You could not convince me to go here again. The food costs as much as a «fancy» McDonalds hamburger and seems so much more gross. I’m not a fan of McDonalds but I would go there over Burgermaster in a heartbeat.

Had the bacon burger mini-meal, which is a «small» bacon burger, fries, and drink. Cost about $ 7 with tax. The burger was good, and filling. The bacon was crispy and perfect. Very filling for a «mini» meal. The fries were hot, perfectly salted, and that nice not-too-crispy– or-soggy texture. They get bonus points for having cherry coke and pibb xtra on the fountain.

Stick with the burgers and shakes. Burgermaster is all about mediocre food at 4-star prices. The Crab & Swiss Sandwhich is gross. The crab & Swiss cheese is 90% mayonnaise and funky Swiss. The remainder being not the freshest crab you’ve had. Onion rings are the dehydrated minced-onion type. Sourced from the nearby Safeway? Their French Fries may be too — nothing special at all. Chicken strips are bad. Again — could be from a grocery store. Tough chicken and flavorlessly battered. Coleslaw served with it ok — not overloaded with mayo. Fresh. Fish & Chips might be the worst I’ve had in the PNW. Soggy and loaded with grease. Strong fishy aftertaste. This bulk tarter sauce is utterly disgusting. This location does not have the car hop service. The setting is a nice throwback to the old days but reminds me of a hospital cafeteria. Also attracts that cantankerous native Seattle demographic that’s been largely run out of town by Amazonians. Again — stick to the burgers and you’ll be OK. I’d give them three stars but they are WAY overpriced for the quality.

This place is pretty good and the food isn’t too salty.

A neighborhood classic. Good food. They bring your order to your table after you place it at the counter. Dig in.

Ugh! I’m not quite sure how a place like this could be rated too terribly high. The service was«meh». Steve was already in a very grumpy and aggressive mood. When we went in and his night continued to not improve. He said he wanted a Ham and Cheese sandwich and he got a grilled cheese sandwich without the ham. A pickle slice was accompanied with his sandwich… which was very luke warm. Hmmm. My Cheeseburger was slightly better but not by much. Everything was just kind of tasteless. Probably the best part to the meal was the french fries… those were ok. Despite that there are other chains of the same ilk that have better quality food… providing quality is what you are hoping to find by doing fast food.

Pulled into Burgermaster prior to attending a game at UW. The placed was filled with local folks, so we were pretty sure we were going to be satisfied with our choice. Had a burger and turkey sandwich. Great menu variety, servings are huge, and decent prices. If you are trying to get to and from the University, the joint is located off the main drag, so traffic is pretty heavy. Plenty of parking in the lot, plus there is a grocery store next door and University Village located around the corner.

I like this location for the ample seating and huge menu. Lunch prices are a little on the pricey side, but what wins me over with this particular Burgermaster is that they have Cherry Coke on tap.

Great burgers, the bacon master is the way to go. Old school, diner type feel, with everything from ribs to spaghetti. I however haven’t ever strayed from the usual burger, just too good to switch up from.

So, I finally tried this place and boy, I was surprised. First off, I didn’t even know there was more to the menu than the typical burgers so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a roast plate with vegetable and mashed potatoes. After a time I finally settled on ordering the mushroom double melt on sourdough. The bread was nicely toasted, the mushrooms along with the patties and fixing were oh so yummy that I couldn’t believe I hadn’t tried the place before.

I have eaten here since college and it is a great place for a quick meal but tonight I went. The burgers were not Burgermasters. I know a Burgermaster when I have eaten one and they no longer know how to make them. Try the Aurora one if you want to try one. It is a shame because the University Village Burgermaster used to be the best Burgermaster place with nice breakfasts and a bigger variety of menu than the others but when your Burger doesn’t even taste like a Burgermaster anymore it is a fail. Sorry.

This place is a through back… please dont expect great service it ain’t gonna happen… but i eat here every few months when i have meetings in the area. I always have an odd experience and have come to appreciate them. But i could see how some people would not appreciate it. They do make fresh pastries at this location and have several veggie friendly options.

