet). I am definitely going to schedule a facial soon. I’m sure I will be glowing in no time thanks to her!

I’ve been seeing Calico for 4 (maybe more?) years for waxing and facials, and I thank my lucky stars that when the big spa she was working for when I found her closed, she decided to go out on her own. Her facials are amazing and she makes waxing a breeze.
Calico is warm, friendly, and super professional. And her new space in SLU is really comfortable. Plus she leaves you with amazing little candies when she sends you on your way — how great is that?

On top of that, she is always recommending or selling me terrific skin products that keep my skin from breaking out or being dry.
