I’ve been practicing here for about 4 months and I love it. I attend classes with Noe Julia and Maria. I love that it’s not heated and it’s such a great balance of strength, movement and flexibility. I also love that I’m learning new poses. The instructors are also very friendly and warm and are great at teaching. I love it.

Aditi is a wonderful yoga studio. The atmosphere is serene and relaxing, and it doesn’t have that corporate feel that some studios have. It’s easy to manage your class passes online and checking in is a breeze with the iPad /tablet mounted on their wall. I tried prenatal yoga here — such a supportive environment and sense of community. I felt limber and relaxed after my session. It was great to be practicing with others going through the same experience of pregnancy. I heard from the other yoginis that the prenatal massage is great there too. So happy to have found this studio. There is ample free parking right outside the door.

I feel bad to have waited so many months to get around to this review. I went to Aditi partly for it’s close location to my house and mostly for their introductory yoga workshop. I had been doing basic yoga in my own home for a while and recently went to a yoga class at my gym, where the instructor pushed me a little farther than I realized my body could handle. I never knew yoga could result in so much pain and literal illness. I came down with flu symptoms that day — no exaggeration. So I realized going back and learning the fundamentals of yoga would do me some good. They were extremely flexible(no pun intended) and continued with the 4wk workshop even though only 2 of us showed, the original min for the class was 4. The instructor was Kat and she was so patient and excited to teach us every little basic move and variations of moves based on our individual comfort level. Since then I’ve been trying all kinda of yoga but plan on going back to Aditi. The studio is welcoming and comfortable with supportive instructors. This place is worth a try :))

I was struggling through these last couple weeks of pregnancy and was referred to this place. I am so grateful that I was. I found relief for the first time this whole pregnancy, I wish I had known about it sooner. I walked out of there relaxed, pain free and with my head clear. I’ve been having lots of anxiety during the day and the massage also helped with that. I was lucky that there was a cancellation for a massage, so I was able to get in with Alice. The place is close from 99 and easy to find(parking available in back of building where the entrance is.) I like that it was calm in there, but didn’t seem over the top spiritual like some yoga practices. It felt down to earth, Alice was lovely and so good, and they take my insurance. Win. I am going to tell everyone about this place and I can’t wait to try some of the classes. Like baby massage once my baby is here. Thank you, Alice. What a blessing.

About me: I’m in town for 2 weeks for a training at UW from Brooklyn, NY. I was spending 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday, sitting in lectures. I was 22 and 23 weeks pregnant with my first during my visit which made sitting for a long time is really challenging. Review: I could not have gotten through these weeks without Aditi’s prenatal yoga sessions. Not only was the yoga useful for releasing the aches and pains from long travel and sitting, but the community at Aditi made me look forward to each class at the end of the day. AND I got some useful tips I hope to apply during and after labor. Big hugs to the instructors and yogi’s at Aditi, I’ll miss these classes when I return to Brooklyn!

Wondering why there are only three Aditi reviews? It looks like many have been snagged by the filter. Check out the link at the bottom of the page for the filtered reviews. Fourteen are 5 out of 5 stars, one is 4 out of 5. Maybe this review will get flagged for flagging the flagged(or something like that). Facts are as follow: I am a real person. I’ve been doing yoga at this studio for months now. I am not an employee, independent contractor, blah blah blah, of Aditi. I’m just another gal suffering from some festively plump issues trying to share a great place to get a workout during the holiday season. So go ahead, eat the gingerbread cookie. Just hit up Aditi later. Make the day a double win! And now, I will eat the cookie. Viva la holidays!

The best yoga teacher in Seattle — Sarah Chamberlain — is here. Her classes are a workout, but at the same time very calming. It’s fun to catch yourself improving and getting stronger with every class. She doesn’t push you, but I find myself wanting to keep up with her. I’m not sure about the other teachers at Aditi, but I love the location, since it’s within walking distance from where I live. I have noticed that they offer parking, which is great.
