The 4 stars relate to great customer service &ONE fairly priced item on the menu. After a very long international flight, I stopped here for a drink & food. It was 8:00pm and not busy. The lady bartender was the only person on duty. She was a «one women show». She took care of all bar orders & food orders. I ordered A large Pino Grigeo wine. Tasty but airport inflated price at $ 15.00. The clam chowder was yummy & served with a warm hunk of sourdough bread. She informed me with pride that it was IVARS chowder. I liked it. The menu is pricy but expected when eating in an airport. The BIGWINNER& low price is the salmon appetizer board. Large portion of salmon served with red onions, capers, wasabi cream & pita slices. Incredible at only $ 8.00. The service was spot on & I left happy.

We were turned away at 9:10pm on 12÷19÷15 saying that she was closing. Any of the websites say the store closes at 10pm at the earliest. The attendant was argumentative, complaining about being the only one open on the floor, hadn’t taken her break, and in a overall bad mood. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone. If I could give«0» stars, I would.

Was reluctant to stop in due to the poor reviews. However, I read that some were positive, so I gave in. They were a little busy, but not bad. After sitting there for a LONG while I left… did not want to read the menu a fourth time. One advantage to being ignored is that I decided to go through screening and found Vino Volo!

My friend and I ordered the pasta as a quick meal to share before going through security. It came out quick and warm and it was surprisingly flavorful and delicious! I was really surprised considering this was airport food. Though, of course, it came at an airport food price. Free water with your meal!

Love the crab bisque and the grilled chicken on a baguette! Delicious! A bit on the pricy side, but the food is good. I eat here when I work at the airport on occasion.

The price was decent. I was expecting it to be more expensive being at an airport. The salad I got was delicious. It had goat cheese, balsamic, walnuts, and some other veggies. It wasn’t very busy when I went and the service was prompt.

I’m sitting in here having a beer and waiting for my kids to arrive. A group of 5 people come in, 2 of which were deaf and I think 1 may have been blind. They received menus and where working on their orders when a waitress came up and asked if they where ready to order. Due to the fact that they didn’t have a flight going out for a little while one man asked how late they where open. The waitress replied we are open right now and stormed off to a different table. The 5 patrons where confused with what just happened and quickly got up and left the area. Then the waitress walks around to other customers and says these people where just loitering. She was completely in the wrong and very rude! Let’s just say this person is in her late 50’s early 60’s short dark hair and skinny. She shouldn’t be in a customer service position! The beer was good and the other waitress was very friendly. 8÷15÷15, 6:30pm

The best thing here was the free water! We ordered the Pasta Mediterranean. It was the worst we have ever eaten. Also there was no fresh basil on it(as the menu says) and the cheese was not the promised parmesan. As I told the waitress she neither accepted the criticism nor she apologized. In general the waitress was not friendly and rude. After we got the bill we wait another 20 minutes to pay. Never again!!!

In one word, I say a «DON’T»! The food is absolutely BAD. Corn/crab chowder served Luke warm. Chicken sandwich had a pre-fab SUBWAY style grilled chicken breast with painted on grill marks. Hummus platter($ 7) was actually good; though how can they screw up sliced peppers, cucumbers, carrots and Sombra red pepper store bought hummas? Wait staff was quick to make it very plain they wanted us gone ASAP. Save your money, get a bakery treat or cake and coffee at Starbucks directly across the way by the C/D gate exit. I wasted $ 35 here tonight; learn from my misfortune, and RUN from any food item on this menue. Service was poor, food was horrible.

For the airport, not too bad. Typical airport price, but fast and friendly service.

The waitress/bartender is all alone and getting slammed. However, while she’s at it, she’s talking sooooo much shit about & to the customers. I realize she’s alone, overworked, and stressed but she’s also rude, off-putting, and mean. She’s passing time by complaining about the customers out loud and passive-aggressively. She bitched out one man for changing seats so he could see the t.v. Another man was chastised for sitting alone at a table with four seats. She’s also making rude remarks about how the ballgame on television is resulting in more customers saying«I don’t give a damn about the NBA». Maybe she’s just a true Miami fan, and thus, a LeBron hater. At least she’s entertaining to listen to while I drink a $ 7 beer and watch the game.

I met a friend here as he was heading out of town and I gotta say that — as a local — I would come back just because it was a good place to eat. Yes, this is not your«heavy» resturant experience yet the quality was excellent, good service and fair prices. Despite being by a security gate the place still had its own atmosphere. My guest and I were quite surprised the airport would have such a place!

Best place to wait for someone and calm down with a beverage. As stated by others don’t go for the food. Crab bisque missing crab and down right watery. I don’t know what it would be like to work this bar job but reading phone before serving customer is a miss.

Food is not bad for airport fare. Don’t go at meal time, though. The place is not staffed to handle an abundance of would-be diners. I don’t mean people waiting; I mean with a few empty seats. Just now I waited for quite a bit before the server showed, and was asked to change tables. Nah… I think I’ll head down to Dish Delish. To repeat, it’s a service problem way before a food problem. This is the second time, so I think maybe I’ll just skip coming down here.

Major attitude from bartender Friday at 2PM. Statements such as «they are already trying to fire me» and«it’s not my nickel» when she gets patrons drinks wrong make me feel Tia is one place I won’t be going again.

Interesting to me that a place that plays up its region-specific wine list doesn’t do the same for its beers. I guess that they are playing to out-of-towners that don’t know that Seattle is a beer mecca. I did try a sip of wine at the offering of the bar tender, and it wasn’t very good. When queried about other options, she said that she didn’t know because she just fills in every once in a while. I will give her credit for honesty, but I have to wonder about the whole«region» concept if you don’t train your staff on it. The two dishes we had were barely second rate. The shrimp on a skewer were balanced atop a set of cheap wooden chop sticks, and the pasta dish had an exceptionally watery sauce and barely any flavor. The location was outside security, so I could entertain my laying-over friend, but frankly I was embarrassed that this what was offered as something Washingtonian for travelers to enjoy. This place fails to excel in choice, execution, and service.

Major case of attitude from server working the front of the house at 8:45 on Sunday night. Just what we did not need after a day of traveling and having to wait for a bag that went to the wrong place. Note to management — not the best face forward for«fine» anything. We will never set foot in here again and I encourage others to avoid it.

If you want frozen microwaved food at $ 15 to $ 20 a plate, this is your place. I am not joking when I say the food is frozen and microwaved. Save your money travelers. Starve and hit the town for better food. Update: So after I entered this reviewed on Unilocal.Waiter 1 and Bartender talks… Waiter 1 says to Bartender, «You really wash those dishes well. The other person just dunks them here and there and calls it a day». This was right in front of me when I had the French dip. Sanitary plates and cups? Ummm…

I’ve only had the cheese plates and the wine but I must say this is now a permanent stop for me when arriving in Sea-Tac. I really appreciate that it’s located OUTSIDE of the gate area so that if you have someone meeting you, you both can loiter together for a quick glass of wine and some cheese and crackers. Everytime I’ve been visited, the service has been pretty good and, considering you’re at an airport, the prices aren’t too bad either. Yay! I’m totally a fan!

It’s airport food… The place looks glamorous and decorative but the food is pretty upsetting. When I read the menu, everything sounded really good. I wanted something simple since I just got off the plane. I had the Beef Au Jus Sandwich with salad. The way they described the sandwich was piled high with beef. there were only two slices of beef… Wheres the beef?!
