I was recommended to use 3GI to get my number on the back of my baseball jersey. On August 15th, I finally got my jersey over to them. They told me I should have it no later than the following Friday. Friday can’t and went and the Tuesday following the Friday it was supposed to be done, I got a phone call. «The number is on the back of the jersey but the style is not what you ordered. We need to get the right style in and then we can get it completed correctly.» That was the just off my conversation on 8⁄31. I was told that I could pick it up or wait for it, it was up to me. I chose to wait because they said it should be ready no later than September 11th. Today is April 4th and I still don’t have my jersey. A number 8 sewn on the back, that is the order. Today marks EIGHTMONTHS since I dropped my jersey off. I know they went through a change in location but I’m not understanding why no one would contact me to let me know that my jersey is still there and ready to go. At this point, I just want my jersey back, no matter if the number is there or not. 8 months is a ridiculous amount of time for 1 number to be sewn on. Based on how long this has taken, I wouldn’t recommend 3GI to anyone I know, unless I am able to share with them information surrounding this one jersey that needed 1 number affixed to the back. Doesn’t seem like it should take nearly 2 months for the jersey to be finished.

They are awesome! The two guys took lots of extra time to help me get what I needed. Totally awesome! Sure, it’s not the biggest store but they will do all they can to help you get what you need.

Husband, daughter and I visited the store to outfit ourselves with baseball gloves for playing catch over the summer. Shortly after we arrived, the employees positioned themselves to keep tabs on us but did not offer assistance. When my husband and I moved to different parts of the store to browse(gloves and clothing respectively), it became really obvious, as the employees glanced at each other and wordlessly narrowed their lurking-radii, that we had been pegged as potential shoplifters. I shudder to imagine why, but needless to say, we will not be crossing their threshold again with so much as a pinky toe. Such a shame, too, since our loyalty to local small businesses is ordinarily fanatical.

this longtime Seattle business is geared strictly toward team sports and team sales ie football, baseball, soccer, basketball. so as long as you know that you will be ok. Beyond that you should seek out other stores that specialize in your sport.

A family owned business that has been around in north Seattle — Ballard — for 50 + years, this is not your«big box» sports store that crams its walls high with stuff. This is the sporting good equivalent of the friendly neighborhood hardware store — high quality gear, specializing in baseball and soccer; friendly staff; great location with easy access and lots of parking. I bought my letterman’s jacket here in ’81 and my kid’s baseball glove in ’07. Hopefully he’ll be able to do the same.
