I want to start off saying I don’t normally write reviews, but the fact that Accutint’s service and final product exceeded my expectations I felt like credit was due! I have a 2016 Toyota Tacoma that is my baby and I am pretty particular about who works on my truck. Not a concern at Accutint, you can tell right away that these guys are pros at what they do. I bought my truck with tinted rear windows, but wanted to get some tint to match on the front side and front windshield. They were very helpful and informative about their different products and took the time to explain to me all the nuances of each. Throughout the installation they were in constant contact with me about how the work was going and when it would be complete. I thought this individualized attention was great and I didn’t have to guess as to what was happening. So refreshing to know that this type of customer service still exists. When I picked up the truck the tint looked like it had come straight from the factory, truly flawless installation. If you are considering tint for your windows, there is only one place I would recommend. I will be taking all of my future vehicles to these guys going forward. Thanks Accutint!

We brought our new car to get opticoat protection, clearbra, and window tint. Caleb and crew went out of the way to make sure that the car looked absolutely perfect. They needed the car for a little longer to allow for curing, worked extra hours to achieve perfection. A few months later, the car is in perfect condition, the dirt just does not stick to it. Accutint did a marvelous job and at a very reasonable price. Much better quality and pricing that the dealer offering.

Not only did the guy’s do an amazing job with my vehicle, the owner also went ahead and tackled a job for me after hours becouse of my work shedual. He also put me in contact with the right people to get other work done on my vehicle. Will definitely be back and point people to Accutint. Thanks Guy’s!

My body shop advised «no wax» for 3 months to allow the paint to fully cure. They also recommended Accutint for great hand wash. I was very pleased with the attention to detail. Also was able to get in and out — which can’t always happen — but it was nice anyway. Looking forward to taking my car there again.

Tint and detail? Done! I needed some tinting done on my car. Accutint gave me what I felt was a fair quote and did quality work. My car was detailed before I picked it back up and I left happy. The crew here is friendly and efficient. I also didn’t mind checking out all the really expensive cars there getting various things done when I dropped off and picked up my vehicle.
I’m a huge fan!

I came here to opti coat and detail my car when the paint was in pretty bad condition. They told me I had to leave my car in here for more time because of how bad the paint’s condition was and needed more time. When I got the it back, it looked like a brand new car. My experience with accutint was great and I’ll come again for anything. Look for Caleb !

I had custom stripes put on my Mini and Accutint did a fantastic job. They had great suggestions on colors, sizes, materials etc. Super fast, the work was perfect.

Unbelievable! Going to sell my car with 7 yrs of kids boogers and spills in it. Thought about groupon to save some money. Decided on accutint off recommendations. I didn’t even recognize the car when I picked it up. These guys rocked it!

I had my car in for repair next door and decided to have Accutint detail the car as long it was in the shop anyway. The neighboring repair shop set it up for me which may be part of the issue… however it occurred, I wasn’t impressed with the result. For $ 185, I got the «Deluxe» detail package which I assumed would return a pretty clean car (especially since the repair shop had already washed and vacuumed, so at least some of the worst of the dirt and grime was already gone.)
What «Deluxe» and $ 185 gets (or does not get) you is;
–a patina of lint and grit across the dash (probably used air to blow out the nooks and crannies but didn’t clean up afterwards)
–black streaks left on the door frames
–crumbs and an old piece of candy left in the side pocket
–smudgy interior windshield
–no sign of the leather upholstery being wiped down
–a black smudge remaining on the front bumper that I think can be rubbed off (I’ll try it)
I actually wondered if possibly the repair shop had not actually gotten the car detailed but had instead done a quick job of it themselves. I called Accutint to ask if they had indeed worked on my car and they had. They then described the deluxe package as basically a wash/​wax/​tire dress/​dash wipe down and suggested I try the $ 250 pkg next time if I really want the car clean.
The level of clean I experienced similar to when I go through ‘insert large gray animal’ car wash @ $ 25 + generous tip to the cleaning guys. I am totally regretting and grieving the loss of this particular $ 185.

We recently chose Accutint to fully wrap our new fleet of garage door installation vans and sales vehicles after meeting Caleb at the Seattle Auto Show. Our vehicles are a vital component of our advertising and reputation, making the decision of who to trust — and ultimately use — an important decision. Not only did I feel that Caleb was very reasonable with his pricing, his teams attention to detail and professionalism was above and beyond what I expected. I truly believe we have some of the best looking trucks on the road now, and can say that Accutint has earned our future business without question.

This is a company that does very high quality work and is operated by an owner who understands great customer service. I have used Accutint for window tinting, full front end wrapping, colored wrapping of parts of my cars, and auto detailing. Every service has always been performed top notch and I could not fathom using any other business for this work.
Also, as a service business owner myself it is especially refreshing to see a business operated by someone who understands that sometimes things need a little rework or repairs, and in these cases Caleb steps right up.
Use this company, the work will be phenomenal and you will be treated very well.

I’m a realtor and my car is my office on wheels. Plus, I have two little kids who can mess up my car in roughly 4 seconds.
Also, my car is nice. I drive a Mercedes SUV.
So factor in the work, kids, miles, dirt, grime, etc. The Accutint crew had their work cut out for them.
All I can say is holy smokes. The first time I went I couldn’t believe how good the outcome was. It was like a brand new car. Plus the guys are awesome and the shop is a serious class-​act.
Caleb, the owner, is very invested in the company and it shows. His team care and pay particular attention to the details. My car has NEVER been that clean. And I’ve since returned several times, and they never disappoint. I absolutely cannot speak highly enough about this company and it’s employees. I tell ALL of my colleagues and friends that this is the only place to go in Seattle.

