I hired Hugh to take care of the knives in my commercial kitchen. A cook/chef’s best tool is a sharp knife… and Hugh keeps mine PERFECT! I’ve even had him do my personal Henckels. The best part of it is HE comes to YOU and it takes only a few minutes! I’m a customer for life!

I emailed Hugh on New Year’s Eve asking about getting our garden tools sharpened (it was on my 2011 to do list, and with less than a day left, I figured I wasn’t going to do it myself). Hugh wrote back the next day and we scheduled a time for January 2nd. Sure enough, he arrived right on time and ready to go. I handed over my lawn mower blade, three garden cutters, a weeding knife, a pruner, a pick mattock, and a small box of scissors. In less than 30 minutes they were all as good as new, chips removed, appropriately sharp, oiled and adjusted. Hugh was professional and even provided an itemized receipt. It’s pretty cool that this can be done right outside our garage for pretty much the same cost as taking everything into a hardware store — and certainly better quality. We’re very happy with Hugh’s work and will use the service again.
