Adventure Charters

This was my 2^nd time visiting Seattle just this past week (July 23^rd 2015) and decided to do some salmon fishing in the bay. Little behold, this company’s name appeared on the top of my Google search for «great salmon fishing in Seattle». Capt. Steve (very helpful) booked us for a trip last Thursday with fellow Capt. Jon Citron. Upon arrival, Capt. Jon was very polite and friendly as he guided us to the boat, safety, regulations a few of what to Do and Not to do for a group of 4. Capt. Jon did all the work from baiting, netting, casting/​down rigging all while operating the boat (the man can really multitask I tell ya). All we did was reeling in the fish (I feel like a lazy fisherman for a bit, haha!). At first I was skeptical if I’ll even catch a salmon since that was my first ever salmon fishing trip. With Capt. Jon’s years and years of experience and his knowledge for fishing, we ended up catching (18 salmons) and kept 7 legal salmons. This was a wonderful experience and ever dollar!

My dad and I had a really great time with Captain Steve. I’m not an experienced fisherperson, but that honestly didn’t matter a bit. We each caught a beautiful fish (including the two other passengers that accompanies us on the charter).
A few times we picked up and moved to other locations to get in a better position. This was partially due to the fact that Captain Steve has an in with some other boat captains and they have each other’s back on where the fish are churning. It felt like we had an edge on the other boats, which rocked.
Even though I’m new to salmon fishing now, I hope to learn. Captain Steve showed me how to filet a fish a few different ways, which I appreciated. He seems amenable to requests, so try asking if there’s something you want to learn.
I hope to go back and try some other styles of fishing, and will definitely book with Adventure Charters as my top choice.

Did not know we had to share 3 rods for 6 people. No water or anything on boat. Captain needs some business courtesy classes. Has no business courtesy. Treats people like he is doing them a favor… never again. It sucked!

My bf loves to fish and I love to eat, so we decided to go to Seattle for a long weekend vacation from the Bay Area. My bf called Adventure Charters and booked everything in 10 minutes, really simple and very quick.
The dock was easy to find. We got there around 6:30 am, was out on the water around 7 and caught our first fish by 7:30. The trip was really enjoyable, lots of exciting moments and just enough down time to take in the scenes of the Puget Sound. We docked around 12:30 in the afternoon and were only 1 fish away from the boat’s limit.
It was my first time fishing on a charter and, thanks to Cpt. Steve, I also caught my first fish ever! He guided me through everything. He was knowledgeable and funny too! At the end of the day, he cleans and cuts up the fish for you any way you want which is both really convenient and quite a show!