Got my car windows tinted recently, ALL 5 windows (except for the front window dash) at the 15% setting (only 15% of light comes through).
1) great job, quality
2) great service, walked us through the options, set expectations on the process, everything
3) easy to find location
4) great results — for me, no longer harassed on the road when in my car
5) now I call my car, the low-​rider SUV (hatchback actually)

These guys are awesome. I have had several tint jobs from them and everytime the work has been flawless. Sure you can pay less and have some idiot come and throw tint on in your driveway — it will be garbage work. they’ll use too much fluid and it’ll short your windows motors, it will bubble and it will look terrible — then try and find that idiot to put it right — you wont be able to.
Their interior and exterior detailing service is probably the best value in Seattle. They do stella work and have never let me down.

No response to email via webform on Accutint’s site; too busy for new customers?
I compiled a very detailed and articulate email that I sent through Accutint’s site. This should have more than sufficed to deliver the email. This was done about a week prior to a recent 10 day vacation I just returned from. Still no response.
I also updated my email preferences with them on that same day so I’m sure my email was entered correctly. I received a ‘confirmation’ email shortly thereafter to further prove that. In case any of you are wondering, I also avidly check my spam/​junk folders in case emails like these end up there.
Very upsetting as I park my car in a lot off Walker Street which is about a block from Accutint’s Sodo location. Doing business with them would have been so easy.

I have had 3 vehicles tinted here now. The craftsmanship is near flawless.
I had gotten 3 detailing jobs done here and the work was good up until the last time about 2 weeks back. We brought our Mercedes C350 There were a couple trim pieces damaged during buffing. Normally this would not equal a good review. But it is the way that the mistakes were handled. We were treated with respect and dignity as well a with a great deal of care. Caleb, the owner helped us personally. He was very professional and took ownership of these mistakes but what’s more, he made good on it immediately and without any fuss or bother from us replacing the trims with brand new OEM pieces. He even went out of his way to have a small scuff on the front spoiler fixed and installed a clear bumper guard by the trunk to prevent scuffing.
Overall, I can say with all my heart that you would be hard pressed to find a business owner with as much integrity as this man.

I have an older 2002 Lexus IS300. I’m it’s second owner. I love my car but it has seen better days.
On the advice of a friend (who was very happy with two tint jobs) I took my car in for a «supreme» detail. They kept the car a little longer than I had hoped — but only because they had to shampoo the interior _​twice_​. (I was impressed. They didn’t charge me extra, either.)
The finish is now as good as it has ever looked (minus paint scratches — at least I can actually tell where the scratches are now). But I am really blown away by how much work they put into restoring the interior.
I have combo cloth/​leather seats: they deep cleaned the fabric to the point where it once again has a natural «fluffiness» and heavily treated all of the leather throughout the car. They were even able to get the mats clean (after vacuuming out tons of pine needles) — and I’ve never been able to get those mats truly clean myself. The interior is cleaner than when I bought the car — and probably cleaner than it has ever been since it was new.
I’ve had my car detailed elsewhere before but it has never come out anywhere near as well as this. All in all, I would highly recommend Accutint’s detailing service, and am planning on going back to have the windows tinted.

This is a solid place to get your windows tinted. They pull your car into a room with a curtain as to limit the amount of dust that could get stuck underneath the tint. They also guarantee that it will last the life of the car and not fade or bubble.
I was a little taken aback by the prices. I paid more for just my front 2 windows then I did for all of the windows in my last car. It does look damn sharp though and it matches my factory tint very well.
–1 star for putting an advertisement sticker on my window without asking my permission first. It did come off easily though. If you are like me and don’t want any branding on your rig then mention it before hand to save yourself the trouble.

I’m new to Seattle so I rely on Unilocal for recommendations on everything from Sushi to hot tub boats and in this case «Auto Detailing». BIG MISTAKE! This place kind of reminds me of those two hooligans that joy ride Cameron’s car in «Ferris Bueller’s Day Off».
Since the list of things that went wrong is MUCH longer than the things they did right, I’ll start there.
1. Overpriced — $ 164+ for interior detail and generic outside wash (still have cat prints and bird crap all over). I would have paid more if that’s what it took but I had no clue.
2. They left the hood open. It was night and didn’t realize it until the next morning. This rendered my car alarm and door locking mechanisms useless for the night.
3. My $ 200+ fly rod was left in the back of the truck, outside (raining) overnight. It was dark so I didn’t notice until the morning… Haven’t checked it yet for damage good thing they left the case on).
4. All change and tidbits, minor trash, a few earnings, glove-​box items and vehicle documentation was, from the looks of it, thrown into a big black bag. Mixed up like they were in a huge hurry.
5. Interior windows are very streaky even more so than when I dropped it off.
The cleaning job on the inside was good but the work they did was definitely NOT worth $ 164+.
When I came back to the shop in the morning and mentioned all the stuff that was wrong the attendant didn’t even apologize, didn’t offer any kind of sympathy. Didn’t even tell me how much it might cost to ACTUALLY clean the outside of my car… This may have been a better review and I would have come back repeatedly had they handled the situation better. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
The good news is that there’s another car detailing shop about a block away, which is even more convenient for me.
