Completely ruined my winter coat — was brown, now an ugly greenish — had a waterproof finish that she completely destroyed. Went back and she refused to even refund the cost of the cleaning because she says I waited too long to come back. Beware!!! Obviously I won’t be coming here ever again.

I was dismayed to see that Ace Cleaners had closed and elated to discover on my bike ride that they have reopened just a few blocks east in a house on the corner where 18th Ave NE and Lake City Way intersect. It is tucked around the corner just east of the 7 – 11. We have been taking shirts to be laundered for years and have been very pleased with the service and quality of work. Prices are better than most cleaners too!

I have been going to Ace Cleaners on Lake City Way for years now, I switched from the cleaners across the street because the man who runs that place is RUDE. Ace is always willing to get shirts done in a timely manner and rush them if needed. I have never had a problem with them, they do a great job with laundering shirts, dry cleaning and small alterations. I have only had them sew small tears and replace buttons. The only downfall is the parking, the property owners there have tried to cram too many spots in an already crowded space. Not a reflection on the cleaners, just a fyi.

So, it’s a Saturday evening, I’m at a wedding in a brand new dress, and I spill a WHOLEGLASS of WHITEWINE all over my pink dress… not good. The next morning, you could see where the liquid had stained the fabric. I really didn’t want to let the stain sit any longer so I set out to find a dry cleaner that was open on Sunday. I know, YEAHRIGHT. But, the fabric gods must’ve been on my side that day as I pulled up to Ace cleaners and their door was open! They actually AREN’T open on Sundays, but the lady was in there working on things and was willing to take my dress even though they technically weren’t open! I picked up my dress today and the STAINISGONE! My dress is in perfect condition and looks brand new! Cost was about $ 14 after tax, but sooo worth saving a pricey dress. I’ve come here once before and their work on dress shirts and another dress was also great. I’m giving them the 5 stars because of their willingness to take my business on their day off :-)

We’ve been a customer here for over a year spending about $ 15 to $ 20 a week to get dry cleaning done… do the math and it’s just shy of $ 1000 a year. They also have alteration services, which is where they blew it. My fiencee took in a few dresses to get taken in just slightly and they butchered them. Now she has to take them to get fixed(if possilbe). She went in to get a refund and they were very rude to her and faught her on it. They settled on $ 60 of store credit, which doesn’t even cover what we spent to have them do it, or the costs of the dresses as they may be ruined. This is terrible customer service. We will be reporting them to the BBB as well.