I’ve been here over four times now and each time I’m presented with the same food, same taste, the same sad previously frozen vegetables and chicken yet I don’t know why I keep coming back. The prices for the food is completely reaching for what is essentially cafeteria food. It’s convenient and service is fast but there’s a reason why a majority of the people that eat here are the elderly. They can’t taste anything. The workers are nice though!

Have you ever had one of those weird nostalgic moments and think about your time back in school and eating at the cafeteria. Do you ever find yourself wanting to experience the food again, but don’t want to risk being labeled as a predator and slapped with a restraining order? Well at Burgermaster here is your chance! They have a wide variety just like your high school cafeteria, only it’s better — slightly… They have: burgers, chicken dinners, spaghetti, fish ‘n chips and much more! Each bite will take you back to the excitement you felt when the lunch bell rang minus the school bully stealing your lunch money

Amazing. Burger master has everything you could wish for in a burger joint. Shakes, chicken, pancakes, burgers, salads all the good stuff.

I have been to this location a few times now and I cannot say that I will return again. The service is still OK, but right now my chief issue is the rising price for a meal for a young family of four. I paid over $ 40 for a fast food meal for my two kids under five and my wife and I, where it would have only cost $ 20-$ 25 at McDonalds. This is not fancy enough to be paying that kind of money, and it’s right next to a college campus-certainly most student could not afford to eat here. To sum up the food ordered, my 2 year old had the short stack which was two pancakes, my year old daughter wanted spaghetti, my wife had a two egg combo meal, and I had the five chicken strip meal. My chicken looked pathetic, and did not look very fresh. It came with a mountain of french fries, and some warm and otherwise gross cole slaw. That fare should not have cost so much at all. I checked the receipt and everything was rang up correctly. Again, this is a small step up from McDonald’s, but it is still a fast food restaurant. We will not return here due to the rising prices. I’ll stick with Dick’s Drive In on 45th and save $ 25 in the process for about the same amount of food. It’s a fast food restaurant. It should not have cost us that much for food.

Solid fast casual food. Had a tasty burger and also an excellent grilled cheese! The chocolate milkshake was delicious and a good size. Fries could definitely use seasoning! They were not salted or seasoned at all which would have been the perfect touch. This was a great quick casual stop for us after a long run — didn’t feel like we needed to get dressed up.

Stepping inside this restaurant was like stepping back in a time-warp, in a weirdly comforting and nostalgic way. It reminded me of a place I’d take my grandmother after church on Sunday. I wanted a place with ample parking and a decent breakfast spread and Unilocal led me this way. The interior of the restaurant is very 70s/80s with faux wood panelling and modular-style furniture. You order at the counter and pay, then you take a little buzzer back to your table and the food is promptly delivered when ready. I ordered the pancake combo, which contained too much for one person in all honesty. The pancakes were alright, but the eggs tasted like the fake-o eggs they serve at McDonald’s. The bacon was perfect, but I have weird bacon preferences(slightly crispy, slightly chewy). The coffee was passable but I liked that you served yourself. That ensured that I was able to ingest enough to get over my caffeine withdrawals. My partner had an omelette that looked less-than-appetizing. The veggies inside looked a little dead and like they’d seen better days. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good, either. I’d be willing to give it another shot and try an actual burger, though!

This is a decent place to eat. Having worked nearly next door for 6 years, I had the occasional craving for a good olé fashion hamburger and coke(plus a chocolate malt.) The hamburgers are merely alright. This place really likes to use salt. The fries are perfection though. The salad bar is disappointing merely because they have celery mixed in with the main salad!!! NO! Don’t do that! Staff is friendly and their service is pretty timely. The atmosphere is a pleasant step back in time. Also, in the springtime, their tulips out front are AMAZING!

We have been to previous Burgermasters and enjoyed them However this location was not up to par with our expectation. The fries were bland, no salt or anything. We never like salty fries but these had nada. His fish & chips were meh. He said it was thin and greasy I waited 10 mins after he got his food to get mine. I had mini mushroom burger combo. Meh Cheese was fake. Tarter sauce was good on the fries though
